Description
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a transducer, and more particularly, to a method of manufacturing a transducer for use in an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus or the like for acquiring image information inside an object using ultrasonic waves, and a transducer manufactured by the method .
The contents described in this section merely provide background information on the embodiment of the present invention and do not constitute the prior art.
As is well known, the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus transmits an ultrasonic signal to a diagnostic region of a subject by a probe, and then receives an ultrasonic signal reflected from a tissue boundary in the subject having different acoustic impedances by a probe , Thereby acquiring image information of the diagnosis site. Such image information is outputted to the monitor of the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, and the diagnosis person can perform the diagnosis on the subject through the image information outputted to the monitor. The probe is provided with a transducer for transmitting an ultrasonic signal to a subject and receiving an ultrasonic signal reflected from the subject.
Generally, a transducer has a structure in which a piezoelectric layer, a matching layer, and the like are laminated on a backing material. The piezoelectric layer may be formed of a piezoelectric element made only of a piezoelectric material, or formed of a piezoelectric composite material in which a polymer material is combined with a piezoelectric element to improve ultrasonic transmission / reception performance. In a typical manufacturing process of a transducer, a sound-absorbing layer, an electrode layer, a piezoelectric layer, a ground layer, and a matching layer are laminated at a time, dicing for channel separation, and then a lens is formed. However, since there is a limit in beam steering in the direction of dynamic focusing and elevation, when a transducer is manufactured by the above-described method in the case of manufacturing a multi-row type transducer, It must go through. First, an electrode layer and a sound-absorbing layer are laminated in order on one surface of a piezoelectric element. Thereafter, the piezoelectric element is first subjected to a dicing process for channel separation, and then the polymer is charged. After the polymer is filled as described above, the ground layer and the matching layer are laminated in order, and after the second dicing step, the polymer is filled and the lens is formed.
However, as described above, when the piezoelectric composite is manufactured, it is very difficult to dice the piezoelectric element in order to prevent the electrode layer from being damaged during the primary dicing process, resulting in a high incidence of defects. Further, since the dicing progresses in a state where the precision is not ensured, there is a problem that it is difficult to secure the flatness of the diced slit. Further, since the work of laminating a plurality of materials before and after the dicing process is performed several times, it takes a lot of processing time and cost to manufacture the transducer.
The present invention can easily dice the piezoelectric body without damaging the electrode layer, and can carry out the transfer and lamination process of the piezoelectric body in a state in which the flatness of the piezoelectric body is secured, thereby minimizing the defective occurrence rate while increasing the productivity And to provide a transducer manufactured by the method.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing a transducer, the method comprising: attaching a sacrificial layer temporarily fixed to a piezoelectric body on one side of the piezoelectric body to perform a carrier function; Forming a first slit by dicing the first slit, removing the sacrificial layer, and forming a laminated unit by sequentially laminating a ground layer and a matching layer on one surface of the piezoelectric material from which the sacrificial layer is removed Forming a second slit by dicing the laminated unit in a second direction intersecting with the first direction to be recessed in the direction of the piezoelectric body in the matching layer to form a second slit; And charging.
According to the present invention, the primary dicing is performed while the piezoelectric body is attached to the sacrificial layer in the process of manufacturing the transducer, so that the channel separation operation of the piezoelectric body can be performed more simply and stably, The inspection of the dicing result can be simplified, and the defect detection can be performed more reliably.
In addition, since the conventional lamination process can be carried out in one step at the same time, the time required for the lamination process can be reduced, and productivity and cost reduction can be expected.

Referring to FIG. 1, a transducer manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: A step S101 of attaching a
2 to 9, a method of manufacturing a transducer according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail as follows.
Step S101 is a step of attaching the
Accordingly, the
In step S102, the
Conventionally, after the
For reference, the
In step S103, the
On the other hand, the sound-absorbing
Step S104 is a step of removing the
In step S105, the
In step S106, the
The
In step S108, The
Step S109 is a step of filling the

10, a method of manufacturing a transducer according to another embodiment of the present invention includes a step of attaching a
A method of manufacturing a transducer according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 11 to 18. FIG. Hereinafter, the differences from the above-described embodiment will be mainly described.
Step S101 is a step of attaching the
According to the present invention, the
In step S102, the
In step S104, the
In step S105, the
In step S106, the
In this case, the
In step S107, the process of cutting both sides of the
In step S108, The
Step S109 is a step of filling the

According to the method according to another embodiment of the present invention as described above, since the first dicing is performed while the
