Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention [0001] The present invention relates to a composite protective sheet attached to a mobile device having a curved surface portion,

The present invention relates to a protective sheet of a portable device and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a composite protective sheet and a method of manufacturing the same which smoothly adhere to a portable device having a curved portion without bubbles or deformation.

A display such as a liquid crystal display (LCD), an organic light emitting diode (OLED), and electrophoresis (EPD) forms a screen. Display is widely used in mobile devices such as mobile phones, smart phones, tablets, and information processors such as ATMs and kiosks. The display device employs a portable device with various functions. Such a mobile device refers to components such as a mobile phone, a smart phone, and a tablet PC, and includes a window, a circuit board, a touch screen, and the like. On the other hand, the protective sheet is attached to the portable device and has an effect of protecting the front surface of the touch screen.

Recently, a portable device having a curved surface shape having a curvature and a three-dimensional curvature at an edge than a center portion has been applied. Such a panel is called a curved mobile device. Furthermore, the curved portable device may include a corner that is connected to an edge to form a curved surface. As described above, the curved surface portable device has a tendency to have an edge, a corner or an edge and a curved shape at the corner. The protective sheet for protecting the curved surface portable device has to have a scattering prevention film laminated on the curved transparent sheet and the protective sheet is not stably attached to the curved portable device due to the elastic restoring force and deformation of the scattering prevention film .

Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 2014-0013155 adopts a method in which flat tempered glass is used and the edge is attached to the front surface of the protective cover. The above method can not be adopted for the curved reinforced glass. In addition, since the multi-layer protective cover needs to be attached to the front surface of the edge, the manufacturing process is complicated. Further, the protective cover exposed to the outside is left with an adhesive material, foreign substances outside the portion are buried, and the aesthetic appearance is damaged. Incidentally, when the size of the edge forming the curved surface increases, the portion occupying the curved surface portion of the protective sheet expands, and the gap with the edge increases excessively. Accordingly, the method according to the patent is difficult to appropriately cope with the shape of the edge.

On the other hand, the curved frame part is changed into various aspects such as a change in curvature and an aspherical surface. In order to cope with this, a method of molding a hard material excellent in hardness, stiffness, transparency, and workability such as tempered glass, polycarbonate, and polyester has been proposed. However, the protective sheet made of such a material is difficult to be molded, and there is a spring back phenomenon in which the protective sheet is intended to be restored to its original state even if it is molded. It is difficult to cope with the curvature and the shape of the curved frame portion, so that the curvature of the curved frame portion is limited to only a part of the curved frame portion. As another method, a soft material such as a soft TPU (Thermal Polyurethane) has been proposed, but the soft material has a remarkably low hardness and is very vulnerable to scratches. Further, the soft material must have high adhesion and it is not easy to remove bubbles.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a composite protection device which is excellent in scratch resistance, easily ejects bubbles, has a curved surface portion that stably attaches to the shape of a curved surface while overcoming a spring- Sheet and a method of manufacturing the same.

A composite protective sheet attached to a portable device having a curved surface portion for solving the problems of the present invention includes a curved edge portion, a central portion located inside the edge portion and having a curvature smaller or flat than the edge portion, A polymer base attached to a portable device having a screen portion on all or a part of the frame portion and attached to the portable device by a curved adhesive covering the central portion and the frame portion and a polymer base attached to the center portion, And a transparent sheet covering a part of the polymer substrate and exposing a part of the polymer substrate.

In the protective sheet of the present invention, the adhesive strength of the curved adhesive to the portable device is greater than the restoring force of the curled elastic adhesive to the portable device, and the adhesive force of the curved adhesive to the portable device It is better to be larger than the resilience caused by the development. Wherein the transparent sheet covers a part of the rim portion and the degree to which the transparent sheet expands to the rim portion is proportional to the area of the polymer blanket covering the rim portion and the curvature of the rim portion and the width of the rim portion Inversely proportional to curvature. The rim may include a corner where the rim is connected to form a curved surface. The transparent sheet may cover all or a part of the screen portion. The transparent sheet may comprise a tempered glass substrate or a plastic substrate or a substrate on which they are combined. The lower surface of the transparent sheet may be formed with an adhesive layer or an adhesive layer coated with an adhesive. The lower surface of the transparent sheet may be bonded to the anti-scattering film composed of a scattering adhesive layer, a scattering base film, and a scattering adhesive layer.

In the preferred protective sheet of the present invention, the side surface of the transparent sheet and the upper surface of the polymer substrate may be coated with a cured layer. The upper surface of the polymer substrate located on the outer side of the transparent sheet may include a band portion for preventing a step from the transparent sheet. And a second hardened layer on the upper surface of the polymer substrate located on the outer side of the transparent sheet to prevent a step from the transparent sheet. The polymer substrate may be formed with an insertion groove into which the transparent sheet is inserted. The central portion and the rim portion of the portable device may be coated with a fingerprint preventing layer having a contact angle of 110 degrees or more.

According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing a composite protective sheet to be attached to a portable device having a curved surface portion, the method comprising the steps of: forming a curved edge portion, a center portion located on the inner side of the edge portion, Wherein the portable device is attached to a portable device having a screen portion on the whole or a part of the frame portion together with the center portion or the center portion and is first attached to the portable device by a curved adhesive agent covering the center portion and the frame portion, The adhesive force of the curved adhesive agent is greater than the restoring force due to the springback phenomenon. Thereafter, a transparent sheet, which is limited to the central portion or covers a part of the rim portion together with the central portion, is formed on the polymer substrate, wherein the adhesive force of the curved adhesive to the portable device is larger than the restoring force due to springback. A mask covering the transparent sheet is disposed on the transparent sheet. A reinforcing layer is formed on the upper surface of the polymer substrate exposed by the mask to prevent a step from the transparent sheet. The mask is removed.

In the method of the present invention, a handle for removing the mask may be provided on one side of the mask.

According to the composite protective sheet attached to the portable apparatus having the curved surface portion of the present invention and the method of manufacturing the same, it is possible to provide a composite protective sheet which is excellent in scratch resistance, It is easy to discharge and is stably attached to the curved portion while overcoming the springback phenomenon.

The embodiment of the present invention is a combination of a composite protective sheet having a combination of a transparent sheet covering a screen portion and a polymer substrate covering a curved portion and having excellent scratch resistance and being easy to discharge bubbles and stably attached regardless of the shape of the curved portion A protective sheet and a method of manufacturing the same. The transparent sheet covering the screen portion and the polymer base covering the curved portion will be described in detail, and the protective sheet in which these are combined will be described in detail. Further, a preferred method of manufacturing the composite protective sheet will be described in detail.

1 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a first composite protective sheet 100 attached to a portable device having a curved surface according to an embodiment of the present invention. For convenience of explanation, the first composite protective sheet 100 is shown before being attached to the curved surface portable device (CD).

1, the first composite protective sheet 100 is attached to a curved surface portable device (CD) having a curved surface portion. The first composite protective sheet 100 is a combination of the transparent sheet 10 covering the screen portion and the polymer base material 20 covering the curved portion. The curved surface portable device (CD) is applied to a curved surface touch screen panel whose edge portion (a) has a larger curvature than the central portion (b) and is three-dimensional. A curved surface portable device (CD) is, for example, a mobile phone, a smart phone, or a tablet PC. The central portion (b) may have a flat surface as shown, but it may be a curved surface having a predetermined curvature depending on the case.

The rim portion (a) is a region where the degree of curvature of the curved surface is larger than that of the central portion (b). The rim portion (a) is formed on one side or both sides of the curved surface portable device (CD). The rim portions (a) may all have the same curvature and may partially have different curvatures. Although not shown, the curved surface portable device CD may include corners forming a curved surface to which the rim a is connected. Accordingly, the curved surface portion of the present invention also includes a combination of the corners in the rim portion (a). The edge portion (a) and the center portion (b) of the curved surface portable device (CD) are coated with the fingerprint blocking layer. The fingerprint blocking layer usually has a contact angle of 110 degrees or more.

The portable device (CD) is divided into a screen area and a bezel area. The polymer substrate 20 covering the bezel region may include a print layer that is transparent or exhibits various functions. The print layer may be formed of any one or more of transparent, translucent, and / or color. The printing layer may be formed using inkjet printing or transfer using inkjet printing using silk printing or UV or thermal curing. The position of the print layer may vary depending on the shape, function, and the like of the display device to which the portable device of the present invention is applied. In this case, the size of the screen by the curved touch screen panel can be more flexibly controlled regardless of the print layer.

The screen area may be a first area D1 defined in the center part b and a second area D2 or a third area D3 of the frame part a in the first area D1, And at least one of the regions D2 and D3 may be added. In other words, the screen area may be a first form, which is the first area D1, or a second form, in which at least one of the second or third areas D2 and D3 is combined in the first area D1. The first composite protective sheet 100 according to the embodiment of the present invention can be applied to both the first and second embodiments. In the figure, a curved surface portable device (CD) having a screen area in which the second and third areas D2 and D3 are combined in the first area D1 is shown as an example. Each of the second and third regions D2 and D3 may occupy all or a part of the rim portion a. In other words, each of the second and third areas D2 and D3 may extend to the edge of the curved portable device CD, or may be located up to a predetermined area of the rim a.

The transparent sheet 10 may cover all or a part of the screen area. The first protective sheet 100 according to the embodiment of the present invention may be modified in various ways depending on the shape of the transparent sheet 10 covering the screen area. The transparent sheet 10 may cover either the first shape or the second shape in whole or in part. The manner in which the transparent sheet 10 covers the screen area 10 may be different depending on the thickness, material, and the like of the transparent sheet 10. For example, if the transparent sheet 10 is a slim tempered glass or a flexible polymer material, it can be applied to a screen area of the second type. When the transparent sheet 10 has relatively high stiffness and elasticity, it is preferable to cover the screen area of the first type.

The transparent sheet 10 covering the screen portion is attached to the polymer substrate 20 by the joint layer 11 made of a transparent adhesive or an adhesive. The adhesive forming the joint layer 11 may be any one selected from the group consisting of a pressure-sensitive adhesive mixed with a crosslinking agent in a thermosetting resin or an ultraviolet-curable resin which is an acrylic resin, a silicone resin or a urethane resin or a mixture thereof or a copolymer thereof, An acrylic resin, a silicone resin, an epoxy resin, a urethane resin, or a composite resin thereof. The joint layer 11 can make the transparent sheet 10 detachable or fix to the polymer base material 20. The transparent sheet 10 may be detached from the polymer substrate 20 and the transparent sheet 10 may be fixed to the polymer substrate 20 when the adhesive layer is formed of the adhesive .

The transparent sheet 10 can be used without limitation as long as it is made of a transparent material. For example, a glass substrate or a plastic substrate. Specifically, the glass substrate may be tempered glass, and the plastic substrate is made of a thermoplastic resin. Preferably, the plastic substrate is made of PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate), PEN (PolyEthylene Naphthalate), PES (Polyether Sulfone) ), PC (PolyCarbonate), PMMA (PolyMethyl Methacrylate), PU (Polyurethane), TAC (Tri-Acrylic-Cellulose) or COC (Cycloolefin Copolymer). The transparent sheet 10 may be a laminated structure in which the reinforcing glass and the plastic substrate are formed in multiple layers.

On the transparent sheet 10, properties such as prevention of fingerprints, prevention of reflection, blocking of blue light, blocking of electromagnetic waves, privacy, and antibacterial property can be given. For example, a fluorine-based coating liquid may be wet-coated, or may be dry-coated by vacuum deposition to form a fingerprint-preventing coating layer that provides a fingerprint-proofing function. The coating layer of the transparent sheet 10 may be a glass substrate which has been subjected to anti-fingerprinting or anti-fingerprinting and antibacterial treatment, or a plastic substrate which has anti-fingerprinting or anti- As such, the coating can enable the transparent sheet 10 to exhibit various functions. Stiffness, stiffness, elasticity and the like of the transparent sheet 10 are higher than that of the polymer base material 20.

Alternatively, the transparent sheet 10 may employ a slim tempered glass having a thickness of approximately 10 mu m to 150 mu m. The slim tempered glass has a breakage mechanism that causes cracks that do not involve debris. Since there are no scattered fragments and no sharp edges, there is no debris that injures or injures the user or is sucked into the human body. Even if the slim glass is broken, scattering of the transparent polymer base material 20 is prevented, so that stability can be secured. The slim tempered glass is free from warpage, and is more efficient especially when applied to the screen area of the second type.

The polymer base material 20 is made of a transparent material and the central part b overlaps the transparent sheet 10 but a part of the upper surface is exposed at the rim part a. Specifically, when the transparent sheet 10 is in the first region D1, the upper surface of the polymer base material 20 of the rim portion (a) is entirely exposed to the outside. When the transparent sheet 10 is in the screen area of the second type, a part of the upper surface of the polymer base material 20 of the rim portion (a) is exposed to the outside. On the other hand, the polymer base material 20 is not molded or formed to conform to the shape of the rim portion (a), but the material thereof is flexible and can be laminated in the shape of the rim portion (a). For example, if the stiffness is large, the molding is preferable, and if the stiffness is small and flexible, molding is not required. In general, the polymer base material 20 may not be subjected to hard coating, fingerprint coating, antibacterial coating, or some treatment.

The polymer substrate 20 has a transparent joint layer 11 on one side and a transparent curved adhesive layer 21 on the other side. The polymer substrate 20 is preferably in the form of a film of a thermoplastic resin such as PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate), PEN (PolyEthyleneNaphthalate), PES (PolyetherSulfone), PI (Polyimide), PAR (Polyarylate) (PolyMethylMethAcrylate), PU (Polyurethane), TPU (Thermal PU), PE (PolyEthylene), PP (PolyPropylene), TAC (Triacetyl-cellulose) or COC (Cycloolefin Copolymer). The curved adhesive layer 21 may be made of any one of acrylic resin, silicone resin, epoxy resin, urethane resin, or composite resin thereof. The first composite protective sheet 100 of the present invention is a curved adhesive layer 21, Is attached to the curved surface portable device (CD).

Optionally, there may be a transparent cured layer 30 on the sides of the transparent sheet 10 and the laminate layer 11 and on the top surface of the polymeric substrate 20. [ The cured layer 30 may be made of any one of a cured resin selected from a thermosetting resin and an ultraviolet curing resin, and more preferably an ultraviolet curing resin. For example, an ultraviolet curing resin is prepared by blending various types of acrylic units and a UV curing catalyst such as a polyurethane resin, an epoxy resin or a polyester resin. As a specific example of the UV-cured layer 30, urethane or acrylate oligomers, reactive monomers, photoinitiators and leveling agents are mixed as ultraviolet reactive coating materials. The urethane acrylate oligomer has a formula containing an aliphatic, cyclic aliphatic, aromatic compound or an oligomer of these compounds, and polyester polyol or polyether polyol is included in the molecular structure.

As the reactive monomer, trimethylpropane triacrylate, hexane diol diacrylate, pentaerythritol triacrylate and dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate are mixed and adjusted at a suitable ratio in consideration of hardness and adhesive force. As the photoinitiator, a usual polymerization initiator which is activated by ultraviolet rays is used, and in particular, hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone, benzophenol, and phenyl-2-hydroxy-2-phenylketone are mainly used. The cured layer 30 is formed by using a coating method by ejection, a coating method using a pad, a coating method by digital printing, and the like.

The hardened layer 30 has high hardness and excellent elasticity, and there is no fear that harmful substances will be decomposed even for a long period of time. The cured layer 30 may have tackiness, but it is better not to be tacky. If there is no tackiness, foreign matter of the outside does not adhere to the exposed portion of the cured layer 30, so that the appearance of the first protective sheet 100 is not damaged. The cured layer 30 reduces steps of the transparent sheet 10 and the polymer substrate 20 and prevents the transparent sheet 10 from being broken to improve the stability of the first protective sheet 100. [

The first composite protective sheet 100 according to the embodiment of the present invention is classified as follows. The transparent sheet 10 is confined to the central portion b or covers a part of the rim portion a together with the central portion b. The polymer base material 20 covers substantially all of the central portion b and the rim portion a. Here, the substantially whole portion is meant to cover the entire area of the rim a, and thus does not necessarily cover the entire area, and the rim is a partial area of the rim a. In other words, the curved edge portion (a) serves to substantially adhere the polymer substrate 20. The polymer base material 20 is more flexible than the transparent sheet 10 and easily attached even if the curved shape of the rim portion a is complicated.

The transparent sheet 10 and the polymer base material 20 according to the embodiment of the present invention have different attachment mechanisms to the curved adhesive layer 21. Specifically, when the transparent sheet 10 is attached to the curved surface portable device CD, the attachment state at the rim portion a is not maintained for a long time. This is because the transparent sheet 10 is relatively large in elasticity (including viscoelasticity) than the polymer substrate 20, and the portion of the transparent sheet 10 bonded to the rim portion a by spring back phenomenon tries to restore its original state Because. The adhesive force of the transparent sheet 10 with the curved adhesive layer 21 is smaller than the restoring force of the springback. Accordingly, the transparent sheet 10 can not be directly attached to the curved surface portable device (CD) due to the restoring force. The restoring force relationship of the transparent sheet 10 with respect to the curved adhesive layer 21 depends on the material, thickness, and the like of the transparent sheet 10.

On the contrary, the polymer base material 20 is molded in a curved shape of the rim a, or is not formed in a curved shape, but is soft and easily attached to the curved rim of the rim a. When the polymer base material 20 is attached to the curved surface portable device (CD), the attachment state at the rim portion (a) is maintained for a long time. This is because the polymer base material 20 has a smaller elasticity and viscoelasticity than the transparent sheet 10 and the portion joined to the rim portion a due to the spring back phenomenon is not restored to its original state . The adhesive strength of the polymer base material 20 to the curved adhesive layer 21 is greater than the restoring force of the springback. Accordingly, the polymer base material 20 can overcome the above restoring force and can be directly attached to the curved surface portable device (CD). The restoring force relationship of the polymer base material 20 to the curved pressure sensitive adhesive layer 21 depends on the material, thickness, and the like of the polymer base material 20.

The first composite protective sheet 200 according to the embodiment of the present invention uses a transparent sheet 10 to fulfill the role of a protective sheet for protecting the screen of the curved portable device CD. Further, the polymer base material 20 is utilized to secure the adhesion with the curved frame part (a). Accordingly, the first composite protective sheet 100 of the present invention protects the screen of the curved surface portable device (CD), and can maintain the adhesive force for a long period of time. The first composite protective sheet 100 sufficiently fulfills the role of the protective sheet irrespective of the curved shape of the rim portion a.

By applying the polymer base material 20 that increases the adhesion with the curved frame portion a, the region in which the transparent sheet 10 extends to the frame portion a can be enlarged. The expanded region is in proportion to the adhesive force of the adhesive layer 22 and the area of the polymer base material 20 covering the rim portion a and the rim of the rim portion a Is inversely proportional to the curvature of the edge portion (a) at the end portion of the transparent sheet 10. In other words, if the area of the polymer base material 20 covering the rim portion a is increased, the area of the transparent sheet 10 extending to the rim portion a can be increased.

2 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a second composite protective sheet 200 attached to a portable device having a curved surface portion according to an embodiment of the present invention. At this time, the second composite protective sheet 200 is the same as the first composite protective sheet 100 except that the transparent sheet 10 and the scattering prevention film 15 are interposed in the polymer base material 20. Accordingly, detailed description of the overlapping portions will be omitted. For convenience of explanation, the second composite protective sheet 200 is shown before being attached to the curved surface portable device (CD).

2, the anti-scattering film 15 is attached to the second composite protective sheet 200 between the transparent sheet 10 and the polymer substrate 20, that is, the lower surface of the transparent sheet 10. The scattering prevention film 15 has a scattering base layer 12 on one side of the transparent scattering base film 13 and a scattering adhesion layer 14 on the other side. The scattering base film 13 is formed of a material selected from the group consisting of PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate), PEN (PolyEthyleneNaphthalate), PES (PolyetherSulfone), PI (PolyImide), PAR (Polyarylate), PC (PolyCarbonate), PU (polyurethane), PMMA (PolyMethylMethAcrylate) Copolymer). The scattering adhesive layer 12 may be composed of any one selected from among acrylic resin, silicone resin, urethane resin, thermosetting resin mixed with a crosslinking agent in the ultraviolet curing resin, or a mixture thereof or a copolymer thereof, and the scattering- An acrylic resin, a silicone resin, an epoxy resin, a urethane resin, or a composite resin thereof.

In some cases, the anti-scattering film 15 may have a predetermined inner margin inward of the transparent sheet 10. By having the inner margin, it is possible to prevent the scattering adhesion layer and the scattering adhesion layer (12, 14) from flowing out to the outside of the transparent sheet (10). The inner margin is not necessarily limited to this, but is preferably larger than 0 mm and 0.5 mm or smaller. The inner margin may be determined depending on the thickness and characteristics of the scattering adhesive layer and the scattering-adhesion layer 12, 14. In addition, the outer side of the transparent sheet 10 of the anti-scattering film 15 may have a predetermined outer margin. By having the outer margin, the user can be prevented from being injured by the side surface of the transparent sheet 10, such as a staple.

The transparent sheet 10 with the anti-scattering film 15 attached thereto is freely attachable and detachable to the polymer substrate 20. The second composite protective sheet 200 can be manufactured by separately fabricating the transparent base sheet 10 on which the scattering prevention film 15 and the polymer base material 20 coated with the curved adhesive layer 21 are separately formed have.

3 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a third composite protective sheet 300 attached to a portable device having a curved surface portion according to an embodiment of the present invention. The third composite protective sheet 300 is the same as the first composite protective sheet 100 except that the exposed upper surface of the polymer substrate 20 is covered to eliminate the step with the transparent sheet 10. Accordingly, detailed description of the overlapping portions will be omitted. For convenience of explanation, the third composite protective sheet 300 is in a state before it is attached to the curved surface portable device (CD).

Referring to FIG. 3, the third composite protective sheet 300 may cover the exposed upper surface of the polymer substrate 20 with the band portion 40 to eliminate a step with the transparent sheet 10. The band portion 40 has the same profile as the transparent sheet 10 with no step difference while blocking the upper surface of the polymer base material 20 from being exposed by the transparent polymer band 41 and the band adhesive layer 42 . The polymer band 41 is made of a thermoplastic resin and may be formed of a material such as PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate), PEN (PolyEthyleneNaphthalate), PES (PolyetherSulfone), PI (Polyimide), PAR (Polyarylate), PC (PolyCarbonate), PMMA (PolyMethylMethAcrylate) And may be made of at least one selected from the group consisting of PU (Polyurethane), TPU (Thermal PU), PE (PolyEthylene), PP (PolyPropylene), TAC (Tri- Acyltyl-Cellulose) and COC (Cyclo Olefin Copolymer) ) May be composed of any one selected from the group consisting of acrylic resin, silicone resin or urethane-based resin, thermosetting resin which is a urethane-based resin, or a pressure-sensitive adhesive in which a crosslinking agent is mixed with a UV-curable resin, or a mixture thereof or a copolymer thereof.

On the band portion 40, properties such as fingerprint prevention, reflection prevention, blue light blocking, electromagnetic wave blocking, privacy, and antibacterial properties can be imparted. For example, a fluorine-based coating liquid may be wet-coated, or may be dry-coated by vacuum deposition to form a fingerprint-preventing coating layer that provides a fingerprint-proofing function. The coating may allow the band portion 40 to exhibit various functions. As described above, the band portion 40 can add a function that is difficult to be realized in the polymer base material 20. The coating layer may be formed singly or together with the transparent sheet 10. Although not shown, the gap between the band portion 40 and the transparent sheet 10 can be filled with the same material as the above-mentioned hardened layer (30 in FIG. 1).

The band portion 40 can be formed in various ways. As a specific example, the band portion 40 may be attached to the periphery of the polymer substrate 20 to form the first insertion groove 43 into which the transparent sheet 10 is inserted, or the transparent sheet 10 may be first attached to the polymer substrate 20, The band portion 40 can be formed. Further, after the polymer film and the adhesive layer are laminated on the entire surface of the polymer substrate 20, the portion corresponding to the first insertion groove 43 is removed to form the band portion 40. Of course, in addition to the above examples, the band portion 40 can be formed in a different manner within the scope of the present invention.

4 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a fourth composite protective sheet 400 attached to a portable device having a curved portion according to an embodiment of the present invention. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing one example of a method of manufacturing the fourth composite protective sheet 400 of FIG. The fifth composite protective sheet 500 is the same as the third composite protective sheet 300 except that the reinforcing layer 50 is used in place of the band portion 40. Accordingly, a detailed description of overlapping portions will be omitted. For convenience of explanation, the fourth composite protective sheet 400 is shown before it is attached to the curved surface portable device (CD).

4 and 5, the fourth composite protective sheet 400 may cover the exposed upper surface of the polymer substrate 20 with the reinforcing layer 50 to eliminate a step with the transparent sheet 10. The reinforcing layer 50 has the same profile as the transparent sheet 10 with no step difference while blocking the upper surface of the polymer substrate 20 from being exposed. The reinforcing layer 50 is not limited to a transparent material. The reinforcing layer 50 may be made of a resin such as a transparent resin or water glass and may be made of any one of a thermosetting resin and an ultraviolet ray hardening resin as in the case of the hardening layer 30 described above, The resin is more preferable. For example, an ultraviolet curing resin is prepared by blending various types of acrylic units and a UV curing catalyst such as a polyurethane resin, an epoxy resin or a polyester resin.

The reinforcing layer 50 can be formed in various ways. Here, one example is given. The mask 51 covering the transparent sheet 10 and exposing a part of the polymer base material 20 is placed on the transparent sheet 10. [ Although not shown, a handle may be formed on one side of the mask 51 to facilitate removal of the mask 51. The mask 51 is made of a material which is easily removed from the transparent sheet 10 because it has little adhesive force. In the state of being protected by the mask 51, the reinforcing layer 50 is formed on the entire surface of the mask 51 and the exposed polymer base material 20. At this time, all or a part of the mask 51 may have a residual layer 52 in which a material forming the reinforcing layer 50 remains. Alternatively, the reinforcing layer 50 is formed only on the exposed polymer substrate 20 in a state of being protected by the mask 51. When the reinforcing layer 50 is formed, the mask 51 is removed. Of course, in addition to the above examples, the band portion 40 can be formed in a different manner within the scope of the present invention.

On the reinforcing layer 50, features such as fingerprint prevention, reflection prevention, blue light blocking, electromagnetic wave blocking, privacy, and antibacterial properties can be imparted. For example, a fluorine-based coating liquid may be wet-coated, or may be dry-coated by vacuum deposition to form a fingerprint-preventing coating layer that provides a fingerprint-proofing function. The coating may allow the stiffening layer 50 to exhibit various functions. As described above, the reinforcing layer 50 can add a function that is difficult to be realized in the polymer substrate 20. The coating layer may be formed solely of the reinforcing layer 50 or may be formed together with the transparent sheet 10.

6 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a fifth composite protective sheet 500 attached to a portable device having a curved surface portion according to an embodiment of the present invention. At this time, the fifth composite protective sheet 500 is the same as the first composite protective sheet 100, except that the polymer composite body 60 is used instead of the polymer base material 20. Accordingly, a detailed description of overlapping portions will be omitted. For convenience of explanation, the fifth composite protective sheet 500 is in a state before it is attached to the curved surface portable device (CD).

According to Fig. 6, the fifth composite protective sheet 500 is formed by mounting the transparent sheet 10 on the second insertion groove 61 of the transparent polymer molded body 60. The polymer molded body 60 may be formed of a material selected from the group consisting of PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate), PEN (PolyEthyleneNaphthalate), PES (PolyetherSulfone), PI (Polyimide), PAR (Polyarylate), PC (PolyCarbonate), PMMA (PolyMethylMethAcrylate) The polymer molding body 60 is formed of at least one resin selected from the group consisting of Polyurethane, PolyEthylene, PP, Triacetyl-Cellulose (TAC), and Cycloolefin Copolymer (COC) 4 is a kind of polymer base material 20 in the composite protective sheets 100, 200, 300 and 400. The adhesion surface c on which the transparent sheet 10 and the polymer base material 20 contact is For example by heat pressing, sticking or gluing.

The second insertion groove 61 has a step difference d. The step (d) may vary depending on the thickness, the material, and the like of the transparent sheet 10. Furthermore, the step d can be made equal to the thickness of the transparent sheet 10 to eliminate the bending between the transparent sheet 10 and the polymer formed body 60. In some cases, the transparent sheet 10 and the polymer molded body 50 may be treated with the same material as the above-mentioned cured layer. The polymer molded body 60 can be manufactured in various ways. As a specific example, a molded body having the second insertion groove 61 can be formed by extrusion or injection molding. Of course, in addition to the above examples, the polymer molded body 60 can be manufactured in a different manner within the scope of the present invention.

While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed exemplary embodiments, but many variations and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
