Claims (4)
- 저온에서 영상 표시가 가능한 엘씨디 구동 장치에 있어서,디지털 영상 데이터를 아날로그 신호로 변환하여 로우비디오 신호와 하이비디오 신호를 생성하여 출력하는 아날로그 영상 처리부와,상기 아날로그 영상처리부로부터 출력되는 로우비디오 신호와 하이비디오 신호에 따라 해당 영상을 표시하는 엘씨디 패널과,상기 엘씨디 패널의 온도를 감지하고, 상기 엘씨디 패널의 온도를 조절하는 히터와,상기 히터를 통해 감지된 상기 엘씨디 패널의 온도가 미리 정해진 기준온도보다 낮으면 상기 히터에 전원을 공급하고, 상기 기준온도보다 높으면 상기 전원 공급을 중단하여 상기 히터가 상기 엘씨디 패널의 온도를 조절하도록 하는 히터 제어부와,상기 엘씨디 패널에 영상 표시를 위한 광원을 제공하는 백라이트와,사용자로부터의 데이터 입력에 따라, 상기 백라이트의 온/오프 동작을 포함하는 밝기 조절 기능을 백라이트 제어부와,상기 영상처리를 위한 전원과 상기 백라이트 및 상기 히터를 제어하기 위한 전원을 각각 생성하여 제공하는 전원 생성부를 포함하며,상기 아날로그 영상 처리부는,상기 디지털 영상 데이터를 상기 아날로그 신호로 변환하여 출력하는 D/A변환부와,상기 D/A변환부로부터 출력된 아날로그 신호를 로우비디오 신호로 생성하여 출력하는 로우비디오 신호 생성부와,상기 D/A변환부로부터 출력된 아날로그 신호를 하이비디오 신호로 생성하여 출력하는 하이비디오 신호 생성부와,상기 로우 비디오신호와 하이 비디오신호의 기준신호를 생성하여 출력하는 오프셋 생성부와,멀티플렉서 제어 신호에 따라 상기 생성된 로우비디오 신호와 하이비디오 신호를 출력하는 멀티플렉서를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 LCD 구동 장치.

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 멀티플렉서는 4채널 SPDT(Single-Pole Double Throw) 스위치를 포함하고, 상기 멀티플렉서 제어 신호에 따라 스위칭 동작을 수행하여 매 프레임마다 각 수직라인에 로우비디오 신호와 하이비디오 신호를 번갈아가며 공급함을 특징으로 하는 LCD 구동 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 백라이트 제어부는,사용자에 의해 입력되는 데이터에 따라 상기 백라이트의 온/오프와 밝기 조절을 위한 제어신호를 출력하는 PWM(Pulse Width-Modulation) 드라이버와,상기 PWM 드라이버로부터의 제어 신호에 따라 상기 백라이트의 온/오프와 밝기 조절을 위한 스위칭을 수행하는 스위치를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 LCD 구동 장치.
