Abstract

본 발명은 카드키를 이용하여 홈네트워크 시스템에서 사용자별 관련 선택 정보를 제공한다는 것으로, 사용자가 홈서버 조작을 통해 직접 검색하여 관련 정보를 취득하는 종래 방법과는 달리, 사용자별로 카드키의 정보와 해당 사용자의 정보를 저장 매체에 설정 등록하고, 출입문이 카드키에 의해 개폐될 때, 카드키에 대응하는 해당 사용자를 판별하며, 홈네트워크 시스템에 수신된 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 영상, 문자, 음성을 통해 자동으로 제공함으로써, 사용자별 카드키를 이용하여 홈네트워크 시스템에서 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 사용자에게 효과적으로 제공할 수 있는 것이다.

본 발명은 홈네트워크 시스템에서 카드키를 이용하여 사용자별 관련 선택 정보를 제공하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 사용자별 카드키를 이용하여 홈네트워크 시스템에 수신되는 사용자별 관련 선택 정보를 제공하는데 적합한 홈네트워크 시스템의 정보 제공 방법에 관한 것이다.
잘 알려진 바와 같이, 초기의 홈네트워킹은 가정 내 보안, 조명, 온도 등을 자동 통제하는 수준인 홈 오토메이션(Home Automation), 홈 컨트롤 시스템(Home Control System) 정도의 범위를 의미하는 것이었다.
그 후, 한 가정 내에 여러 대의 PC 및 주변기기를 보유한 가구 수가 증가하면서 이들을 효율적으로 연결시키기 위한 네트워킹 기술들이 등장하기 시작하였고, 이를 지원하기 위한 홈네트워킹 키트(Home Networking Kit)들이 등장하면서 홈네트워킹 개념이 본격적으로 사용되기 시작하였다.
그리고, 기존의 전화선이나 전력선, 무선 등 진일보한 전송매체 기술의 발전과 DSL, Cable Modem 등 가입자망의 광대역화로 초고속인터넷이 급속히 확대되면서 PC 뿐만 아니라 각종 디지털 정보단말기들이 가정 내에 등장하면서 홈네트워킹은 가정 내 디지털 정보가전기기들 간에 데이터를 주고받을 수 있는 통로를 제공함과 동시에 외부 인터넷 망과의 접속을 제공함으로써 지능화된 커뮤니케이션(communication)이 가능하게 되었다.
또한, 이러한 홈네트워킹 기술의 보급으로 사용자에게 필요한 정보들을 가정 내에서 홈네트워크 시스템을 통해서 취득할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 홈네트워크 시스템을 이용하여 우편물의 수령, 지역 내의 공지사항, 지역 부녀회 소식, 검침 안내 등의 정보를 가정 내에서 검색하여 제공받을 수 있다.
하지만, 종래에는 홈네트워크 시스템에서 사용자에 대한 관련 정보를 제공받 기 위해서 사용자가 일일이 직접 검색하여 해당 사용자의 관련 정보를 취득해야 하므로, 사용자가 홈네트워크 시스템에서 해당 사용자에게 관련된 정보를 취득하는데 불편함이 있었다.
따라서, 본 발명은 상기한 종래 기술의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로, 홈네트워크 시스템에서 카드키를 이용하여 사용자를 판별하고, 판별 결과에 의거하여 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 자동으로 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은, 인터넷이 연결되어 있는 홈네트워크 시스템의 정보 제공 방법으로서, 홈네트워크 시스템의 저장 매체에 사용자별 카드키의 정보와 이에 대응하는 해당 사용자의 선택 정보를 설정 등록하는 단계와, 카드키를 이용하여 출입문을 개폐할 때, 카드키에 대응하는 해당 사용자를 판별하는 단계와, 상기 사용자에게 관련된 선택 정보가 데이터베이스에 존재하는지를 검색하는 단계와, 상기 검색된 선택 정보를 인출하여 상기 시스템에 연결되어 있는 재생 수단을 통해 제공하되, 상기 검색된 선택 정보는, 메일 도착 안내, 지역 소식의 안내, 공지 사항의 안내에 대해 영상, 문자, 음성 중 어느 하나 또는 복합 형태로 이용하여 제공되는 단계를 포함하는 홈네트워크 시스템의 정보 제공 방법을 제공한다.
본 발명의 상기 및 기타 목적과 여러 가지 장점은 이 기술분야에 숙련된 사람들에 의해 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 하기에 기술되는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시 예로부터 더욱 명확하게 될 것이다.
이하 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 바람직한 실시 예에 대하여 상세하 게 설명한다.
본 발명은, 홈네트워크 시스템에서 카드키를 이용하여 사용자를 판별하고, 판별 결과에 의거하여 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 제공한다는 것으로, 이러한 기술적 수단을 통해 본 발명에서 목적으로 하는 바를 쉽게 달성할 수 있다.
도 1은 본 발명에 따라 카드키를 이용하여 사용자별 관련 선택 정보를 제공하는데 적합한 홈네트워크 시스템의 블록구성도로서, 카드 인식 수단(102), 홈서버(104), 카메라(106), 영상 데이터베이스(108), 문자 데이터베이스(110), 화면 구성 수단(112)을 포함한다.
도 1을 참조하면, 카드 인식 수단(102)은 일반적인 보안 시스템에서 출입 통제 시에 사용하는 카드키(예를 들면, 스마트 카드, 마그네틱 카드 등)와 카드키 리더기를 포함하고, 사용자가 카드키 리더기에 카드키의 접촉 등을 통해 출입문의 개폐를 요청할 때, 카드키 리더기에서는 이러한 카드키의 정보를 검색하여 홈서버(104)로 전달한다.
다음에, 홈서버(104)는 저장 매체를 탑재하며, 가정내의 각종 디지털기기의 제어 및 관리를 담당하는 홈네트워크 시스템의 중추역할을 하는 시스템으로, 가정이나 사무실에서 둘 또는 그 이상의 컴퓨터나 가전기기를 통합 연결하여 기기, S/W, 저장장치를 공유, 제어, 관리할 수 있는 정보 단말기이다.
그리고, 홈서버(104)에서는 인터넷을 통해 가정 내에서 필요한 정보, 예를 들어 지역 소식, 검침안내, 메일 도착 안내, 공지 사항 등의 정보를 수신하여 영상 데이터베이스(108)나 혹은 문자 데이터베이스(110)에 전달하여 저장하고, 카드키 인식 장치를 이용하여 사용자별 카드키의 정보와 이에 대응하는 해당 사용자의 관련 정보를 내장되어 있는 저장 매체에 저장한다. 여기에서, 카드키 인식 장치는 출입문에 설치되어 인식하는 카드키 인식 수단(102)과는 별도로 가정 내에 존재하며, 홈서버(104)와 연결된 TV, 벨 폰 등에 설치될 수 있다.
또한, 홈서버(104)에서는 본 발명에 따라 카드키 인식 수단(102)으로부터 인식된 카드키에 대한 사용자를 홈서버(104)에 내장되어 있는 도시 생략된 저장 매체에서 검색하여 해당 사용자를 판별하고, 도시 생략된 출입문 개폐 수단으로 제어신호를 전달하여 출입문을 개폐한 후에 해당 사용자의 기 설정된 관련 선택 정보에 따라 영상 데이터베이스(108)와 문자 데이터베이스(110)를 검색하여 관련 영상 데이터와 문자 데이터를 화면 구성 수단(112)으로 전달한다.
한편, 카메라(106)는 출입문이 개폐될 때, 출입하는 사용자를 촬상하여 홈서버(104)로 전달하며, 이러한 촬상된 영상은 최근의 출입자 영상으로 영상 데이터베이스(108)에 저장된다.
그리고, 문자 데이터베이스(110)는 인터넷을 통해 홈서버(104)로 전달되는 정보들(예를 들면, 메일 도착 안내, 지역 소식의 안내, 공지 사항의 안내)을 문자화하여 저장한다. 여기에서, 인터넷을 통해 전달되는 정보들을 문자화하여 저장하는 것으로 하였으나, 이러한 정보들에 대응하여 간단한 음성 데이터로 홈서버에 연결되어 음성 데이터를 저장할 수 있는 음성 데이터베이스에 저장할 수 있음도 물론이다.
이어서, 화면 구성 수단(112)은 카드키에 의해 출입문이 개폐되면, 홈서버(104)에서는 해당 사용자의 기 설정된 관련 선택 정보에 따라 영상 데이터와 문자 데이터들에 대한 화면을 구성하여 도시 생략된 모니터(예를 들면, TV 등)로 전달하여 재생한다. 여기에서, 문자 데이터는, 예를 들어 반투명 OSD(On Screen Display)로 디스플레이 될 수 있다.
다음에, 상술한 바와 같은 구성을 갖는 홈네트워크 시스템에서 사용자별 카드키의 정보와 이에 대응하는 해당 사용자의 선택 정보를 설정 등록하는 과정에 대해 설명한다.

그리고, 사용자는 카드키 리더 등을 통해서 사용자별 카드키의 정보를 입력하고, 이에 대응하는 해당 사용자의 선택 정보 제공 조건을 설정한다(단계206). 예를 들면, 카드키에 대응하는 사용자의 귀가 시에 우편물 수령 여부, 지역 소식 존재 여부, 검침안내 여부, 최근 출입한 사용자의 영상 요청 등의 정보 제공 조건을 설정한다.
이어서, 해당 사용자는 카드키에 따른 관련 정보 제공 설정의 등록 여부를 체크하여(단계208), 홈서버(104)에 내장되어 있는 데이터베이스에 사용자별 카드키의 정보와 이에 대응하는 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 등록한다(단계210). 따라서, 홈네트워크 시스템에서 사용자별 카드키의 정보에 따라 해당 사용자의 선택 정보를 설정 등록할 수 있다.
다음에, 상술한 바와 같이 사용자별 카드키의 정보와 이에 대응하는 해당 사용자의 선택 정보를 설정 등록해 둔 상태에서 카드키를 이용하여 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 제공하는 과정에 대해 설명한다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따라 홈네트워크 시스템에서 카드키를 이용하여 사용자별 관련 선택 정보를 제공하는 과정을 도시한 플로우차트이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 카드키 인식 장치를 포함하는 홈네트워크 시스템의 대기 상태에서(단계302), 사용자가 카드키를 이용하여 출입문을 개폐하고자 하면, 홈서버(104)에서는 카드키 인식 수단(102), 예를 들어 카드키 리더기를 통해 카드키가 인식되는지를 체크한다(단계304).
상기 단계(304)에서의 체크 결과, 홈서버(104)에서는 카드키 인식에 따라 도시 생략된 출입문 개폐 수단으로 제어신호를 전달하여 출입문을 개폐한다(단계306). 이때, 홈서버(104)에서는 카메라(106)에 제어신호를 전달하여 출입하는 사용자의 영상을 촬상하고, 촬상된 영상을 최근의 출입 영상으로 영상 데이터베이스(108)에 저장한다.
그리고, 홈서버(104)에서는 내장되어 있는 저장 매체를 검색하여 입력된 카 드키의 정보에 대응하는 해당 사용자를 판별한다(단계308).
다음에, 홈서버(104)에서는 기 설정된 소정 시간(예를 들면, 10초, 20초 등)동안 홈네트워크 시스템의 사용자별 관련 선택 정보 제공을 지연하도록 제어하고(단계310), 시간이 기 설정된 소정 시간이 되는지를 체크한다(단계312). 여기에서, 관련 선택 정보 제공을 지연하는 이유는 해당 출입자가 가정 내로 진입하여 정보를 제공받을 수 있는 준비 시간을 주기 위함이고, t는 지연 시간을 의미하며, n은 사용자가 정보를 제공받을 수 있는 기 설정된 준비 시간을 의미한다.
상기 단계(312)에서의 체크 결과, 기 설정된 소정 시간이 지나면, 홈서버(104)에서는 판별된 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 제공하기 위해 제어신호를 전달하여 도시 생략된 모니터의 전원을 온 한다(단계314).
다음에, 홈서버(104)에서는 인식된 카드키에 대응하여 판별된 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 영상 데이터베이스(108)와 문자 데이터베이스(110)를 검색하여 관련 정보를 인출한다(단계316).
이어서, 홈서버(104)에서는 해당 사용자에 관련되어 인출된 최근 출입한 영상에 대한 영상 데이터와 기 설정된 관련 선택 정보에 대한 문자 데이터를 포함하는 화면을 구성하고(단계318), 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 디스플레이 한다(단계320). 여기에서, 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보는 영상 데이터와 문자 데이터만을 인출하여 사용자에게 제공하는 것으로 하였으나, 홈서버에 연결된 가전기기, 예를 들어 TV, 오디오 기기 등을 이용하여 음성 데이터까지도 사용자에게 제공할 수 있음도 물론이다.
따라서, 사용자의 카드키 정보와 해당 사용자의 선택 정보를 설정 등록해 두고, 홈네트워크 시스템에서 카드키를 이용하여 해당 사용자를 판별하며, 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 검색하여 사용자에게 자동으로 제공할 수 있다.
이상 설명한 것과 같이 본 발명은, 카드키를 이용하여 홈네트워크 시스템에서 사용자별 관련 선택 정보를 제공한다는 것으로, 사용자가 홈서버 조작을 통해 직접 검색하여 관련 정보를 취득하는 종래 방법과는 달리, 사용자별로 카드키의 정보와 해당 사용자의 선택 정보를 저장 매체에 설정 등록하고, 출입문이 카드키에 의해 개폐될 때, 카드키에 대응하는 해당 사용자를 판별하며, 홈네트워크 시스템에 수신된 해당 사용자의 관련 정보를 영상, 문자, 음성을 통해 자동으로 제공함으로써, 사용자별 카드키를 이용하여 홈네트워크 시스템에서 해당 사용자 관련 선택 정보를 사용자에게 효과적으로 제공할 수 있는 것이다.

  3. 인터넷이 연결되어 있는 홈네트워크 시스템의 정보 제공 방법으로서,
    홈네트워크 시스템의 저장 매체에 사용자별 카드키의 정보와 이에 대응하는 해당 사용자의 선택 정보를 설정 등록하는 단계와,
    카드키를 이용하여 출입문을 개폐할 때, 카드키에 대응하는 해당 사용자를 판별하는 단계와,
    상기 사용자에게 관련된 선택 정보가 데이터베이스에 존재하는지를 검색하는 단계와,
    상기 검색된 선택 정보를 인출하여 상기 시스템에 연결되어 있는 재생 수단을 통해 제공하되, 상기 검색된 선택 정보는, 메일 도착 안내, 지역 소식의 안내, 공지 사항의 안내에 대해 영상, 문자, 음성 중 어느 하나 또는 복합 형태로 이용하여 제공되는 단계
    를 포함하는 홈네트워크 시스템의 정보 제공 방법.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서,
    상기 검색된 선택 정보는, 카메라에 의해 촬상된 가장 최근 출입자의 영상 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 홈네트워크 시스템의 정보 제공 방법.
