Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a composite magnetic bearing equipped with a radial auxiliary bearing.
For parts with movements such as rotation or reciprocation (rotation axis, moving shaft, etc.), it is possible to solve problems such as part wear or damage, noise, energy waste, etc. which may be caused by friction during the movement of the part. In order to provide a variety of bearings. Commonly used bearings include sliding bearings and rolling bearings. The sliding bearings are formed around the shaft so that lubricating oil is interposed in contact with the bearings. Rotatable parts, such as balls and rollers, are placed in contact with the bearings to minimize friction.
These bearings, which are widely used in classical applications, must come into contact with the shaft regardless of any part. The magnetic bearings which minimize the friction by preventing contact with the shaft have recently been expanded in various fields. It is going. As shown in Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 2009-0070178 ("Cylindrical radial displacement measurement system of magnetic bearing using electrostatic capacity, and method for determining the failure thereof ", 2009.07.01), magnetic bearings have a strong magnetism around the shaft A magnet or an electromagnet is arranged in the belt so as to serve as a bearing by floating the shaft by magnetic levitation. Since the magnetic bearing has no contact with the shaft and the friction is zero, there is no abrasion or damage of the parts, so there are many advantages such as high durability and very little noise. However, rather than being designed to substantially support the shaft with a magnetic bearing alone, it is common to further include an auxiliary bearing in direct contact form for more stable shaft support.
Figure 1 shows a rotor equipped with a conventional magnetic bearing system. 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and
The radial magnetic bearings 3 and 6 are actuated to support the rotor 1 by magnetic levitation when the entire rotor and magnetic bearing system is in normal operation. However, when the system is stopped, no electric power is supplied to the radial magnetic bearings 3 and 6, so that no magnetic force is generated. Therefore, the rotor 1 can not be supported. Therefore, A radial auxiliary bearing 4 (7) in the form of a general contact bearing such as a ball bearing or the like is provided. The radial
The rotor 1 is designed to increase its length by the volume occupied by the radial
Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the problems of the prior art as described above, an object of the present invention is to provide a radial auxiliary bearing coupled to the magnetic bearing to minimize the length and system volume of the rotor, It is to provide a composite magnetic bearing provided. Another object of the present invention is to provide a composite magnetic bearing with a radial auxiliary bearing, which proposes a structure of a new radial auxiliary bearing that can be coupled to a magnetic bearing. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a composite magnetic bearing with a radial auxiliary bearing, which further enhances the concentricity holding force of the magnetic bearing by the radial auxiliary bearing coupled to the magnetic bearing.
The composite magnetic bearing provided with the radial auxiliary bearing of the present invention for achieving the above object is a radial magnetic composite
At this time, the
In addition, the
In addition, the composite
According to the present invention, a rotor having both a non-contact magnetic bearing and a contact auxiliary bearing is provided with a magnetic bearing in a form in which an auxiliary bearing is provided therein. There is an effect of reducing the rotor length as much as possible to secure. By minimizing the rotor length in this way, it is possible to reduce the volume of the entire system. In addition, according to the present invention, as the rotor length is reduced as compared to the prior art, the dangerous speed due to the bending mode of the rotor is higher than that of the conventional art, and thus, the rotor can be stably operated.
In particular, according to the present invention, by presenting a new structure of a radial auxiliary bearing, rather than a structure such as a ball bearing conventionally used as an auxiliary bearing, in the case of a bearing having a structure such as a conventional ball bearing, it is very structurally coupled to a magnetic bearing. There is a big effect to eliminate the problem that was difficult at the source. That is, the structure of the radial auxiliary bearing proposed in the present invention is very easy to combine with the magnetic bearing. Therefore, according to the present invention, there is an effect that greatly improves the ease of design and production convenience of the magnetic bearing combined with the auxiliary bearing.
In addition, according to the present invention, by the structure of the auxiliary bearing of the present invention, the auxiliary bearing not only serves as an auxiliary rotor support but also has an effect of stably maintaining the concentricity of the magnetic bearing. More specifically, in order for the bearing effect to appear correctly in the magnetic bearing, concentricity conditions of each component must be achieved. In reality, there is a problem that the concentricity is distorted by the assembly tolerance and the component machining tolerance. However, as the auxiliary bearing of the present invention is coupled to the magnetic bearing, the structural stability of the magnetic bearing is increased, and ultimately, the concentricity holding force of the magnetic bearing is further enhanced.

The composite magnetic bearing 100 according to the present invention is basically provided around the
First, the operation of the
At this time, it is preferable that the
At this time, as described above, generally, when the
Of course, if the
In order to avoid such a problem, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, an auxiliary bearing is further provided on the rotor separately from the magnetic bearing (corresponding to the magnetic bearing 110). However, when the auxiliary bearing is separately provided, the following problems further arise. First, in order to secure a space in which the auxiliary bearing can be provided on the rotor, the length of the rotor must be increased by at least the length of the auxiliary bearing, thereby increasing the volume of the entire system. In addition, as the length of the rotor increases, the tendency of occurrence of bending in the rotor increases, and the dangerous speed value, which is the limit speed that can be stably rotated in the bending mode, is lowered. As a result, there arises a problem that the operating speed range in which the rotor rotates stably is reduced.
In the present invention, the
The
As such, in the present invention, the
Advantages obtained by the
As can be seen from the description of the principle of operation of the
In addition, at this time, the composite
In the present invention, the
5 is a comparison of rotors with conventional magnetic bearing systems and composite magnetic bearings of the present invention. As briefly described above, the biggest feature of the composite
In the present invention, the magnetic bearing 110 (originally without the auxiliary bearing 120) has an original free space therein. Therefore, the
When the bearing is installed on the rotor, the effect of unnecessarily increasing the length of the bearing only for the installation of the bearing is eliminated. Therefore, the
As described above, the longer the length of the
