BACKGROUND OF THE

Further, the fuel cell system is characterized in that all of the components are completely solid, and that a high power generation efficiency can be obtained. In addition, since a solid ceramic having ion conductivity is often used as the electrolyte, there is a high degree of freedom in its shape, and the shape of a single cell is a flat plate type and a cylindrical type.

The

Conventionally, materials such as a metal mesh, an expand metal, and a porous metal have been used as a current collector for a solid oxide fuel cell. However, as described below, the material has insufficient elasticity, and when it is used repeatedly, the contact state changes due to the thermal expansion of the MEA cell or the separator, and the power generation efficiency is deteriorated.
9 shows changes in the voltage (V) and the output (W) corresponding to the current (A) value by the thermal cycle in the case where the conventional current collector is used. It can be seen that the voltage V and the output W fall in the second cycle as compared to the first cycle.
10 shows changes in stack voltage (V) and degradation rate (%) due to the number of thermal cycles when a conventional current collector is used. It can be seen that as the number of thermal cycles increases, the voltage V decreases and the deterioration rate (%) calculated from the current value and the voltage value increases.
When the air electrode and the fuel electrode of the MEA cell are directly sandwiched by the separator, the planarity can not be ensured due to roughness of the surface facing the separator or the MEA cell, warping or twisting of the surface, and the like. As a result, electrical resistance is generated at the interface between the separator and the MEA cell, and as a result, the power generation performance of the fuel cell deteriorates.
Further, when the metal separator and the ceramic MEA cell are subjected to a thermal cycle, the MEA cell may be cracked due to a difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the metal separator and the MEA cell. At this time, electrical resistance is generated on the contact surface between the separator and the MEA cell, and as a result, the power generation performance of the fuel cell deteriorates.
Further, materials such as a metal mesh, an expand metal, and a porous metal are used as the current-collecting material of the solid oxide fuel cell. However, the above materials have insufficient elasticity, and when used repeatedly, the MEA cell or the separator ) Is changed due to the thermal expansion of the fuel cell, so that the power generation efficiency is lowered.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a current collecting member for a fuel cell which solves this problem by improving the electrical connection between the MEA cell and the separator and improving the power generation efficiency and cycle characteristics of the fuel cell.
In order to achieve the above object,
The fuel cell current collector according to the present invention is characterized in that the air electrode and the fuel electrode of the MEA cell of the planar solid oxide fuel cell are respectively on the surfaces facing the separator and the flat metal- , And is sandwiched and pressed between the electrode and the separator.
Due to the above-described configuration, due to the elasticity of the current collector by the metal fiber knit formed by squeezing the metal, that is, the restoring force characteristic that the deformed metal fiber knit is going to return to the original shape, It is possible to improve the electrical connection between the MEA cell and the separator by bringing the air electrode and the fuel electrode to be formed into close contact with the separator opposing each electrode.
In order to achieve the above object,

According to the above-described configuration, the current collector for the fuel cell is wound around the cathode-side current collector and the anode-side current collector to the cylindrical fuel cell to draw out the current line from each current collector to constitute the circuit, Efficiency can be increased.

From this, it is possible to form the metal fiber knit with the optimum material on the air electrode side and the fuel electrode side of the fuel cell.

The metal fiber knit used as the cathode side
It is the basic structure of the upper part of the rubber, and it is characterized by the knit nose being vertically connected by the knit with the purl nose after the nail. The rubber sheet is widely used as a structure of a cuff or a hem because it has high stretchability and particularly excellent stretchability in the width direction. On the other hand, double-sided knitting is characterized by being knit noses like the inside and outside, which are made by repeated knitting of rubber. The double-faced knitting does not have the stretchability as much as the rubber knitting, but it has good texture.
Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 show the deformation (distortion) amount when a load is added to a sample of various current collectors. Table 1 shows a sample of the current collector measuring the deformation (distortion) amount.
2 is a measurement result of the current collector according to the present invention, in which the horizontal axis represents the load and the vertical axis represents the deformation (distortion) amount. In any sample, the amount of deformation increases with an increase in load, and the amount of deformation decreases with decreasing load. From this result, it can be seen that the two-side milling of
On the other hand, FIG. 3 shows measurement results of a conventional current collector, in which the abscissa represents the load and the ordinate represents the deformation (distortion) amount. The amount of deformation is extremely small except for the etching press of the heat-resistant alloy (M)
Fig. 4 shows the resistance value (ASR) per unit area when the pressure (bar) is changed in the sample of the current collector for the fuel cell.
From the above results, it can be seen that the current collector according to the present invention has a stronger elastic force when applied with pressure than the conventional current collector, and the resistance value per unit area shows a constant value regardless of the pressure. Fig. 5 shows a schematic configuration of one embodiment of the
Further, as shown in Fig. 5B, the negative electrode side
Thus, the cathode side current collecting
