Abstract
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a flux-charging wire, and more particularly, to a charging heat flux-charging wire for electrogas arc welding.
Electro gas arc welding is a high efficiency welding method that can weld steel plates of 10 mm or more in a single pass. It is a welding technique that can maximize the productivity more than general flux flux charging wires in the construction of shipbuilding and large storage tank structures .
In recent years, as the amount of low-temperature steel sheet used is increased to 40 mm or more, the number of heat input welds of 200 to 250 kJ / cm is increasing. When the heat input is less than 200 kJ / cm 2, the weld metal of FIG. 2 (a) is enlarged and observed, and is uniformly distributed throughout the ferrite phase. (a) is observed at a high magnification, it has 70 to 80% by weight of acicular ferrite (AF) phase in the whole ferrite phase, thereby satisfying the mechanical performance required for the welded structure. However, if the heat input of the weld increases to 250 kJ / cm or more, the ferrite fraction of the needle-shaped ferrite decreases as the primary ferrite (PF) grows as shown in FIG. 2 (b) The impact toughness is sharply lowered and the mechanical performance is not satisfied.
In order to solve this problem, there is a technique of adding 1.5 wt% or more of nickel (Ni), titanium (Ti) in the range of 200 ppm to 300 ppm, and boron (B) in the range of 20 ppm to 40 ppm to the weld metal tissue chemical component, There was no effect of refinement of metallurgical structure of the welded part and primary ferrite growth inhibition.

The
Table 1 is a table showing the composition of the forced
Table 4 shows the results of evaluating the mechanical performance of the weld metal. The impact toughness was evaluated as good when the impact toughness was at least -70 Joule at -60 캜, the tensile strength was 550-700 MPa, and the elongation was 20% or higher.
As can be seen from Table 4, in Examples 1 to 22 satisfying the flux composition of the present invention, impact toughness, tensile strength, and elongation can be secured, which is a target of the present invention. However, in Comparative Examples 1 to 23, which were out of the flux composition range of the present invention, no welding was observed or at least one of the impact toughness, tensile strength and elongation of the weld metal was unsatisfactory.
In more detail, in Comparative Examples 1 to 6, it was confirmed whether low temperature impact toughness could be ensured in the case of using FeZr in place of FeSiZr. In the case of using FeZr, no satisfactory impact toughness was obtained. In addition, the content of flux compounds such as magnesium, molybdenum, manganese, titanium and the like in the components of Comparative Examples 1 to 6 was evaluated and evaluated. However, unsatisfactory results such as poor welding quality, impact toughness and elongation percentage were unsatisfactory.
In Comparative Examples 7 to 12, ZrO 2 was used instead of FeSiZr. The use of zirconium oxide has produced the worst results among the experimental examples in terms of low temperature impact toughness. Even though the content of flux compounds such as fluorine, calcium and the like was adjusted in Comparative Examples 7 to 12, impact toughness did not satisfy the criteria required in the present invention.
Comparative Examples 13 to 18 used FeSiZr as in some embodiments of the present invention. Even if FeSiZr is used, impact toughness and elongation deviate from the target range when the silicon content is increased as in Comparative Example 13. Comparative Example 14 is similar to Example 2 of the present invention, however, when the titanium content is doubled, the impact toughness is insufficient and the tensile strength is exceeded, thereby deviating from the aimed range of the present invention. Also, in Comparative Example 15 and Comparative Example 16, even if the same FeSiZr content as in Comparative Example 14 is deviated from the range of Examples of the present invention, if the content of carbon, manganese and titanium is out of the range of the present invention, impact toughness, Bring it. In Comparative Example 17, when the carbon content is out of the content range of the present invention, impact toughness and elongation are satisfied, but the tensile strength is out of the range required by the present invention. Except for the content range of FeSiZr according to the present invention, Comparative Example 18 deviates from the mechanical performance range required for the present invention.
In Comparative Examples 19 to 23, zirconium (Zr) was used. Zirconium exhibited the desired mechanical properties in Examples 7 to 11 and Examples 18 to 22. In Comparative Example 19, the content of titanium was increased to 2% by weight, so that the impact toughness satisfied the target value unlike Comparative Example 14 and Comparative Example 15 but the tensile strength and elongation were not satisfied with the aimed results. Comparative Example 20 and Comparative Example 23 did not satisfy the results of aiming at one or more of impact toughness, tensile strength and elongation as nickel was out of the scope of the present invention. In Comparative Example 21 and Comparative Example 22, since the content of boron is out of the range of the present invention, if the content of boron is large, all of the impact toughness, tensile strength, and elongation rate targets of the present invention are not satisfied. Otherwise, without the boron content, the desired tensile strength and elongation of the present invention are satisfied but the impact toughness is not satisfied.
