Abstract
The present invention relates to a polyester-based film for a release film of a green sheet, and more particularly, a base composition comprising a polyester resin and alumina coated spherical silica particles is coextruded to prepare a single layer film, but alumina coating The present invention relates to a polyester base film for a release sheet of a green sheet having an effect of improving adhesiveness and scratch resistance by controlling surface roughness and roughness through surface design utilizing spherical silica particles, and a method of manufacturing the same.
Description
본 발명은 평균입경이 0.2 내지 0.5 μm인 알루미나 코팅된 구상 실리카 입자 및 폴리에스테르 수지를 포함하는, 이형필름용 폴리에스테르 기재필름 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
The present invention relates to a polyester base film for a release film and a method for producing the same, comprising alumina coated spherical silica particles having a mean particle diameter of 0.2 to 0.5 μm and a polyester resin.
폴리에스테르 필름은 기계적 강도, 치수 안정성, 평탄성, 내열성, 내약품성 및 광학 특성 등이 우수하고, 비용 대비 효과가 뛰어나기 때문에 다양한 용도로 활용되고 있다. 특히 세라믹 적층 콘덴서에 적용되는 그린시트 성형용 이형필름으로서 폴리에스테르 필름을 기재로 하는 이형필름이 많이 사용되고 있다. Polyester films are used in various applications because of their excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability, flatness, heat resistance, chemical resistance and optical properties, and excellent cost-effectiveness. In particular, a release film based on a polyester film is widely used as a release film for forming a green sheet applied to a ceramic multilayer capacitor.
In recent years, as the miniaturization, high performance, and high precision of ceramic multilayer capacitors progress, the thickness of the release film itself tends to become thinner. However, as the thickness of the release film, in particular, the thickness of the release layer becomes thinner, the quality of the release film, in particular, the breakage of the ceramic green sheet and pinholes are generated during peeling due to the surface defects of the release film. Is a very important factor.
In general, in order to control the surface roughness of the release film, inorganic particles or organic polymer particles are used in the release layer. In this case, since the size of the particles is relatively large compared to the release layer of the thin film, limited use should be made in consideration of surface defects. do. If the surface roughness of the release film is too low, the adhesiveness is excellent, but problems such as scratches may occur, and there is a high possibility of blocking, transfer, etc. in the process, which causes abnormalities in the ceramic green sheet thin film process. Becomes On the other hand, if the roughness of the release film is too high, there is a high possibility that pinholes due to the height difference of the surface.
최근 고성능의 유,무기 입자들을 활용한 적층형 이형필름이 제조되고 있으나 고성능의 유무기 입자 적층으로 다양한 기능성을 부여하는 장점은 있으나 각 층마다 다른 입자를 분포시켜 놓았기 때문에 다른 표면 조도로 인한 눌림, 전사 문제와 원료의 재활용이 원활하지 않은 단점이 있다.
Recently, a laminated release film using high-performance organic and inorganic particles has been manufactured, but there is an advantage of providing various functionalities by stacking high-performance organic and inorganic particles, but because different particles are distributed in each layer, pressing due to different surface roughness, There are disadvantages in terms of transcription and poor recycling of raw materials.

The present invention relates to a polyester base film for a release film that can be applied to a release film of a green sheet, characterized in that it comprises alumina coated spherical silica particles and polyester resin having an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 0.5 μm.
본 발명에 따른 이형필름용 폴리에스테르 기재필름은, 폴리에스테르 기재 수지에 일정 조건의 알루미나 코팅된 실리카 입자를 배합하여 필름으로 성형함으로써 제조될 수 있으며, 이때 상기 알루미나 코팅된 실리카 입자의 입경 및 함량 조절, 크기가 다른 실리카 입자들와의 혼합 등을 통하여 기재필름의 물성을 조절할 수 있다.
The polyester base film for release film according to the present invention may be prepared by blending alumina coated silica particles in a predetermined condition into a polyester base resin and molding into a film, wherein the particle size and content of the alumina coated silica particles are controlled. In addition, the physical properties of the base film may be controlled through mixing with silica particles having different sizes.
In general, finely pulverized silica particles have the advantage of increasing the effective peak number, preventing scratches, and improving runability. However, too fine silica particles do not form protrusions on the surface, causing scratches. It is very important to control the size of the silica particles because of the disadvantages such as poor winding. In the present invention, alumina coated spherical silica particles use alumina coated silica particles having an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 0.5 μm, preferably 0.3 μm.

However, in the present invention, by adding alumina coated spherical silica particles smaller than the inorganic particles used in the prior art, that is, the average particle diameter of 0.2 to 0.5 μm, to the polyester resin, to form a low surface roughness of the film to increase the adhesion, By increasing the number of effective peaks of the film to improve the slip (slip) properties to facilitate the film manufacturing process and improve the appearance problems such as scratches. In addition, it is possible to suppress the generation of large particles due to aggregation. In addition, the adhesive strength with polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin, polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) resin, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin, polybutylene naphthalate (PBN) resin, etc., which are disadvantages of conventional silica, are improved. It is possible to prevent the falling off of the wear resistance is also excellent and has the advantage of scratches during driving.

상기 표 2에서 나타난 바와 같이, 2.0㎛의 두께로 캐스팅한 경우 실리콘 이형가공성에서 큰 차이가 없었지만, 고기능 적층 세라믹 콘덴서(MLCC)용에 적합한 수준인1.0㎛의 두께로 캐스팅 가공할 경우에는 본원 발명에 따른 폴리에스테르 기재필름이 비교예에 따른 필름보다 우수한 가공성을 나타냄을 알 수 있다. As shown in Table 2, when casting to a thickness of 2.0㎛ there was no significant difference in the silicon release processability, but when casting to a thickness of 1.0㎛ that is suitable for high-performance multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) casting process in the present invention It can be seen that the polyester base film according to the present invention exhibits superior processability than the film according to the comparative example.
In the case of Comparative Example 1, the addition of a small amount of silica particles did not properly form the surface, so it was determined that problems such as scratching and transferring occurred. In the case of Comparative Example 3, the silica particles were too small to form effective protrusions Problems such as scratches and transfers have occurred. In addition, in the case of having silica particles having a large particle size as in Comparative Example 4, a large protrusion is generated, thereby resulting in coating defects during processing. Therefore, the polyester base film of the present invention exhibiting excellent processability and scratchability can be usefully used as a release film for high performance ceramic green sheet.
또한 비교예 5와 같은 탄산칼슘입자는 응집이 일어난 입자가 필름 표면에 공극을 형성하여 코팅성이 매우 불량하게 나타났다.In addition, in the calcium carbonate particles as in Comparative Example 5, the agglomerated particles formed voids on the surface of the film, resulting in very poor coating properties.
