Abstract
The present invention is very simple to replace (insert and separate) a filter element by applying a structure to replace a filter element by sliding a sliding member against a rim of the filter element, and to make the rim of the filter element very close to the case The present invention relates to an air cleaner for a vehicle.
An air cleaner according to the present invention comprises: a case having an air inlet and an air outlet; A filter element installed in the case to filter air; And a sliding member provided slidably with respect to a rim of the filter element, wherein the lifting protrusion and the lifting groove are formed in a portion where the sliding member and the filter element are in contact with each other to correspond to the sliding operation of the sliding member, And the filter element is configured to move up and down.
Description
The present invention relates to an air cleaner for a vehicle, and more particularly, it relates to an air cleaner for a vehicle, in which replacement (insertion and removal) of a filter element is extremely simplified by applying a structure for replacing a filter element by sliding a sliding member against a rim of the filter element, To an air cleaner for a vehicle which is capable of closely fitting the rim of the element to the case in a very airtight manner.
Generally, automobiles generate power by mixing fuel and air and burning. That is, the fuel stored in the fuel tank of the automobile passes through various fuel supply devices, is mixed with the air introduced from the outside and is injected into the cylinder of the engine, and at the same time, the engine is operated while repeatedly sucking, compressing, As a result, the car gets power.
As described above, a certain amount of air is required to operate the engine, and the supply of such air flows from the outside of the vehicle. Air outside the vehicle flows into the air cleaner housing and is transferred to the intake manifold through the air intake hose connected to the air cleaner housing and supplied to the engine. The intake manifold is formed to allow air sucked from the outside through the air cleaner to pass through the filter to the opposite side. The dust and impurities contained in the air are filtered through the filter, and the purified air is supplied to the engine, To supply the necessary air.
The air cleaner includes a body having an air inlet formed at one side thereof, a cover coupled to an upper portion of the body and having a discharge port formed at one side thereof, and a filter element interposed between the body and the cover.
According to the structure of the air cleaner, when air flows into the air cleaner through the air intake port of the body, the introduced air is purified into the impurities through the filter element and then supplied to the engine through the exhaust port formed in the cover.
Since a large amount of impurities are adsorbed to the filter element when the air cleaner is used for a long period of time, the filter element installed in the body part and the cover part is replaced with a new filter element to filter the air after a predetermined time has elapsed.
On the other hand, in the conventional air cleaner for vehicles disclosed in Korean Patent No. 10-1318188, when the filter element installed on the body and the cover is replaced, eccentric cams of the height adjusting handle are rotated by gripping the handle of the height adjusting handle, The filter element is hermetically contacted to the body and the cover by raising the element upward so that the filter element is prevented from being shaken even when fluid pressure or vibration occurs in the air cleaner, thereby preventing occurrence of vibration sound.
However, even though the conventional air cleaner for a vehicle has a structure in which the handle is protruded from the end of the height adjusting handle, the narrow space between the cover and the body in the state where the filter element is inserted between the cover and the body, It is difficult to grasp the handle of the filter, and the rotation of the height adjustment handle is also not easy, so that it is very difficult to install the filter when replacing the filter element.
In addition, in the conventional air cleaner for a vehicle, the structure of the height adjusting handle and the structure for supporting and rotating the height adjusting handle is very complicated, so that the manufacturing cost is high and replacement of the filter element is troublesome.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been developed to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art as described above, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a method of replacing (inserting and separating) a filter element by applying a structure for replacing a filter element by sliding a sliding member against a rim of the filter element. Since the rim of the filter element can be brought into close contact with the case very tightly by the movement of the sliding member after inserting the filter element, it is possible to reliably prevent the sound of vibration due to the flow pressure, And more particularly, to an air cleaner for a vehicle which can more effectively prevent the occurrence of a leak sound due to leakage of air.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided an air cleaner including a filter element installed in a case having an air inlet and an air outlet, wherein the filter element includes a sliding member slidably installed on a side edge of the filter element And the lifting protrusion and the lifting groove are formed to correspond to each other at a portion where the sliding member and the filter element are in contact with each other, so that the sliding movement of the sliding member moves the filter element up and down to selectively close it.
A plurality of first lifting projections and a first lifting grooves are continuously formed on the upper surface of the sliding member, and a plurality of second lifting projections and second lifting grooves are formed continuously on the rim of the filter element .
The case includes an upper case having an assembling groove into which the rim of the filter element is inserted at both side edges thereof; And a lower case having supporting rims for supporting lower surfaces of the sliding members on both side edges thereof, wherein the upper case and the lower case are assembled in a disassemblable manner with respect to each other.
The sliding member has a shape elongated in the longitudinal direction, and the sliding member is slidably installed between the rim of the filter element and the supporting jaw of the lower case.
The first and second lifting projections, the first lifting grooves, the second lifting grooves, and the second lifting grooves push the sliding member inward of the case or pull outward in the case, And is brought into close contact with the horizontal plane of the assembly groove of the case.
The first elevating projection, the first elevating groove, the second elevating projection, and the second elevating groove each have an inclined surface on the front side and the rear side, respectively.
The filter element includes a filter frame surrounding the filter paper and the filter paper, and a sealing member is provided at the edge of the filter frame.
The sliding member has a flat surface adjacent to the side wall of the filter element at one side thereof and a curved surface at the other side thereof. The guide part of the filter element extends downward at the rim of the filter element, And is formed so as to be curved so as to correspond to the curved surface.
The sliding member may have a handle formed at one end thereof, and a part of the handle may have an insert portion inserted into one end of the sliding member.
The handle may be formed in a thin and flat shape or in a ring shape.
At least one pair of guide ribs protruding outwardly from the sliding member and at least one pair of guide ribs spaced apart from each other so as to form a locking gap in the rim of the filter element corresponding to the locking protrusion extend downward.
According to the present invention, the replacement (insertion and separation) of the filter element can be carried out very easily by applying the structure of replacing the filter element by pushing and pulling the sliding member against the rim of the filter element. The rim of the filter element can be closely adhered to the case in a very airtight manner by the movement of the sliding member, thereby making it possible to reliably prevent the sound of vibration due to the flow pressure and further effectively prevent the leakage sound due to air leakage There are advantages to be able to.
