Description
The present invention relates to a tuning fork-type gyroscope having an internal sensing electrode, and more particularly, to the vibration mode of the direction in which two symmetrical masses face the exterior of the sensing structure, that is, the vibration of the tuning fork mode. A tuning fork type vibration gyroscope having an internal sensing electrode that minimizes disturbance caused by vibration.
In general, a gyroscope is used as a sensor for detecting an angular velocity according to the rotation of a moving object. The type of gyroscope includes a mechanical gyro and a vibrating gyro depending on the type of force applied. In addition, the vibrating gyro may include a ceramic gyro and a micro electro-mechanical system (MEMS) type gyro using a semiconductor manufacturing process technology according to a manufacturing process. The horizontal gyro is divided into a horizontal gyro and a vertical gyro according to the direction of the force acting in the vibrating gyro. The horizontal gyro uses coriolis force in a horizontal plane and a horizontal direction of speed, and the vertical gyro Use Coriolis force in the direction perpendicular to the horizontal plane of speed.
Koriolri-force used in the vibrating gyro can be obtained by the formula "Fc = 2mΩV", where "m" is the weight of the moving object, "Ω" is the angular velocity, "V" Is the speed. The direction of the Coriolis force Fc is determined by the speed V axis and the rotation axis of the angular speed Ω.
On the other hand, such a vibrating gyro is largely composed of a fixed structure and a vibration structure, wherein the vibration structure includes a structure for the excitation and the structure for sensing, the excitation structure is a magnetic force to vibrate the vibration structure to form a sensing condition in the excitation mode It is a structure for resonating by oscillation, and the sensing structure is a structure for resonating the vibration structure by the Coriolis force (F) acting in the direction perpendicular to the angular acceleration corresponding to the shaking of the moving object. Here, the resonance of the excitation mode and the resonance of the sensing mode are made in the vertical direction, and the size of the capacitor is measured according to the size of the Coriolis force (Fc). In order to improve the sensing capability in such a vibrating gyro, the motion in the excitation mode should be large and the sensitivity in the sensing mode should be good.
In the sensing mode, a gyroscope voltage detection method includes a method of measuring a capacitance corresponding to a Coriolis force and changing it into a voltage, and a rebalance method of measuring a voltage required to suppress the motion caused by the Coriolis force. .
The vibrating gyro is applied to screen stabilization of a digital imaging device, a roll-over airbag device for a vehicle, a vehicle navigation device, a navigation device for a short-range guided missile, and the like.
On the other hand, in constructing a vibrating gyro, the gyro is a sensor for measuring the angular velocity in a certain direction, so the response should be insensitive to the angular velocity or motion other than the direction to be measured. It is called Cross Talk or Cross Sensitivity, and the sensor that measures physical quantity minimizes the value and regulates it to below a certain value in the product specification.
Hereinafter, a conventional micro gyroscope will be described.
1 is a plan view of a conventional horizontal micro gyroscope. Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional horizontal
As shown in FIG. 1, the conventional micro gyroscope associated with this technique is excited using the
However, vibration type micro gyroscopes manufactured by conventional MEMS technology are sensitive to external vibrations and noises in practical use. In particular, when the gyroscope is interfered by external vibration, accurate angular velocity is difficult to measure. In the above-described conventional horizontal micro gyroscope, when the vibration in the X direction or the Y direction is applied from the outside, the operation of the gyroscope affects the error of the external vibration in addition to the signal to be detected at the output of the gyroscope. There was a problem that occurred.
The present invention was devised to solve such a problem, and the same mass facing each other vibrates in the tuning fork mode in the opposite direction, so that the external vibration is relatively canceled to obtain an accurate angular velocity output. Its purpose is to provide a tuning fork-type gyroscope.
According to one aspect of the tuning fork-type gyroscope having an internal sensing electrode according to the present invention for achieving the above object, the anchor portion fixedly disposed in the center; A driving unit generating a constant power by an applied voltage; A mass part connected to the anchor part by a plurality of elastic members, the mass part including a first mass body and a second mass body vibrating in opposite directions by an electrostatic force generated in the driving part; A fixed electrode part fixedly disposed at a side of the anchor part and having a plurality of comb-shaped fixed electrodes formed at predetermined intervals on one side thereof; And fixing the capacitance changed by rotational vibration by rotating by the Coriolis force when the Coriolis force due to external rotational movement is applied to the vibrating mass portion through the mass part and the plurality of elastic members. And a plurality of rotating vibration parts detected by the plurality of comb-shaped sensing electrodes formed at a predetermined distance from the plurality of fixed electrodes of the electrode part.
According to the present invention, the vibration of the two symmetric masses facing the outside of the sensing structure, that is, the vibration of the tuning fork mode to minimize the disturbance caused by the external vibration to cancel the relatively external vibration to accurately The angular velocity output can be obtained.
In addition, since the vibration mode in the sensing direction also uses the rotation mode, the influence of linear vibration in the sensing direction can be minimized.

The
The
The first

When a voltage is applied to the
The Coriolis force in the Z-rotation direction proportional to the vibration speed of the first
Coriolis forces applied to the first
Accordingly, the Coriolis motion is detected by the plurality of capacitance
