Description
The present invention relates to a discharge prevention cable, and more particularly, to prevent the formation of a high electric field on the outside of the underground power cable embedded to prevent arc discharge generated at high frequency high voltage power cables used for power supply lines for on-line electric vehicles It relates to a discharge prevention cable for protecting the.
Typically, power cables used for high voltage of several kV or more are designed and manufactured to be suitable for the frequency of commercial power, 50 Hz or 60 Hz, and high frequency is used only for special purposes.
1 is a front view of a high frequency power cable according to the prior art, in which a high
If the power cables are all in close contact with the conductive cable support mechanism as shown in FIG. 1 and the surface of the power cable is wet and conductive, the same current flows per meter. However, in the case where only one power cable is in close contact with the conductive cable support mechanism and the other power cable has air gaps and there is a conductive protrusion 12 as shown in FIG. 3, the void capacitance Ca is an insulating film capacitance C1. It is relatively small, so most of the voltage between the two power cables is in the air gap. The voltage Va across the gap is as follows.
This can cause the electric field in the air gap to exceed 0.8-3 kV / mm, the dielectric breakdown field in the air. If a voltage of 2kV is applied across the power cable, most of this voltage is applied to the air gap, and arc discharge occurs when the air gap is within 0.67mm. Once discharge begins, the inter-void voltage drops to around 100V, the arc discharge voltage, and the current flowing therein is limited by the capacitance of C1 / 2 and the voltage across the power cable. For example, if the voltage across the power cable is 2 kV, 63 mA per meter flows in the case of the power cable (ignoring the ohmic resistance of the conductive cable support mechanism), and power of 100 V * 63 mA = 6.3 W is converted into flame energy during arc discharge. However, in this case, if the surface of the power cable is only 1m wet, the power cable is more wet, and if there is only one conductive protrusion, a larger spark may occur. In general, when the spacing of a pair of power cables is small, such arc discharge occurs between power cables, and in the case of multiple conductive protrusions, arc discharge may occur simultaneously in several places. The burnout of the power cable occurs regardless of the capacity of the power cable or the breakdown voltage, and only the spark intensity of the arc discharge is changed. FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a power cable damaged by an actual high frequency high voltage arc discharge. When the high frequency high voltage power cable is buried underground, the power cable is burned out by the water penetrated into the plastic pipe and is completely cut. have.
This phenomenon occurs when the power cable is not evenly adhered to the cable support mechanism at high frequency, high voltage, and high humidity. However, even in low frequency, low voltage, and dry environment, arc discharge or corona discharge may occur in a weak form. have. Because the cable burnout principle is discharged only when insulation breakdown voltage is reached in the air gap, cable burnout may occur even in a situation of 60 Hz, 100 V, and 0% humidity. However, the size and shape of the cable is so weak that it is difficult to observe, and the cable surface is gradually damaged over a long period of time. More generally, this discharge can occur not in power cables but also in signal cables with high frequency or switching but low voltage.
In addition, if there is a flammable material around the cable, it may cause an explosion when a discharge occurs, so it is necessary to develop a safe cable or develop a method of using the cable correctly.
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and the capacitance at high frequency and high voltage by making the dielectric breakdown electric field value (0.8 to 3 kV / mm in air) or less in all areas between the cable between both ends of the voltage applied An object of the present invention is to provide a discharge preventing power cable in which arc discharge does not occur on the surface of the power cable by capacitive current.
Furthermore, an object of the present invention is to provide a discharge preventing cable that can prevent fine arc discharge and corona discharge generated in the case of a low frequency, low voltage power cable, or a signal cable with high frequency or switching.

According to the present invention, the electric field values inside and outside the power cable are lower than the breakdown strength even under high frequency and high voltage conditions, so that the cable can be safely used even in an environment in which the cable is not burned and flammable or explosive materials are present.

6 is a front view of a power cable with a low dielectric insulating film formed in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 6, the
Here, Vs is a voltage applied between the
The pore electric field strength (Ea) is the maximum (Ea, max) when the pore spacing is close to zero, and the value is as follows.
In the conventional cable, since there is no low dielectric insulating
For example, under the usual conditions of Vs = 2 kV, when using an insulating film with ε 1 / ε a = 4, the thickness d of the insulating film reaches 10 mm to satisfy the minimum dielectric breakdown field value of 0.8 kV / mm in air. do. In practice, the design margin should be about 20mm, which is twice that of the design margin, so the cable becomes excessively thick, making it difficult to implement. In the present invention, this problem is solved by inserting a low dielectric insulating film. Assuming that the primary and secondary insulating films are relatively thin when the low dielectric is inserted, the value is approximately determined by the thickness of the low dielectric insulating film as follows.
For example, even if the design margin is considered twice under the same conditions as above, arc discharge does not occur even with a voltage of 2 kV as long as the thickness of the low dielectric insulating film is about 5 mm. Of course, in this state, the partial pressure effect by the primary and secondary insulating films is added, so the electric field value in the air gap outside the cable is lower than this, making it safer.
As the material of the low dielectric insulating film, a light material containing a foam bubble or a microstructure filled with an inert gas may be used. The low dielectric insulating film may have excellent heat transfer or withstand voltage characteristics due to heat generation of the conductor. For example, the low dielectric insulating film portion may be a dry air layer, and the secondary insulating film may be replaced with a PVC pipe or the like. In this way, the conductor (stranded wire) and the primary insulating film are the same as the general cable, which is inserted into the PVC pipe and then sealed at both ends of the PVC pipe. At this time, it is necessary to have a member that properly secures the surface of the general cable to be located on the center without touching the PVC pipe. If the thickness of the PVC pipe is large enough in accordance with the above-mentioned conditions for the absence of the low dielectric insulating film, the general cable may be brought into contact with the PVC pipe without doing so. However, when the surface of the cable is electrically conductive by water or impurities, and the sharp protrusion is placed near the cable, the dielectric breakdown field value may be exceeded. Even in this case, a method for lowering the void arc discharge electric field strength will be described with reference to FIG. 7.
7 is a diagram showing a power cable and electric field distribution in which a high-k dielectric coating film is formed according to another embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 7, a high dielectric
FIG. 8 is a view showing a fastening structure between a structure of the high dielectric film of FIG. 7 and a feeding core; FIG.
As shown in FIG. 8, the
9 is a side view of a power cable having a heat resistant insulating film according to another embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 9, the ring-shaped cable has a predetermined gap with the conductive
In addition, a nonferrous metal such as stainless or an aluminum alloy may be used instead of the material forming the second insulating film. Even in this case, due to the good conductivity of the metal material, even if an arc discharge occurs, the cable is not burned out. In this case, however, the capacitance between the conductor (stranded wire) and the metal film is not large, so that capacitive current does not flow largely. For example, if the metal ring is 1 mm wide, the spacing between metal rings should be at least 10 mm. At this time, the height of the metal ring should be 2 to 3mm so that the conductive cable support mechanism and the first insulating film do not directly touch. As the width of the metal ring becomes wider, the vortex loss becomes larger. Therefore, when the thickness of the metal ring is increased, insulation lamination should be performed. In addition, it is preferable to use a magnetic material because the inductance of the line is increased and a loss occurs. However, the present invention does not prevent the arc discharge itself, so it is not preferable to be used in an environment with flammable materials.
As a modified example of the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 9, the second insulating film may be formed in a spiral shape. In the case of forming a spiral, it is more convenient to construct the second insulating film than in the case of the ring type. That is, in the case of the ring-shaped insulating film, it is difficult to arrange the interval of each ring-shaped member uniformly, whereas in the case of the spiral, the second insulating film manufactured so as to keep the spacing between the spirals is kept on the first insulating film. Simple to install.
10 is a view showing a power cable having a metal film according to another embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 10, the conductive
