Abstract

본 발명은 발전기용 소음기에 대한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 비상용 발전기로부터 배출되는 배기가스의 유해성분을 침전시켜 배출시킬 수 있는 발전기용 소음기에 대한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 발전기용 소음기는 흡음케이스와, 스크류와, 탱크 및 분사수단을 포함한다. 상기 흡음케이스는 배기가스가 유입되는 유입구와, 상기 배기가스가 유출되는 유출구가 형성되며, 상기 배기가스의 소음을 흡수하기 위한 흡음벽을 구비한다. 상기 스크류는 상기 배기가스를 상기 흡음벽으로 분산시키기 위하여 상기 배기가스의 흐름방향으로 상기 흡음케이스의 내부에 장착된다. 상기 분사수단은 상기 탱크에 수용된 물을 상기 배기가스에 분사시킬 수 있도록 상기 흡음벽에 장착된 분사노즐과, 상기 탱크의 물을 분사노즐로 공급하기 위한 펌프와, 상기 펌프에서 상기 분사노즐로 연결된 분사관을 구비한다.
본 발명에 의하면 흡음케이스로 배출되는 배기가스에 분사수단을 이용하여 물을 분사시킴으로써 배기가스의 포함된 매연이 침전된다. 따라서 소음기로 배출되는 배기가스에서 유해성분을 저감시킬 수 있다.
