Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
Steam used in boilers and heat exchangers is transported through piping, which inevitably results in condensation due to the temperature difference between the piping and the area in contact with the piping, which not only lowers thermal efficiency but also causes water hammer and should be removed . The equipment used to remove this condensate is a steam trap.
Various types of conventional steam traps are used depending on the operating structure thereof, but disk-type steam traps are generally used. As shown in FIG. 1, the disk-type steam trap has an
The disk-type steam trap of this configuration is constructed such that the condensed water flows from the
When the condensate is discharged, the steam behind the condensed water is introduced. When the steam is introduced, the pressure of the lower part of the
Steam traps are designed to discharge condensate automatically as this process is repeated. To increase thermal efficiency, steam traps need to be designed to automatically discharge and remove only condensate without discharging steam.
However, when the condensed water generated in the steam pipe flows into the steam trap body, the steam is also mixed with the steam. In this case, there is a problem in terms of structure, that is, the inlet side where the condensed water flows in, There is a problem in that the condensation water is discharged when the condensed water is discharged together with the steam when the condensed water is discharged.
In addition, there is a problem that foreign substances are adhered to the periphery of the disk or the disk is worn out, and steam is leaked due to the contact failure between the disk and the passage, and the thermal efficiency is lowered.
In order to solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to substantially obviate the discharge of steam together with discharge of condensed water, to prevent foreign matter from adhering to the disk, to significantly reduce the wear of the disk, The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a steam trap having a significantly improved thermal efficiency.
The steam trap of the present invention has a passage for allowing the condensed water to flow through the inlet and to be discharged through the outlet, and a disk is installed at the upper portion of the passage to open and close the passage,
Characterized in that a nozzle having a plurality of fine holes is provided in the passage or the inlet,
In addition, a strainer is installed in front of the passageway or at the rear of the inlet, a variable pressure chamber is provided at an upper end of the disc so that the disc can be moved up and down,
The nozzle has a plurality of fine holes formed in an integral body,
Wherein the nozzle is integrally formed by a plurality of tubular bodies having a single fine hole,
The fine holes of the nozzle have a diameter of 0.3 to 0.5 mm, a length of 3.0 to 5.0 mm, and a number of holes of 100 to 300 /
The present invention makes it possible to selectively discharge only condensed water by using nozzles having fine holes formed so as to pass only condensed water, and it is possible to significantly reduce the leakage of steam discharged together with the steam,
Since the condensed water passes through the fine holes of the nozzle, foreign matter can not pass therethrough and foreign matter does not adhere to the disk, thereby reducing the wear of the disk.
Further, since the nozzle serves also as a strainer, a separate strainer is not required, which simplifies the body and reduces manufacturing cost.

The present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 3, the

The reason why the

The diameter of the
If the length of the fine holes is limited to 3.0 to 5.0 mm, it may take a long time to discharge the condensate if the diameter exceeds 5.0 mm. If the diameter is 3.0 mm or less, the discharge of condensed water may be accelerated, ego,
The number of fine holes is limited to 100 to 300 pieces / c㎡ because if the number of the fine holes is more than 300, the discharge of the condensed water occurs quickly, and if the number of the fine holes is less than 100, the condensed water is stagnated and the discharge efficiency of the condensed water drops.
Hereinafter, the operation of the present invention configured as described above will be described in detail.
The condensed water generated in the steam pipe flows to the

When the condensed water is discharged, the steam flows in. When the steam flows, the pressure of the lower portion of the
Condensate is discharged through this process.
