Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a cluster driving control system and method, and in particular, each vehicle buried in a certain interval on the road to obtain their location information, the ad hoc communication between vehicles, the device that acts as a server around the road The present invention relates to a system and a method for controlling a vehicle to perform a cluster driving based on location information in an environment in which various traffic services are provided by communicating with an infrastructure based on vehicles installed on a road.
In the conventional cluster driving method, the vehicle itself measures the position coordinates, the driving direction angle, and the driving speed in real time using GPS, and exchanges the measured information between vehicles in the cluster through request / response based ad-hoc communication. And drive clustered based on the exchanged information. However, GPS does not operate in a tunnel and has a disadvantage in that accuracy is large. In addition, the existing scheme did not consider the cluster management method when several clusters were formed. Therefore, there is a need for an efficient cluster formation, release, and reformation method based on location information by building an infrastructure on the road.
The conventional cluster driving method described above considers only a communication method between vehicles in a cluster in cluster driving, and does not consider an efficient communication method between vehicles (including clusters) in proximity to a road including a plurality of lanes. In particular, the mixed situation of crowded vehicles and individual vehicles was not considered further. Therefore, there is a need for an efficient resource management method for interference-free communication between clusters and individual vehicles using the road infrastructure.
In addition, in the conventional cluster driving method, when driving in the same direction on the driving road or grouping toward the same destination, the GPS is used to monitor the real-time position coordinates, the driving direction angle, and the driving speed to recognize the occurrence of the accident. The method has been proposed. When the information on the accident area is transmitted from the GPS, subsequent vehicles at the accident location are the same as their own vehicles using RF communication using the frequency of the 5.8GHz band, which is the basis of near-field communication, through the ad-hoc communication method between the vehicles. It provides information on driving and congestion areas and information on the cause of congestion to rear vehicles traveling in the direction. At this time, in order to reduce the probability of interference and collision in communication between vehicles, information is transmitted and received by the CSMA / TD method. As described above, the method of transmitting the accident information by the ad-hoc communication method has a larger transmission delay than broadcasting the accident fact by the centralized communication unit. In addition, since all vehicles communicate in an ad-hoc communication method, problems arise in terms of reliable transmission of information such as information may be distorted or poorly transmitted.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem, and an object of the present invention is to enable an efficient cluster driving method in a road environment capable of communicating with a road infrastructure in order to solve various problems of the existing cluster driving method.

1 is a view showing the configuration of a group
First, the
The
In particular, the road
The signal
FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a vehicle clustering on a road on which a cluster driving control system is installed. As shown in FIG. 2,
The positional information obtained by the system is conveyed to the subsequent vehicle along with the self-measured speed information. When the subsequent vehicle receives the position information and the speed information of the preceding vehicle, autonomous cluster driving is possible. Autonomous cluster driving means that the surrounding vehicles form a
In order to depart from the current cluster, the driving vehicle must notify other vehicles. In particular, the leading vehicle must exclude the leaving vehicle from the current cluster so that there is no error in the cluster management. In addition, in order for a self-driving vehicle or a cluster-driven vehicle to enter another cluster, it must communicate with the clustering vehicles that are driving around to know the appropriate cluster selection, the possibility of entering the cluster, and the position of the cluster to enter. . In order to ease the management of clusters and to reduce the possibility of out of clusters, they must enter a cluster heading to the same destination and consider the size of the cluster and the selection of the leading vehicle. In addition, each cluster has characteristics of high speed, medium speed, and low speed. On the other hand, for cluster management, such as departure and entry of the cluster vehicle, an efficient method for assigning a cluster ID, resource allocation and return for cluster communication, and communication between cluster vehicles is needed. In addition, in a situation in which a cluster running road and a cluster driving impossible are mixed, when a vehicle driving in a cluster reaches a road in which cluster driving is impossible, the cluster is safely dismantled to appropriately cope with a new environment. Even when a cluster arrives safely at its destination, the cluster must be dismantled and the information required for cluster formation, including the cluster ID, and the resources allocated to the cluster should be recovered. In addition, in a situation in which it is difficult to maintain a cluster, such as a case where a general vehicle is stuck between vehicles in a cluster driving or a part of the vehicle driving in a cluster is unable to pass due to a signal, it is necessary to remodel the cluster according to the situation. Management of such a cluster is performed through communication between the group vehicle and the road communication unit around the road. In order to manage a wide range of clusters, roadside communication units 3402 may share information and cooperate with each other, or assume a central system that manages roadside communication units. In addition, the communication between the
In the present invention, the information is basically exchanged between the vehicles through the ad hoc communication between the vehicles, but infrastructure-based communication may also be performed for the purpose of traffic management and providing various services. That is, in the present invention, by installing the
In the present invention, a cluster management method and a resource management method for efficient inter-vehicle communication using a road infrastructure described above will be described.
3 is a diagram illustrating a process in which the vehicle itself grasps driving information including a current position using GPS and autonomously clusters driving through vehicle-to-vehicle communication from the prior art. In the conventional cluster driving method, the vehicle itself measures position coordinates, driving direction angle, and driving speed in real time using GPS, and the measurement information is clustered through request / response based ad-hoc communication (S301 to S304). I exchange information between my vehicles and drive on the basis of the exchanged information. However, GPS does not operate in a tunnel and has a disadvantage in that accuracy is large.
4 is a diagram illustrating a cluster initial formation process between a cluster driving control system and a cluster registered vehicle. 5 is a diagram illustrating a method in which a specific vehicle participates in a registered cluster. 6 is a diagram illustrating a process of leaving a specific vehicle from the registered
(S707). FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating a method in which a specific vehicle leaves a registered cluster and participates in another registered cluster. When moving from a cluster to another cluster, similarly to a method in which a general vehicle not belonging to the cluster of FIG. 5 participates in the cluster, a vehicle (hereinafter, referred to as a cluster moving vehicle) 704 to move to another cluster is transferred from the
8 is a diagram illustrating a process of releasing a cluster. 9 is a diagram illustrating a form in which a cluster is reformed when a general vehicle enters the cluster. 만약 "군집 유지 확인 request" 메시지를 수신한 차량이 군집의 마지막 차량(1014)이라면 자신의 앞 차량 에게 차례로 "군집 유지 확인 response" 메시지로써 응답을 한다(S1004 내지 S1006).10 is a diagram illustrating a process of checking cluster maintenance between vehicles in a cluster. The "cluster maintenance confirmation request / response" message may include the size of the cluster and information of the other party to determine the number of vehicles in the current cluster that are currently transmitting or receiving the "cluster maintenance confirmation request / response" message. FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating a process of reforming the
12 is a diagram illustrating a state in which lanes are separately allocated according to the speed of vehicles in a group. Vehicles form clusters according to the speed at which they basically travel. At this time, fast vehicles need to pay more attention to safety when forming clusters, so the distance between vehicles should be increased. In addition, because of the high speed of travel, more vehicles can be moved at the same time in the area where the traffic light is located, so the size of the cluster can be made larger by increasing the number of vehicles in the cluster. The clusters are divided by the speeds of the vehicles, and the same roads are assigned to the clusters with similar speeds. For example, as shown in FIG. 12, the low lanes may be divided in order from the
FIG. 13 is a diagram illustrating a state in which resources are allocated to avoid interference in communication between lanes and within the same lane.
First, by allocating different resources according to lanes to communicate with each other, signal interference from neighboring lanes can be avoided, thereby enabling communication between vehicles in different lanes without collision. However, such a method still exists in the same lane of interference (between driving clusters, cars in clusters and cars in individual lanes). Accordingly, the present invention proposes a method of avoiding mutual interference even when a vehicle is driving in the same lane by orthogonal repartitioning of resources allocated to the lane.
FIG. 13 illustrates an example of avoiding interference between signals between adjacent vehicles when performing communication between vehicles on a road. On a four-lane road, the time slots are divided into four times (
In the proposed method, when vehicles using the same resources in the same lane are close to each other, interference problems may occur. Therefore, in the present invention, when a vehicle using the same resource in the same lane approaches or when the vehicle changes lanes, the neighboring communication units reassign resources so that interference does not occur in consideration of resources used by clusters in the area. give.
The proposed scheme is an example of a case in which a personal vehicle is allocated a communication resource from a roadside communication unit to communicate with a vehicle (a group or a personal vehicle) in the vicinity, but is not limited thereto. It can be applied in various ways, such as where resources are allocated only to the user.
In addition, various techniques such as TDMA, FDMA, CDMA, and the like may be applied to a method of allocating different resources between different lanes and dividing resources given orthogonally between vehicles in the same lane. In the case of FIG. 13, the resource allocation between lanes is TDMA and the resource allocation in the same lane is FDMA.
