Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a malfunction detection system for a press, and more particularly, to a malfunction detection system for a press that detects a malfunction by a work material conveyed to a press and stops the operation of the press.
The press is an important mechanical device used throughout the industry, and mainly presses the processing material and performs the function, and usually works in one set with a mold.
The press includes a pressurization unit, and the pressurization unit has a mechanical pressurization device, a hydraulic pressurization device, and other pressurization devices.
The press is applied to the plastic working of metal workpieces, and is one of devices widely applied to die casting of aluminum alloy, molding of synthetic resin, and the like.
As described above, since the press is mainly used to deform the material by the action of the pressurizing part, it is a device that is highly likely to be a problem for the safety of the operator if it is wrong. Devices and control devices have been proposed and applied.
For example, Patent No. 208337 includes a pair of input switches and a control unit for operating a press when the pair of input switches are turned on from an off state together with a time difference within a predetermined delay time. Disclosed is a configuration in which the press can be prevented from malfunctioning due to the negligence of a press working worker or a minor failure of a machine, thereby increasing the safety of the press.
In addition, Korean Patent No. 892531 discloses a configuration of an automatic safety device for a hemming press for preventing a safety accident of an operator working in a hemming press during maintenance work due to a malfunction of the hemming press.
The safety device as described above has excellent characteristics to promote the safety of the worker, but the press device of recent years is mostly automated and is manufactured in such a way that the operator does not directly participate in the feeding of the workpiece to supply the material by the automatic feeding device.
Since the malfunction of the press apparatus as described above is mostly caused by incorrect conveying of the material, various sensors are installed in order to precisely proceed the feeding of the material, and thus a method of preventing the malfunction of the press device is mainly applied.
In the above-described configuration, devices using control software are applied to general-purpose devices such as PLCs or computers in order to control the operation of the press by recognizing the information of the sensor and determining the situation thereof.
However, in the case of the PLC or computer-implemented products, the price is relatively high, which increases the cost of the entire press system. In particular, since the malfunction of the press is relatively simple compared to other devices, it is necessary to develop a malfunction detection system having the same function but having a low price.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, the
First, the
The synchronization signal may be obtained when a recognition sensor is installed at a bottom dead center or a top dead center of the
In addition, the
The
The
The
Therefore, the
Meanwhile, the
First, a touch sensor is a sensor that generates a signal by contact with a material to be supplied. The touch sensor mainly recognizes a transfer of a material, that is, a material 1 as a contact form.
In general, when the feeding is not appropriate, the bending of the material 1 supplied by the pressing force of the
As shown in (a) of FIG. 3, the signal of the touch sensor generates a normal H (high) signal constantly. When there is a problem in some feeding, an L (low) signal is generated. This can be recognized as an abnormal occurrence point.
On the contrary, as shown in (b) of FIG. 3, the signal is maintained as an L signal, and may be implemented in a form in which an H signal is generated when there is a problem in some feeding.
In this case, the generation time of the H signal may be recognized as an abnormal occurrence time.
The sensor of the form as shown in FIG. 3A is referred to as "A contact" type, and the sensor as shown in FIG. 3B is referred to as "B contact" type.
The "A contact" and "B contact" is a configuration that can be replaced in the same sensor, but for convenience described below only in the form of "A contact", of course, can also be applied to "B contact".
Next, an end sensor is demonstrated.
The end sensor is a sensor for detecting whether the material 1 is exhausted.
As shown in Figure 4, it may be implemented in the form of contact with the supplied material (1) or in the form of an optical sensor, when the material 1 is present in the lower part of the sensor generates an H signal of the material (1) If the supply is interrupted, an L signal is generated, and the timing of the L signal generation may be recognized as an abnormal state.
Next, the miss sensor will be described.
The miss sensor is a sensor that recognizes whether the material 1 is transferred to a normal position during the movement of the material 1, and is implemented using an optical sensor, a contact sensor, a stopper type sensor, and the like.
As shown in FIG. 5, the miss sensor uses a photo sensor between a hole or a hole spaced in the material 1, and a touch sensor is attached to the empty space to recognize the miss sensor.
When the workpiece 1 is normally transferred and positioned at the settlement position, the signal of the miss sensor generates an H signal, and in the case of abnormal transfer, the material portion of the workpiece 1 is positioned to generate an L signal.
In this case, the time at which the L signal is generated may be recognized as an abnormal occurrence state.
The following describes the pass sensor.
The pass sensor is a sensor that recognizes the situation when a product produced in the mold is not taken out, and is implemented using a spring sensor, an optical sensor, or an infrared sensor.
In general, a product manufactured in a mold passes through the pass sensor after being discharged with pneumatic pressure, and the pass sensor detects whether the product passes.
In case of A contact, it outputs H signal if product is present and L signal if product is not present.
The time point at which the L signal is output may be recognized as an abnormal state.
Next, the function of the
The
As shown in FIG. 6, the synchronization signal T is divided into five regions. The first region is the initial L signal region, the second region is the instantaneous region that changes from the L signal to the H signal, the third region means the H signal region, and the fourth region is changed from the H signal to the L signal. The instantaneous region, and finally the fifth region refers to the L signal region.
Meanwhile, the
When the input signal IN is (a), that is, when the H signal is output in the first region of the synchronization signal and the L signal is output before the fourth region.
At this time, it is determined that the raw material 1 is normally positioned, it is determined as "normal" and does not stop the operation of the
When the input signal IN is (b), that is, when the H signal is output in the first region of the synchronization signal and the L signal is simultaneously output in the fourth region.
At this time, it is determined that the material 1 is not normal. The reason is that the feeding of the raw material 1 is completed before the press operation, so that a normal product is manufactured, but at the same time, when the raw material 1 is fed, a problem occurs in the quality of the product. Therefore, in the above case, it is determined as "emergency" and the operation of the
When the input signal IN is (c), that is, when the H signal is output in the first region of the synchronization signal and the L signal is output in the fifth region.
At this time, when the operation of the
When the input signal IN is (d), that is, when the L signal is output after the H signal is output in the third region of the synchronization signal, feeding is completed before the operation of the
