Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a retroreflective sheet and a method of manufacturing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a retroreflective sheet capable of easily discharging high-temperature moisture in a fire extinguisher worn by a fire brigade, ≪ / RTI >
A retroreflective sheet is a reflector that includes a light-collecting layer and a reflective layer, and reflects the incident light in the incident direction. The retroreflective sheet is usually formed in a sheet form and is processed into a desired shape or pattern on the body surface of the adherend to be attached to a selected portion of a uniform such as a road sign or fire brigade by a method such as thermocompression or sewing to improve visibility So that the surrounding environment can be easily displayed even in a dark place. Therefore, when a retroreflective sheet is attached to clothes worn by people working on the road or at dangerous places, such as an environment cleaner, a firefighter, a police officer, a worker at a factory, a worker at a construction site, Can be reliably confirmed, and a great effect can be obtained on the protection and safety of the wearer.
However, when the retroreflective sheeting is applied to a fire extinguisher, it is possible to improve the visibility of the fire extinguisher to protect and safeguard firefighters. However, the retroreflective sheet is exposed to a high temperature during the fire, Severe damage to the skin of firefighters can cause burns.
Therefore, the retroreflective sheet applied to the fire suit was used by perforating a relatively large hole made of a needle punching hole, a laser punching hole, a slit, or a paper punch.
The retroreflective sheet according to the prior art has been applied to Patent No. 10-0901549 (entitled " vapor permeable retroreflective garment ").
A vapor permeable retroreflective garment to which a retroreflective sheet according to the prior art is applied comprises a first material; And a retroreflective material formed on a portion of the first material in accordance with a discontinuous pattern defining a retroreflective region and a non-retroreflective region, wherein the retroreflective material is formed through a portion of the first material formed of the retroreflective material The thermal attenuation is arranged according to the percentage of the non-retroreflective area in the discontinuous pattern and the size of the respective retroreflective area so that the reflective brightness of the retroreflective material is 50 cd / (lux. m < 2 >)).
Further, a method of manufacturing a vapor-permeable retroreflective garment to which a retroreflective sheet according to the related art is applied includes disposing a bead on a substrate; Coating the exposed surface of the bead with a reflective material; Applying an adhesive on the bead to produce a tape-like material; Cutting the discontinuous vapor permeable pattern within the tape-like material; Pressurizing a tape-like material having a discontinuous vapor permeable pattern on the fabric; Applying heat and pressure onto the tape-like material having a discontinuous vapor permeable pattern; And peeling off the substrate.
In the above-described conventional method, a retroreflective sheet to which a vapor permeable retroreflective garment is applied is coated with an adhesive on a reflective bead-coated bead to form a discontinuous vapor permeable pattern after the tape-like material is formed And is formed by cutting. In the above, the retroreflective sheet must be attached only to the selected portion except for the vapor permeable pattern on the cloth or the like, and therefore the retroreflective sheet must be separated into the size of the selected portion excluding the vapor permeable pattern. The tape-like material may be cut by a CAD or a laser to form a discontinuous vapor-permeable pattern, and the tape-like material of the cut portion may be removed and patterned.
However, the above-described prior art retroreflective sheeting has to be cut per pattern by CAD or laser to form a discontinuous vapor-permeable pattern in the tape-like material, and since the tape-like material of the cut-off portion must be removed, .
