Description
The present invention relates to charging a battery of a mobile device, and more particularly, to determine whether a charging receiver is installed and whether a battery is connected to a charging receiver, and to wirelessly supply a battery according to the present invention. It is about.
Recently, as a portable device receives a broadcast or multicast signal and can watch a video or a television program, a larger capacity battery is required.
Despite continued research, however, no battery with a satisfactory capacity has yet been developed.
As a result, if the charging time is not properly determined based on the remaining battery level and the charging operation is not performed, the video or television program may not be viewed through the portable device.
Therefore, various charging apparatuses and related methods for easily charging a battery have been developed.
In general, in order to charge a battery, a charging unit (or a charging matrix, a charging device) for supplying electrical energy to a battery of a mobile device connected to a general power source is required.
The charging unit and the battery are provided with separate contact terminals, respectively, so that the two contact terminals can be connected to each other to selectively charge the battery.
However, when the charging unit and the battery have contact terminals, they may not only look aesthetically, but may also be exposed to moisture, causing loss of charging energy or poor charging operation due to poor contact.
Therefore, in order to overcome the above problems, a method of charging a non-contact (or non-contact) method without a contact terminal for each of the charging unit and the battery (or the rechargeable battery) has been developed, and has been used in some applications.
As an example of a conventional contactless (or contactless) type charging method, a contactless charging method using inductive coupling and a contactless charging method using capacitive coupling are known.
In particular, the contactless charging method using inductive coupling includes a primary coil (magnetic field generating coil) in a charging unit and a secondary coil (induction coil) in a charging target such as a portable device, and the portable device is connected to the charging unit. When approaching, the portable device is charged by inductive coupling between the primary coil and the secondary coil.
In addition, the charging method by capacitive coupling is provided with a load-side flat plate type conductor in a portable device, and a power supply flat plate type conductor in the charging unit, and charges the mobile device by capacitive coupling of the power-side flat plate type conductor and the load-side flat plate type conductor. That's the way it is.

At this time, the second reference value is larger than the first reference value.
That is, since the voltage drop occurs more when the charging

In operation S509, the second switching control pattern is performed to charge the battery.
The second switching control pattern has a pulse width having the same period as that of the first switching control pattern in the
That is, the duty cycle of the second switching control pattern has a larger value than the duty cycle of the first switching control pattern.

The voltage induced by the
In addition, the DC-
