Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a metal nanoparticle synthesis apparatus, and more particularly, to a metal nanoparticle synthesis apparatus using a femtosecond or picosecond laser.
Techniques for preparing metal nanoparticles are required in many industrial fields (e.g., nanocatalysts, nanofiltration devices, supercapacitors, solar cells, etc.). Metal vacuum vaporization or metal ion reduction. Metal Vacuum Vaporization utilizes the phenomenon that metal atoms condense on a cold substrate and form metal nanoparticles through a process of gradual agglomeration. The metal ion reduction method utilizes the phenomenon that when metal ions are reduced using a reducing agent, metal atoms gathered together form metal nanoparticles.
In the case of nanoparticles, it is important to form nanoparticles of uniform size because their physico-chemical properties vary greatly depending on their sizes, and thus complicated processes are involved.
Recently, a method for synthesizing metal nanoparticles using a femtosecond laser has been proposed (see Non-Patent Document 1). A method of synthesizing bimetallic metal nanoparticles by irradiating a femtosecond laser pulse to an aqueous solution of a metal precursor. However, in the above method, a strong reaction occurs by introducing a high-intensity femtosecond laser pulse into the aqueous solution of the metal precursor contained in the water tank, so that the generated metal nanoparticles must coagulate. Therefore, a surfactant for preventing aggregation is essentially required. In addition, the nanoparticles produced by the above method have a problem in that they can not guarantee a uniform size of the nanoparticles because of their wide size distribution, and they are disadvantageous in terms of production yield because they can not be continuously processed.
Embodiments of the present invention provide a metal nanoparticle synthesizing apparatus capable of producing metal nanoparticles having a relatively uniform size with less agglomeration of metal nanoparticles produced without a separate surfactant and capable of continuous processing.

The first and
In the present invention, the flow rate of the
The
Ultrathreshold laser sources such as femtosecond or picosecond lasers generate ultrashort pulses of high peak power and are used in ultra high speed spectroscopy due to high pulse average power. Examples of such lasers include titanium sapphire lasers and the like, and the specific configuration of the laser oscillator or the laser irradiator corresponds to known contents, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
The
The
The
The

As described above, the apparatus for synthesizing metal nanoparticles according to the embodiments of the present invention is advantageous in terms of production amount by allowing metal nanoparticles to be produced in a continuous process.
