This leads to the following problems.

- The adjustment of the 3-position disconnecting device shall be made in the final assembly line.

- The functional test of the 3-position disconnector device shall be made on the final assembly line.

- External sourcing (outsourcing) of a fully assembled disconnector device from a subcontractor is not possible.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to overcome all of these drawbacks with a compact construction that is easy to adjust prior to mounting.

A basic feature of the invention is that it comprises a base plate and a frame, said base plate and / or frame being mounted on a common functional unit (1), which can be mounted on the switchgear housing in such a way that it becomes part of the airtight housing of the switchgear functional three-position disconnector device is disposed in the functional unit.

To achieve this gastight closing of the housing, one possible solution is to either mount it in the housing followed by welding, or screw it with a sealing element around the opening of the housing in which the functional unit is located .

One embodiment of the invention is shown in the figures.

This saves assembly or mounting time due to better accessibility. In addition, the preassembled unit is easier to adjust before being mounted to the switchgear housing.

The base plate is fixed so that the housing is hermetically closed by the base plate. So only the base plate with its external busbar system is visible in Fig. The remaining components mounted on the base plate, as shown in Figure 1, extend inwardly of the housing and are hermetically closed by the base plate.

This hermetic closure can be realized by welding the base plate to the opening of the housing or by sealing.
