Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a large reactor capable of improving output while minimizing the size of the reactor vessel and improving stability.
The
In general, the
In addition, in the case where the
In the drawings,
In this case, since the four- and twelve-foot control rod assemblies are mixed and arranged, the arrangement of the control rod assemblies must be complicated, and since the positions of the measuring instruments are determined for observation, the control rod assembly and the measuring instrument are determined. The location where is disposed is bound to interfere. Therefore, since the measuring instrument cannot be inserted and mounted in the same direction as the control rod assembly, it is configured to be inserted from the lower portion of the
On the other hand, there is a problem that the encroachment of safety margin becomes relatively large in the case that the installation of the 12-bar control rod assembly with high control rods is impossible due to mechanical defects or the inability of the 12-bar control rod assembly occurs. . In other words, even if a failure occurs in one control rod, the 12-arm control rod assembly becomes impossible to operate, so that the safety margin of that much can be eroded. In this case, when the control rod assembly which cannot be operated is to be replaced, it is impossible during the operation of the
Furthermore, in the case of increasing the output of the reactor by using the
In addition, the conventional
In addition, the
On the other hand, the
The present invention has been made in view of at least one of the needs or problems arising in a conventional reactor.
One object of the present invention is to improve the structure of the nuclear fuel assembly to improve the output while minimizing the size of the reactor vessel.
Another object of the present invention is to simplify the pattern of the control rod assembly mounted on the fuel assembly so that interference between the control rod and the measuring instrument does not occur.
Yet another object of the present invention is to minimize the erosion of safety margin even in the event of mechanical failure of some control rods.
Still another object of the present invention is to allow both the control rod and the measuring instrument to be mounted on the top to facilitate maintenance, inspection and handling of accidents.
Yet another object of the present invention is to ensure safe inlet water flows into the reactor vessel while minimizing the loss of cooling water even when the low temperature pipe is broken.
Another object of the present invention is to improve the arrangement of the reload tank structure to minimize the layout space even when the capacity of the reactor increases.
A large reactor related to an embodiment for realizing at least one of the above problems may include the following features.
The present invention is basically based on the structure and arrangement of the fuel assembly and the control rod assembly to improve the output while minimizing the size of the reactor vessel.
A large reactor according to an embodiment of the present invention is a reactor in which a reactor vessel and a plurality of steam generators are connected to the reactor vessel by a high temperature tube and a low temperature tube, and an instrument guide tube is disposed at a central portion thereof. A fuel assembly comprising a plurality of control rod guide tubes, the fuel rods being arranged in a plurality of transverse and column regions in the remaining region where the measuring instrument guide tube and the control rod guide tube are not disposed; Control rod assembly consisting of eight control rods to be inserted into the control rod guide tube; And, it can be configured to include; measuring instrument is inserted into the measuring instrument guide tube.
In this case, the fuel assembly may be mounted so as to be arranged in a plurality of transverse and rows inside the core of the reactor vessel. In addition, the control rod assembly and the measuring instrument may be mounted on different nuclear fuel assemblies so that the control rod assembly may not be in contact with each other in the transverse and column directions so as not to interfere with each other. The instrument may also be mounted to the instrument guide tube of the nuclear fuel assembly without the control rod assembly.
Meanwhile, the fuel rods may be arranged in an 18 × 18 arrangement.
On the other hand, a safety injection tube directly connected to the reactor vessel may be further provided. In this case, the safety injection tube may be further provided with a guide projecting into the reactor vessel.
The reactor may further include a flange portion for connecting a high temperature tube or a low temperature tube or a high temperature tube and a low temperature tube to the outside.
In addition, the reactor vessel may be configured to be shielded by a reload tank structure. In this case, the reload tank structure may be arranged to surround the reactor vessel by avoiding a plurality of steam generators, coolant pumps, pressurizers and safety injections.
As described above, according to the present invention, the size of the reactor vessel can be minimized even when the output of the reactor is improved.
In addition, according to the present invention, since the pattern of the control rod assembly mounted on the nuclear fuel assembly can be made simply, the interference between the control rod and the measuring instrument does not occur so that both the control rod and the measuring instrument are mounted on the upper side of the maintenance, inspection and accident. Coping can be made easily.
In addition, according to the present invention, the structure of the improved fuel assembly can be improved to the same output using a relatively small number of fuel assemblies rather than increasing the output using the fuel assemblies of the existing reactor.
In addition, according to the present invention, even in the event of mechanical failure of some control rods, it is possible to minimize the erosion of safety margin.
In addition, according to the present invention, even when the low temperature tube is broken, the safety injection water can be introduced to the reactor vessel as much as possible while minimizing the loss of the cooling water.
In addition, according to the present invention, it is possible to minimize the size of the containment building even when the capacity of the reactor is increased by improving the arrangement of the reload tank structure.

Embodiments related to the present invention are basically based on the structure and arrangement of the fuel assembly and the control rod assembly to improve the output while minimizing the size of the reactor vessel.
In the
In this case, each of the
That is, the
In addition, the
When the output of the
In other words, it can be seen that the area required for the arrangement of the
And, as shown in Figure 4b, the
By such a configuration, the large-
In more detail, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the
According to such a configuration, since only eight control rods are not operated even when a failure occurs in one
In addition, the pattern in which the
For example, the
By such an arrangement structure, the
Such a configuration makes the structure of the reactor simpler than the conventional configuration in which the instrument is mounted at the lower position of the reactor, and thus can be advantageously maintained in terms of maintenance and inspection, and further improves the ability to cope with serious accidents. You can.
Meanwhile, the
In this case, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the
In this case, the
When the coolant inside the
On the other hand, the safety injection pipe (150a) may be configured to be connected to a different height than the low temperature pipe (110c) in order to minimize the safety injection water supplied through the low temperature pipe (110c). In this case, the
Due to this configuration, the flow resistance is formed in the longitudinal direction of the
Therefore, even in the event of an accident in which the coolant is lost through the
On the other hand, as shown in Figure 7, the
According to the conventional configuration, since nozzles such as hot tubes or cold tubes are directly welded to the reactor vessel, sufficient space must be maintained between the nozzles because a space for inspecting the weld site must be secured. This required a larger reactor vessel to weld the hot and cold tubes for the reactor construction.
However, as in the embodiment of the present invention, when the
In addition, when the structure is configured as described above, the inspection of the welded portion near the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 8, the
In general, the containment building is sized according to the size of the cycle arrangement of the reactor system, as in the embodiment of the present invention, the reload
Therefore, when the main devices of the reactor system and the reload
The large-scale reactor described above is not applicable to the above-described embodiments, but the embodiments may be configured by selectively combining all or some of the embodiments so that various modifications can be made.
