Description
The present invention relates to a high-speed laser soldering apparatus and a high-speed laser soldering method, and more particularly, to a high-speed laser soldering apparatus and a high-speed laser soldering method capable of continuously performing laser soldering on a plurality of work points, A soldering apparatus and a high speed laser soldering method.
In recent years, by using a laser in a soldering process, the time required for the process can be reduced compared to reflow soldering, and the thermal stress on the electronic component is minimized by soldering the laser beam to the portion to which the solder cream is applied .
As an example of such a laser soldering apparatus, reference can be made to Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 2009-0046368 (name: laser soldering apparatus and method, and manufacturing method of a power semiconductor module using the same) (hereinafter referred to as a prior art).
1, there is a solder dispenser (solder dispenser) for performing soldering of a solder cream on a portion to be contacted on a substrate to which an electronic component is mounted, A preheater for preheating the substrate, a plurality of laser heads for soldering the solder cream on the substrate by irradiating the laser beam, and a noxious gas generated when the solder cream is heated by the laser beam And an inspection unit for inspecting whether the solder cream is properly positioned and whether or not soldering is properly performed.
According to this conventional technique, the entire process from soldering to soldering can be automated and mass-produced. By irradiating and irradiating a laser beam to only the portion where the solder cream is dotted, the thermal stress is not given to other portions , The soldering process can be shortened by soldering the plurality of laser heads separately by dividing the soldering regions.
In addition, no improvement of the laser soldering process is proposed.

The base table 100 is provided with a

The
At this time, the point on the
In this configuration, the

The
In order to perform the laser soldering process in this manner, the
The
In order to perform the template matching process in this manner, the
In the laser soldering process, since the
Thus, the laser soldering process for one target part T can be completed at a high speed since at least one work point is photographed, the actual coordinates are calculated, and laser soldering is continuously performed on a plurality of work points .
For example, when four work points P1 to P4 are set in the target part T, in a general laser soldering apparatus, one work point is photographed with a camera to identify the position, laser soldering is performed on the work point , Four camera shots and position identification, and four laser soldering were performed in a manner that another work point was photographed with a camera and laser soldering was applied to the work point.
However, according to the high-speed laser soldering apparatus according to the present invention, laser soldering can be continuously performed on four target points (P1 to P4) after one shot of the target part (T) The processing speed can be greatly improved.

With respect to this relative movement, it is assumed that the

In this way, by adding another stage unit 110 ', while the one

5 is a view for explaining an example of a target component and an example of an image to be photographed. For example, it is possible to assume a target component T having a rectangular shape including an opening in the inside thereof, and having one working point P1 to P4 near each vertex. At this time, the rectangle (I) indicated by the dotted line at the lower right end of the target component T displays the image photographed by the
On the other hand, for the target component T, an arbitrary position is photographed, the photographed image is analyzed to identify which part of the target part T has been photographed, the work point is identified in the identified part, May be implemented to determine the actual position of the target component T relative to the work point.
6 is a diagram for explaining a template matching method. 6, when a part of the target part T is photographed by the
In the present invention, the image of the part to be initially photographed with respect to the target part T or the whole image of the target part is maintained as a template, and the method of comparing the template I with the image I photographed by the
The reference coordinates for the target component T can be defined based on the orientation of the template.
In the illustrated example, the target component T in the template is displaced in the X-axis direction by?, Shifted in the Y-axis direction by?, And is twisted by the angle?. In this state, since the position of the work point to be laser soldered is shifted from the reference position, the reference coordinates should be shifted in the X and Y axis directions by? And? .
7 is a view for explaining a process of an exemplary laser soldering process. Referring to the drawings, the actual coordinates calculated for the four work points P1 to P4 set in the target part T are obtained, and the laser beam is projected at an arbitrary work point (for example, P1) And then laser soldering is performed after shifting the position of the
According to such a soldering operation, the actual coordinates are obtained by acquiring an image of one of the first work points, and laser soldering is performed according to the calculated actual coordinates without needing to take a separate image with respect to the other work points. . Thereby, since the image photographing operation is not performed for every work point, the time taken by the photographing and analyzing procedure can be shortened.
As a further function provided by the laser soldering apparatus of the present invention, the function of determining solder scattering will be described with reference to Fig. FIG. 8 is a view for explaining the principle of judging whether or not the solder is scattered by taking a full image and a posterior image of the work point.
Fig. 8 (a) shows an image taken at an arbitrary work point among the target parts T, and shows a state before laser soldering (previous image). FIG. 8 (b) is a view of the work point taken again, showing the state after laser soldering (after image).
And the foreign material S1 is attached to one side of the target component T in the previous image. On the other hand, another image S2 is added to the post-image. The scattered solder S2 generated by the laser soldering process can be identified by generating the full image and the posterior image at the same point and determining the size or the attachment position of the scattered solder S2, It is possible to determine whether or not the laser soldering process is defective.
On the other hand, if the solder S2 scattered by the laser soldering occurs at a preset reference value or more, the
It is also possible to calculate the position offset of the
9 is a flowchart illustrating a high speed laser soldering method according to the present invention. The high-speed laser soldering method using the high-speed laser soldering apparatus having the above-described configuration is as follows.
(S10). First, the control unit of the laser soldering apparatus is provided with reference coordinates for one or a plurality of work points set on a target component to be worked (S10).
(S20). Subsequently, the control unit relatively moves the stage unit and the head unit, and photographs a part of the target part including the at least one work point, in particular, using the camera (S20).
The control unit identifies a work point from the photographed image to identify which part of the target part the photographed image is photographed (S30). At this time, instead of identifying the working point, it is possible to search a specific point such as the corner of the target part, or to search for a specific alignment mark formed in advance.
(S40). When the work point is identified, the template is compared with the photographed image of the target part including the relevant part to analyze how the target part is displaced from the template to a certain position (S40).
(S50). If the actual position is identified by the analysis, the actual coordinates are calculated by associating the reference coordinates with the actual positions (S50).
(S60).Then, based on the calculated actual coordinates, the laser beam is moved to one of the work points by relatively moving the stage portion and the head portion, laser soldering is performed, and laser soldering is sequentially performed on the adjacent work points ( S60).
When laser soldering for a plurality of work points set on one target part is completed, the camera is moved to the upper part of another target part, and steps S20 to S60 are repeatedly performed for the target part .
