Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a traffic accident prevention support system and method, and more particularly, in order to prevent collisions and collisions on roads such as intersections, and at the same time, a conflict between information and multiple vehicles that may occur while the vehicle receives various information The present invention relates to a system and a method for resolving a priority conflict caused by receiving the same information.
A vehicle approaching an intersection with traffic lights saw a yellow signal begin, but typical acceleration and deceleration roads may not be able to safely stop within a stop line or pass an intersection within a yellow signal time. This section is called the Dilemma Zone. This dilemma section exists when the minimum stopping distance that the driver can stop during the yellow time is longer than the driver can safely cross the intersection.
As a method for solving the problem of the dilemma section, recently, a communication method such as V2V and V2I is used to detect vehicles entering the dilemma section and give warning messages to these vehicles.
Looking at the research to solve the dilemma section, at the intersection where a large number of point detectors are installed, the vehicle's speed and passing time information is detected in real time and transmitted to the local server to identify whether there is a danger and send a warning message to the driver. Provide service.
In addition, the accident prevention system, which is being actively researched by automobile companies such as Ford, Toyota, and Nissan, informs vehicles in advance of intersections, traffic lights, and crosswalks through V2I (Vehicle to Infrastructure), and V2V (Vehicle to By exchanging position information and speed information between vehicles through vehicles, an accident can be prevented in advance.
For example, Korean Patent Publication No. 2010-0041563 "Active Safe Driving Assistance System and Method for Crossroads" detects and judges a dangerous vehicle approaching an intersection and provides safety information to vehicles existing near the intersection. have.
However, such a system has a potential conflict of information that may occur when a vehicle receives multiple information and a priority conflict that occurs when multiple vehicles simultaneously receive the same information. In other words, to avoid an accident, all drivers must make choices based on their current situation (vehicle location and speed, etc.), but they need to know exactly what action they should take, for example, to continue driving as they are. It is difficult to make a decision such as whether you have to leave the intersection quickly or stop. Therefore, when the vehicle ahead decides to stop in the dilemma section, the relevant vehicle behind the likely vehicle that has decided to pass and the collision that may occur, or when the vehicle determined to pass in the dilemma section does not pass the intersection within the yellow signal time There is a limit to preventing a crash that may occur with a suddenly started vehicle.
The present invention is to solve the conflict of priority that occurs when the vehicle receives the same information and multiple cars receive the same information at the same time to prevent collisions and collisions on the road, such as intersections The purpose is to make it possible.
In addition, in order to avoid an accident, the present invention requires all drivers to make a choice according to their current situation (vehicle position and speed, etc.), but what exactly they should do, for example, to continue driving as they are. It aims to make it easier to make a decision, such as speeding up, moving out of position quickly, or stopping.
In addition, according to the present invention, when a vehicle in front of a vehicle decides to stop in a dilemma section, a related vehicle behind a likely vehicle that has decided to pass and a collision accident that may occur, or a vehicle that decides to pass in a dilemma section do not pass an intersection within a yellow signal time. If not, it aims to prevent a collision with a vehicle starting at the side road.
Traffic accident prevention support system according to the present invention to achieve this purpose includes a communication connection setting unit, ID transmission unit, vehicle information receiving unit, database, accident possibility determination unit, warning message transmission unit and communication connection release unit. The communication connection setting unit establishes a communication connection with the vehicles entering the traffic management area. The ID transmitter assigns an ID to each of the vehicles for which the communication connection is established, and transmits the assigned ID to each vehicle through the communication connection. The vehicle information receiver receives vehicle information from the vehicles to which the ID is assigned. The database stores the vehicle information and communication connection information. The accident determination unit determines the location and speed information of each of the vehicles to which an ID is assigned in the traffic management area, and determines a vehicle having a possibility of accident and related vehicles in consideration of the received vehicle information. do. The warning message transmission unit transmits a warning message corresponding to the state of each vehicle for each of the likely vehicle and the related vehicle. The communication connection release unit releases the communication connection with each of the vehicles when the vehicles leave the traffic management area.
As described above, according to the present invention, the traffic accident prevention support system performs one-to-one communication with vehicles corresponding to an ID temporarily assigned, predicts an accident risk based on the driver's driving tendency information, and continues the driver's actions. If the monitoring is inconsistent with the forecast, a warning message for the vehicle with the corresponding ID is transmitted through the communication connection for each vehicle, so that it is possible to assist in the actual prevention of accidents, thus reducing collisions and collisions between vehicles in the dilemma section. .
In addition, it is possible to solve the conflict of priority that occurs by receiving a conflict of information that may occur in the process of receiving a plurality of information and the same vehicle at the same time. In other words, every driver is given a warning message that fits their situation, so that they know exactly what they need to do, for example, to continue driving as they are, to speed up quickly, to stop, etc. It is easy to make the same judgment.

Description of System>
1 is a view showing a schematic configuration of a traffic accident prevention support system according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 1, the traffic accident
The
The road
The communication
The
The terminal installed in the vehicle authenticates the driver through the authentication code, and the driving tendency of the driver such as the stop rate, acceleration rate, stop deceleration rate, and reaction time (cognitive response time for the driver to recognize the signal change and control the vehicle). Collects and updates vehicle information such as information, vehicle position information, tire friction coefficient, current speed, direction of travel, destination, vehicle length and weight, and receives the ID from the
The
The accident
This is applied in detail to the intersection area as follows. The accident
For example, if the speed change of the
In response to the determination, the warning
In one embodiment, the warning
When the deceleration of the likely vehicle is detected, the
If a vehicle that is likely to be in an accident is currently decelerated but cannot be stopped before the area of the accident, there is a risk of a collision with another vehicle. When such a situation occurs in the intersection area, the warning
In addition, when a vehicle that is likely to be in an accident is currently decelerated and a speed change of a related vehicle behind the vehicle that is likely to be accidentally detected is not detected, there is a risk of a collision accident between the vehicle that is likely to be accident and the related vehicle. In this case, the warning
On the other hand, when the acceleration of the vehicle which is likely to be accident is detected, the accident
Accidental vehicle that is likely to be accelerated is determined to be unable to pass through the probable area for the remainder of the signal cycle, i.e. an accident-prone vehicle that deliberately violates the signal by virtue of the driver's propensity to pass through the area. In this case, there is a risk of accident. Accordingly, the traffic
Here, since there is a risk of an accident when a vehicle that is likely to cause an accident and a related vehicle ignore the warning message, the
In addition, in the present invention, when the vehicles assigned the ID leave the traffic management area, the communication
As described above, the traffic accident
Description of the method>
A traffic accident prevention support method according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.
S210>1.Stages of collecting environmental information in road area <S210>
The traffic accident
S220>2. Communication connection setup step <S220>
When vehicles entering the traffic management area are detected, a one-to-one communication connection with the terminals of the vehicles is established.
ID generation and transmission step <S230>
An ID is randomly generated and assigned to each of the vehicles in which the communication connection is established, and the assigned ID is transmitted to the terminal of each vehicle through the communication connection. Here, ID is an arbitrary value given to vehicles entering the traffic management area.
S240>4. Vehicle information receiving step <S240>
Receive vehicle information from vehicles in the traffic management area assigned with ID, respectively.
In the present invention, the terminal installed in the vehicle authenticates the driver through the authentication code, the vehicle's driving tendency information (stop rate, acceleration rate, stop deceleration rate, reaction time, etc.) or vehicle position information, current speed, direction of travel, etc. Collect and update vehicle information that may affect the accident of the driver, and update the driver's driving tendency information according to repeated driving habit pattern to accurately predict the behavior after the driver's reaction time, thereby processing the accumulated statistics. It is desirable to provide information.
S250>5. Vehicle information and communication connection information storage step <S250>
Vehicle information and communication connection information are stored in the
S260>6. Determining the likely vehicle and the vehicle associated with the accident, and transmitting a warning message <S260>
The location and speed information of each vehicle to which an ID is assigned is checked in the traffic management area, and in consideration of the received vehicle information, a vehicle having a possibility of accident and related vehicles are determined. To this end, when the predicted progress of the vehicle is different from the actual progress of the vehicle, the possibility of the accident is determined based on the current situation of the vehicle in which there is a possibility of accident (location information and speed change information, etc. of the likely vehicle).
In addition, a warning message corresponding to the state of each vehicle is transmitted to each of a vehicle and a related vehicle that may be in an accident. do. If the traffic management area is an intersection area, a warning message may be transmitted to a vehicle entering a dilemma section having a high risk of accident.
This is applied in detail to the intersection area as follows. First, predicting the progress of a vehicle that is likely to be accident based on driving tendency information among vehicle information of a vehicle that is likely to be in an accident <S261>, and the intersection of the vehicle at the current signal manifest (green, yellow, red) It predicts whether to pass or stop within the stop line. In general, in the dilemma section of the intersection area, the driver can make decisions such as stop and pass. If the usual driver has passed through the intersection area at the yellow signal, then it is predicted that a likely vehicle will pass at the current yellow signal. On the contrary, if the driver has stopped safely within the stop line and is driving safely, the current yellow signal predicts that the likely vehicle will stop.
사고 가능성 있는 차량의 운전자의 반응시간 후의 차량의 속도 변화가 운전자의 향후 행위(차량의 향후 주행) 예측과 다르면, 현재 운전자의 행위를 바탕으로 사고 가능성을 판단하는데, 반응시간 이후 운전자의 행위를 예측하는 판단 기준은 운전자의 반응시간 이후의 차량속도와 사고 가능성 있는 영역 진입 전 차량속도 간의 차를 이용하며, 이 값이 0을 초과하면 가속, 미만이면 감속으로 인식한다<S262>.If the change in the speed of the vehicle after the driver's reaction time of the likely vehicle is different from the driver's prediction of future behavior (driving of the vehicle), the possibility of the accident is determined based on the current driver's behavior. The criterion to use is the difference between the vehicle speed after the driver's response time and the vehicle speed before entering the area where an accident may occur.
First, when the deceleration of the likely vehicle accident is detected in step S262, it is determined whether the vehicle capable of accident is able to stop before the accident probable area (S263a). If the difference between the current position of the vehicle that is likely to be accident and the area before the area that is likely to be accident and the average stopping distance of the vehicle that is likely to be accident exceeds zero, it is determined that the vehicle that is likely to be accident can stop within the stop line, .
(S264c).If a vehicle that is likely to be in an accident is in a decelerated state, but it is impossible to stop before the area that is likely to be in an accident, there is a risk of collision with another vehicle. If this situation occurs in the intersection area, a passing advisory message such as "There is a risk of an accident when decelerating. Please cross the intersection" is sent to a vehicle that is likely to have an accident (S263b). If the warning message is ignored, that is, if the acceleration is not detected by detecting a speed change of the vehicle (S263c), the possibility of an accident is very high, and thus, the speeds of the vehicle and the related vehicle with the possibility of an accident are controlled (S263d). ). In addition, if a decelerating vehicle is not detected as a result of the speed change of the related vehicle behind the probable vehicle of the probable vehicle is currently decelerated, and the deceleration is not detected, the vehicle between the probable vehicle and the related vehicle behind the vehicle There is a risk of collision. In this case, an emergency stop message such as "Deceleration in front of the vehicle, decelerate" may be transmitted to the related vehicle behind the vehicle that may cause an accident (S264a) to prevent a collision accident and the driver ignores the message. In S264b, the speed of the related vehicle behind the vehicle which may be in an accident may be controlled (S264c).
On the other hand, if the acceleration of the likely vehicle accident is detected in step S262, it is determined whether the vehicle capable of accident can pass through the accident possibility area for the remaining signal cycle (S265a). If the difference between the distance to go and the distance from the position of the vehicle which is likely to be present to the other side of the area which is likely to be accident is greater than 0, it is determined that the passage is possible, and if it is less than, the passage is impossible.
If it is determined that the accelerated accident vehicle cannot pass through the probable area for the remaining signal cycles, there is a risk of an accident. Therefore, the traffic signal is controlled to extend the yellow time or to change the signal cycle (265b). .
S270>7. Disconnection of communication with vehicles <S270>
When the vehicles assigned the ID are out of the traffic management area, the communication connection with the vehicles is released, and the previously stored vehicle information and communication connection information may be deleted or separately stored.
As described above, one-to-one communication with vehicles corresponding to the assigned ID, predicting the accident risk based on the driver's driving tendency information, and continuously monitoring the driver's behavior to communicate with each vehicle By sending a warning message for the vehicle with the corresponding ID through the connection, it is possible to assist in the actual prevention of accidents, thus reducing collisions and collision accidents between vehicles in the dilemma section. In addition, it is possible to solve the conflict of priority that occurs by receiving a conflict of information that may occur in the process of receiving a plurality of information and the same vehicle at the same time. That is, in the past, the same safety information was provided to vehicles on roads such as intersections, so it was not possible to prepare for an accident risk according to the future behavior of the relevant vehicle driver, but in the present invention, a warning message suitable for each situation is provided to all drivers. Therefore, it is easy to make judgments about exactly what actions you should take, for example, to continue driving as you are, to speed up, to leave the intersection quickly, to stop, and to prepare for an accident ahead of time. In addition, when the vehicle information and the communication connection information are temporarily stored in the
