Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a capacitor module apparatus and a method of manufacturing the capacitor module apparatus, and more particularly, to a capacitor module apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof that can easily and firmly mount a capacitor module apparatus on a circuit board.
In general, capacitors are used for the design of electronic circuits for the requirement of rated voltage and rated capacity. The types of capacitors include electrolytic capacitors, tantalum capacitors, or multilayer ceramic capacitors.
The above-mentioned capacitor is installed on a circuit board (PCB). In recent years, the installation space of the circuit board has been reduced due to the thinning and shortening of the product, and accordingly, the height at which the capacitor is installed on the circuit board is also limited.
On the other hand, in the case of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal are assembled by soldering to a circuit board. Accordingly, there is a disadvantage that it is vulnerable to an external shock or vibration because it is a structure in which there are no members for fixing the aluminum electrolytic capacitor and the circuit board except for the two terminals.
Specifically, the vibration of the circuit board is likely to be transmitted to the inside of the capacitor through the terminal, which is applied to the contact portion of the aluminum foil Foil inside the capacitor, which causes the contact failure. In addition, the impact and vibration applied to the outside of the capacitor may cause damage to the insulating oxide film (Al 2 O 3 ) provided at the contact portion between the terminal and the foil. Since the damaged oxide insulating film causes an increase in leakage current during charging and discharging, the charging efficiency and the discharging efficiency are reduced, the deterioration of the capacitor due to heat generation and the insulation voltage are reduced, and the life of the capacitor is seriously affected.
Such poor contact inside the product may cause a fatal problem in the aluminum electrolytic capacitor in which the high voltage and the large current are charged and discharged, so that the transmission of internal vibration through the terminal must be completely blocked.
Further, since the terminal of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor is soldered to the circuit board, the vibration of the product body caused by the load of the product can be reversely transmitted to the soldered terminal. In this case, the soldering of the terminal may result in failure, and in the long term, the solder may be isolated to open the circuit, or a fire may be caused by spark due to contact failure.
Alternatively, as in the case of Japanese Laid-Open Patent Application No. 2013-235968 (entitled "Capacitor Mounting Structure, Disclosure Date: 2013.11.21"), a separate capacitor fixing member is provided on a circuit board to secure the vibration resistance of the electrolytic capacitor It is also said.
The method of mounting the electrolytic capacitor as described above has problems such as complexity of the assembling process and increase of the working time. Particularly, a method of applying a fixing agent such as a silicone agent has a negative effect on the health of a worker due to a vaporizing chemical substance such as acetic acid contained in silicon, which causes a deterioration of the work ability of the worker and a cause of work avoidance. In addition, in the method of fixing by using the capacitor fixing member, an additional work is required to separately install the capacitor fixing member on the circuit board, and the cost for purchasing the capacitor fixing member is also increased.
In recent years, since the product has been shifted to a direction requiring thin and light chips, the diameter of the capacitor is gradually reduced and the length of the capacitor is increased to develop the capacitor in a direction to satisfy the impedance characteristic and the mounting height. Therefore, it is possible to impair the heat dissipation characteristics of the electrolytic capacitor by applying silicon to the majority of the side surfaces of the electrolytic capacitor, and there is a limit to the fabrication of the fixing member such as the capacitor fixing member.

Here, the
For example, a
The fixing
For example, a
The fixing

The fixing
Referring to FIG. 4, the fixing
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 and 8, the
2 to 4 and 8, the

Referring to FIG. 5, the

Referring to FIG. 6, a method of manufacturing a
In the step of molding the fixing protrusions 130 (see reference numeral 1), the fixing
The protruding
The fixing
In the step of coupling the fixing
When the fixing
The
Here, the
Therefore, the
Also, since the
FIG. 7 is a view showing a mounting structure of a
7 to 8, the same reference numerals as those shown in Figs. 1 to 6 denote the same members. Hereinafter, the description will be focused on the points different from the
7 to 8, the
The
