Description
The present invention relates to the field of piping technology, and more particularly to an air vent device for the pipeline for collecting and discharging the gas contained in the fluid passing through the pipeline.
In a pipe where liquid, especially water flows, there is a portion where the temperature of the liquid rises or the pressure decreases while the liquid flows, and gases such as air dissolved in the liquid are separated by the temperature rise or the pressure drop in the pipe. In many cases, the gas produced by the vaporization or the liquid vaporization flows along the pipe together with the liquid in the form of bubbles.
When bubbles are generated in the pipes through which liquid flows and collect in one place, these bubbles cause problems such as obstructing the normal flow of liquid in the pipes and causing noises as these bubbles burst.
In order to solve the above problems, the piping system includes air (bubbles generated in the piping, in addition to air, other gases such as water vapor, but the oxygen or nitrogen air is dissolved in water and occupy most of the release Therefore, in the present specification, these gases may be collectively referred to as "air".) May be provided with an air vent valve for discharging the gas to the outside.
As commonly used as the air vent valve for the above purpose, as shown in Figure 6, the air chamber which is a space where the air can be collected in the pipe line and the opening and closing cap for manually opening and closing on the top of the air chamber is installed As such, there is a manual opening and closing the cap to discharge the air collected in the air chamber from time to time.
In many cases, a collecting device may be installed in the air chamber so that the flow of water may be rapidly changed so that bubbles are well released. A typical collecting device is mounted on a flat plate having a plurality of protrusions, as shown in FIG. 7. The coupling hole is formed, and a plurality of sheets are stitched to the coupling rod to form a block shape, and then mounted in the air chamber. As another type of collecting device, as shown in FIG. 8, a plurality of collecting rings or holes are formed on the surface of a thin plate and rolled in a ring shape to mount a plurality of collecting rings in the air chamber. .
The conventional air vent valve as described above has to be manually operated, which is inconvenient to use and has to be exposed to the outside so that it can be operated manually. There is a problem of wetting the surroundings.
Recently, various types of automatic air vent valves have been developed and used, and all of them have a float that rises with the inflow of water inside the air chamber, and the float and the valve are connected to each other by filling the air inside the chamber to lower the water level. As the mask float descends, the lever connected to the float opens the valve to release air. Such a conventional automatic air vent valve is very complicated in structure, difficult to manufacture, expensive to produce, and there is a high risk of malfunction due to failure.
In order to solve the above problems of the conventional air vent valve, the structure is very simple and can be manufactured inexpensively, and there is no fear of failure, and also has a function of effectively trapping air bubbles dispersed in a small bubble in the liquid. An automatic air vent valve is required.
The air vent device for a pipeline of the present invention is largely composed of a valve portion and a chamber portion.
The valve portion is composed of a valve body, an inclined plate valve composed of a valve tip and a stopper and an opening / closing plate, and a float coupled to the opening / closing plate of the inclined plate valve.
The chamber part is composed of an air separation part and an air discharge part. The air separation part is provided with an inlet and an outlet, and an air separation plate is mounted therein. A cylindrical metal mesh is provided on the outside of the air separation plate. And the valve portion is coupled to the air discharge portion formed on the top of the air separation unit.
Instead of having an air separation unit, the valve unit may include a connection unit that may be connected to a conduit to an air outlet, and may be directly connected to the conduit.
In the air vent device for the pipeline of the present invention, when the air in the water is released and collected in the air discharge portion, the water level inside the air discharge portion is lowered. The air collected inside is discharged to the outside. When the air in the air exhaust part is discharged, the water level rises, and accordingly the float rises, closing the inclined valve.
The air vent device for a pipeline of the present invention as described above is very simple in structure and easy to manufacture, and thus, a product can be manufactured at low cost. And the air vent device for the pipeline of the present invention has a simple structure is less fear of malfunction due to failure.
In addition, the air vent device for a pipeline of the present invention is provided with an air separation unit, it is possible to effectively collect the existing air bubbles dispersed in the form of small bubbles in the water to discharge to the outside.

As shown in FIG. 5, the air separation plate may be manufactured such that the metal mesh 220-1 covers both the upper and lower surfaces of the
When the air separation plate is configured as described above, the water flows through the holes 222-1 and the metal mesh 220-1 to cause a large change in the flow rate, so that bubbles are better collected than the conventional air separation plate.
Operation of the air vent device of the above configuration is as follows.
As gas dissolved in water passes through the hole 222-1 and the metal mesh 220-1, a portion having a very high flow rate occurs locally. When the flow rate is increased, the pressure of the portion is increased by Bernoulli's theorem. Descend. When the pressure drops in this way, the gas dissolved in the water is released to form a small bubble, and these small bubbles agglomerate with each other to form a large bubble, and the bubbles thus enlarged rise above the air discharge portion (213) through the communication hole (213). 212).
