Abstract
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for manufacturing a solar cell module, which can greatly improve the lifespan of a solar cell module and lower the manufacturing time and manufacturing cost of the solar cell module. According to the present invention, the back plate of an electrode and a module of a back integrated cell (BIC) solar cell using a back integrated cell (BIC) type solar cell in which all electrodes of the solar cell are disposed on the back side of the solar cell to which light is irradiated. The electrodes disposed on the top are automatically aligned with each other to enable bonding, and the upper protective cap such as low iron tempered glass is covered and sealed. The back panel of the module has a metal wiring that connects the solar cell, the female and the pair of metal electrode patterns in series with each other, and an insulating film is coated on the part that is not in direct contact with the solar cell. The junction between the solar cell and the metal pattern already formed on the back panel of the solar cell is a low melting point metal, which is bonded by heating after cooling to around 200 degrees. By removing the resin-based adhesive that previously limited the life of the module in the same manner as described above, it is possible to manufacture a long-life module that can extend the life of the module by more than 50 years by direct automatic bonding with the solar cell and the module back panel.

The present invention relates to manufacturing a long-life solar cell module, and more particularly, to arrange the electrode of the solar cell on the back of the solar cell on the back of the solar cell is irradiated with light, and the electrodes disposed on the back plate of the electrode and the module It is sealed by putting a transparent protective cap on the upper part in the state of joining with male and female pairs. Conventionally, a resin-based adhesive is used between a solar cell connected in series or in parallel and a protective cap on the front surface, and a resin-based sealing technique is used between the solar cell and the back of the module. As shown in FIG. 1, the present invention relates to manufacturing a long-life module capable of extending the life of a module by more than two times by removing a resin-based adhesive that previously limited the module life and directly bonding the metal electrodes of the solar cell and the metal of the module back plate.
In order to manufacture a conventional solar cell module as shown in Figure 6 by attaching a tab on the electrode formed on the solar cell front and back and connected to each other. In the process of connecting several solar cells in series, there are problems such as difficulty in aligning the solar cells, increased contact resistance between the tabs connecting the solar cells, and poor contact. The present invention not only improves the lifespan of a solar cell module by removing the resin-based adhesive, but also female and male irregularities in the electrode formed on the solar cell and the electrode formed on the module back plate so that the alignment of the solar cell, which has been a problem in the manufacturing process, is automatic. It solves the problem of mechanical alignment on contact and mechanical strength on contact and reduces contact resistance than before, thus improving the energy conversion efficiency of the module.
This patent covers the existing limitations in improving the performance of solar photovoltaic system by securing solar cell and module performance in preparation for mass introduction of photovoltaic power generation, securing reliability, strengthening durability, enhancing safety, lowering price, and shortening manufacturing process time. It is a way to overcome.
2 illustrates a BIC solar cell structure used in the present patent. In FIG. 2,
In FIG. 3,
6 is a structure of a solar cell that was previously used for manufacturing a solar cell module. Since the electrodes are formed at the top and the bottom, 36 solar cell metrics were constructed by attaching separate connection tabs and connecting them in series after solar cell manufacturing. To fix the solar cell matrix, the module was completed by using a transparent resin-based adhesive or by placing a film such as EVA on the front and back of the solar cell matrix by vacuum bonding at a temperature of 120 degrees. Resin series used in the conventional solar cell module as shown in Figure 5 was the main cause of limiting the life of the solar cell module due to aging phenomena such as discoloration, cracking when exposed to ultraviolet rays of sunlight for a long time. Therefore, in order to extend the life of the solar cell module, it is essential to develop a solar cell module manufacturing method for removing the resin-based sealant.
4A illustrates a solar cell manufacturing process in which a BIC solar cell electrode is integrated.
The solar cell module manufacturing method of removing the resin-based sealant from the solar cell module can be formed by maintaining a certain distance on the outside and removing the resin-based sealant, which is a cause of aging on the front surface, and applying a spacer and a vacuum seal. Do. However, this technique is not reliable in thermal expansion and contraction due to temperature difference between cold and heat. In particular, the solar cell module manufacturing used the same process of all existing processes, such as attaching tabs, configuration of the solar cell series connection matrix, sealing process using the back EVA, had a limit in price reduction.
It is necessary to develop a technology for mass production of new solar cells that eliminates both the thermal problem and the rear EVA sealing process by attaching tabs while removing resin-based sealants in solar cell modules.
The present invention removes the resin-based adhesive that previously limited the life of the module and directly bonded to the solar cell and the module back plate to achieve a module life more than double the life of the module, and to the electrode and the module back plate formed in the BIC solar cell By giving the female and male irregularities to the formed electrodes, the automatic alignment is performed, and the contact resistance generated during the modularization is achieved to be 0.7 ohm or less in the 50 watt module standard to improve the energy conversion efficiency of the module. This overcomes existing limitations in improving the performance of solar cell modules, securing reliability, reinforcing durability, enhancing safety, and reducing prices.

4 shows a BIC solar cell manufacturing process and a long life solar cell module manufacturing process using the BIC solar cell. The bonding between the solar cell and the module back plate including the female and male electrode patterns forms a low melting point metal in contact with the solar cell of the module back plate, and then heats it to around 200 degrees and then cools and joins the module. The solar cell and module backplane are joined directly by a low melting point metal. It is thermally superior to resin-based adhesives because it proceeds around 200 degrees, which is higher than resin-based. By designing the solar cell structure and the electrode structure of ehbf in pairs, there is no need to use resin-based adhesives, and the processes such as solar cell tab, solar cell matrix, matrix transfer, relocation, and lamination are reduced and simplified. It is possible to achieve low cost and high yield by simplifying the process, and it is possible to achieve efficiency improvement of the solar cell module by improving contact resistance through direct bonding between metals.
As described above, in the method of manufacturing a solar cell module according to the present invention, a resin-based adhesive which is a main cause of limiting the life of a solar cell module due to aging phenomenon such as discoloration and cracking after long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays of the conventional solar light is removed. Long life is possible.
Conventionally, in order to manufacture a solar cell module, it is difficult to align solar cells in the process of attaching tabs to the electrodes formed on the front and back of the solar cell, yields due to poor contact between the tabs connecting the solar cells, and complexity of the process. There was a problem of decline. The solar cells are automatically aligned so that the electrodes formed on the solar cell and the electrodes formed on the back of the module are provided with female and male irregularities to automatically align and solve the mechanical strength problem of the contact, and the contact resistance can also be reduced. Can improve the energy conversion efficiency.
