The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for reusing and concentrating sand filtration backwash water using an immersion hollow fiber membrane.
To this end, the present invention removes the solids contained in the backwash discharged water at the front end of the adjustment tank 3, as well as to produce the backwashed discharged water introduced into the module of the membrane as clean treated water and to generate the discharged water having a higher concentration of solids. It is characterized in that the device 10 is provided.
The present invention configured as described above is capable of securing a larger amount of processing water per module than the conventional recovery tank process and the tubular membrane filtration process using an immersion hollow fiber membrane process, which not only saves energy but also reduces site size, reduces additional facilities, and compacts facilities. In order to obtain clean treated water such as purified water by membrane filtration, it is possible to control the discharge recovery in the immersion tank regardless of the inlet concentration of the backwash discharged water and to set the desired concentration. It is possible to discharge a small amount of high concentration concentrated water, which greatly improves the quality and reliability of the product so that consumers can plant a good image.

Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for reusing and concentrating sand filter paper backwashing water using an immersion hollow fiber membrane, and more particularly, to obtain a large amount of treated water and to save energy by immersing a hollow fiber membrane having a high packing density. In addition, it is possible to obtain clean water quality more than purified water through membrane filtration, and also in the tank in which the hollow fiber membrane is immersed, the backwash discharged water is concentrated to a high concentration such as high concentration of discharge sludge (0.5 ~ 2%) and a small amount of concentrated water. It is discharged periodically. This can lead to improved recovery rates due to clean treated water and high concentration concentrations.
As is well known, although the quantity and nature of effluents (sludges) from the water purification process is closely related to the water purification process, effluent treatment plants often tend to be treated separately from the water purification process. In recent years, however, as the discharged water quality standards have been strengthened, wastewater treatment has been increasingly recognized as an important part of the water purification process. In most conventional water purification processes, there are two kinds of effluents: one is sediment sludge (sludge) discharged from the sedimentation basin, and the other is back washing sludge (effluent) from the backwash process. The amount of sludge is determined by the characteristics of the raw water, the amount of flocculant used, the performance of the water purification process, the efficiency of the sedimentation basin and the sludge discharge method, and the frequency of backwashing.
On the other hand, the wastewater treatment process occurring in the water purification plant may vary depending on the water quality of the raw water and operating conditions of the water purification plant, but is generally the same as FIG. That is, backwash sludge having a concentration of about several hundred ppm after sand filtration is precipitated in the recovery tank 1 and then sent to the adjustment tank 3, and the supernatant after precipitation is sent back to the water well. Precipitated backwash sludge and precipitated sludge (solids content of approximately 0.5 to 2%) undergo a precipitation process in the bath (3). The supernatant here is sent to the recovery tank (1) and then reprecipitated. In addition, the sludge precipitated in the adjusting tank (3) is introduced into the concentration tank (4) and concentrated. Most of the concentration tanks (4) in Korea's water purification plants are about 2 to 5% of the sludge solidified by gravity. This concentrated sludge is sent to a sludge storage tank, where up to 5% solids are dewatered through the dehydrator 5 after polymer injection for improved dehydration. And the supernatant generated in the concentration tank (4) is discharged to the river, the dehydration filtrate at the time of dehydration is introduced into the concentration tank (4) and concentrated.
However, the above-described prior art has caused a number of problems.
In other words, the existing wastewater treatment facility is very complicated compared to the purpose of use, and the size of the facility is not only large, but also requires a large area, requires a lot of maintenance and operation costs, and the initial investment of the facility is expensive. In addition, there are many problems such as excessive investment compared to the treatment efficiency and the purpose of use, and the application of small water purification plants is disadvantageous.
In addition, the existing patent 'apparatus and method for reusing and concentrating backwash water from sand filter paper using tubular membranes' in order to reduce energy consumption to maintain the flow rate when it is blocked in the cross-flow method, which is a general operation method of tubular membranes. Although the energy-saving effect has been proved by the dead-end operation, it has the biggest disadvantage that the membrane area capable of raw water treatment is very small compared to the hollow fiber membrane.
The present invention has been made to solve all the problems of the prior art and the prior patent as described above, the first purpose of the reuse and concentration of the backwash discharged water discharged from the water purification plant using the immersion hollow fiber membrane, the second purpose is The backwash discharged through the membrane is designed to obtain the same water quality as clean water that can be used immediately, and the third purpose is to introduce a submerged hollow fiber membrane to make the required area more compact and smaller than existing facilities and prior patents. The fourth purpose is to minimize the waste of water resources by improving the recovery rate of the existing water treatment plant because all the discharged water other than the discharged concentrated water is recovered, and the fifth purpose is to concentrate the backwash discharged water to the solids concentration level of the sludge. Process of backwash discharged by the recovery tank can be omitted. The sixth objective is to control the number of discharges in the immersion tank irrespective of the inflow concentration of the backwash discharged water so that it can be set to the desired concentration and discharge a small amount of concentrated concentrated water. 7 The purpose of this is to greatly improve the quality and reliability of the product, and to reduce the area and the number of required membranes more than the prior patents.A device and method for reusing and concentrating backwash effluent from sand filtration using economically submerged hollow fiber membranes To provide.

Apparatus and method for reusing and concentrating sand filter paper backwashing water using an immersion hollow fiber membrane applied to the present invention are configured as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
In the following description of the present invention, if it is determined that a detailed description of a related known function or configuration may unnecessarily obscure the subject matter of the present invention, the detailed description thereof will be omitted.
The following terms are terms set in consideration of functions in the present invention, which may vary depending on the intention or custom of the producer, and their definitions should be made based on the contents throughout the specification.
First, the present invention is a device for treating the backwash discharge water from the sand filter paper generated in the water purification plant, as shown in Figure 2 in the front of the adjustment tank (3) to remove the solids contained in the backwash discharge water as well as introduced into the module of the membrane Submerged hollow fiber membrane filtration device 10 for producing backwashed wastewater as clean treated water and generating effluent with a higher concentration of solids is provided.
That is, the immersion hollow fiber membrane filtration device 10 will be described in more detail with reference to FIG. 3 as follows.
The sand contained in the backwash discharge water has an adverse effect on the pump, so after passing through it, an autostrainer 11 flowing into the raw water tank 12 and a thickening tank 14 connected to one side of the raw water tank 12, A treatment water tank 15 is connected to one side of the hollow fiber membrane 13 and the hollow fiber membrane 13 which are immersed inside the concentration tank 14.
In this case, the reason for using the auto strainer 11 is as follows.
In other words, the autostrainer 11 can be regarded as a larger sieve than a fine sieve as a membrane, and the larger masses are first filtered from the larger sieve and the smaller substances are filtered out of the membrane. This is a pretreatment facility to prevent the membrane from clogging easily.
And the inside of the raw water tank 12 applied to the present invention is provided with a stirrer 12a for evenly stirring the raw water flowing through the auto strainer (11).
A suction pump 13c is installed to produce the treated water in the hollow fiber membrane 13, and the treated water produced in the hollow fiber membrane 13 is transferred to the treated water tank 15 through the treated water pipe 13b.
The present invention injects air into the diffuser (13a) installed in the lower end of the hollow fiber membrane 13 by installing a blower or a compressor in order to remove particulate matter adhered to the membrane surface due to the filtration action of the hollow fiber membrane (13) .
Similarly, the treated water is introduced into the hollow fiber membrane 13 through the backwash water pipe 13d using a backwash pump 13e to wash away substances causing membrane fouling due to the filtration action of the hollow fiber membrane 13. Send it.
In addition, the suction and backwash pumps of the hollow fiber membrane 13 applied to the present invention may be installed as shown in FIG. 3 or one as shown in FIG. 4 to simultaneously perform suction and backwash through a valve operation. It is also possible.
In the present invention, the concentrated water concentrated in the concentration tank 14 is sent to the adjustment tank by the pump through the concentrated water discharge pipe 14a installed at the bottom of the concentration tank 14, and is designed to enable discharge recovery and control of the discharge amount.
On the other hand, the present invention may be variously modified and may take various forms in applying the above configuration.
And it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the specific forms referred to in the above description, but rather includes all modifications, equivalents and substitutions within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. It should be understood that.
Referring to the operation and effect of the apparatus and method for reusing and concentrating the backwash effluent of sand filtration using the present invention immersed hollow fiber membrane configured as described above are as follows.
First, the present invention introduces an immersion hollow fiber membrane filtration process 10 in place of the conventional recovery tank as shown in FIG.
That is, the present invention, in treating the backwash discharge water generated in the water purification plant, is provided with an immersion type membrane filtration device 10 to remove the solids contained in the backwash discharge water generated in the water purification plant, in particular backwash discharged water introduced into the module of the membrane Produces clean treated water and generates effluent with a higher concentration of solids.
According to the present invention, sand contained in the backwash discharge water adversely affects the pump, so that the sand is passed through the autostrainer 11 and then supplied to the raw water tank 12.
Then, the treated water that has passed through the immersion hollow fiber membrane 13 is returned to the impingement tank 2 through the treated water tank 15, and the concentrated concentrated water is subjected to a step of supplying the adjusted tank 3.
In more detail, in the present invention, the raw water passing through the auto strainer 11 is introduced into the raw water tank 12 and stirred through the stirrer 12a.
Subsequently, the raw water introduced into the raw water tank 12 is introduced into the thickening tank 14 by the level sensor. Raw water flowing into the thickening tank 14 is removed through the hollow fiber membrane 13 immersed in the thickening tank 14 during the filtration process in which the suction pump 13c operates, and only the treated water of clean water quality is removed. It is transferred to the treatment water tank 15 through this treatment water pipe 13b.
That is, in the immersion type whole filtration method, since the entire suction flow rate is filtered through the membrane surface, the suspension material or colloid in the raw water does not pass through the membrane surface, so that the phenomenon of deposition occurs. Therefore, since the amount of suction flow is filtered, the productivity is excellent, but as the filtration proceeds, membrane fouling is intensified, so continuous operation is impossible, and physical cleaning such as air cleaning or backwashing is necessary.
As part of this, air is injected into the diffuser 13a provided at the lower end of the hollow fiber membrane 13 through blow or compressor. The injected air rises from the lower end of the hollow fiber membrane 13 to the upper end to shake off the hollow fibers, and the particles deposited on the hollow fiber membrane surface are degassed from the hollow fiber by the breaking of the hollow fibers. Since the concentration in the concentration tank is 0.5-1.0%, the air cleaning is performed continuously.
In addition, the backwashing process is performed after the filtration process. When the backwashing pump 13e is operated, the treated water in the treatment water tank 15 flows into the hollow fiber membrane through the backwash water valve 13e and exits into the concentration tank. Unlike the air cleaning, the backwashing process removes fine particles or colloidal particles that penetrate into the membrane rather than removing suspended substances or colloidal substances attached to the membrane surface, and injects treated water from the inner diameter side to the outer diameter side of the hollow fiber to wash the membrane. It is a cleaning method. The backwash flow rate is 1 to 1.5 times the treatment flow rate. In the backwashing process, 3 ~ 5ppm of NaOCl is injected in order to prevent bacterial propagation of the backwash valve.
The submerged hollow fiber membrane process of the present invention is carried out in two stages of a filtration process in which the suction pump 13c operates and a backwash process in which the backwash pump 13e operates, and the filtration backwash process is one cycle.
The present invention also has a bottom of the concentration tank 12 is formed in a cone shape to further settle more favorable, the concentrated water discharge pipe 12d provided at the bottom of the concentration tank 12 so that the precipitated concentrated water can be discharged well It is installed at the bottom. In addition, it is possible to control the number of discharges and discharges so that it can be concentrated to the desired concentration regardless of the inflow source properties.
In addition, the solids concentration of the discharged concentrated water is the solids concentration of the sludge, and the discharged concentrated water is sent to the control tank for treatment.
In the present invention, the backwash discharged water is filtered in a clean state, such as purified water, so as to reduce the pollutant load when circulating to the tapping well (2), as well as to reduce the discharged water to be treated. Compared to the density and tubular membrane, it has a membrane area of more than 20 times per module, which shows 20 times more processing performance per module than the 'patent and method for reusing and concentrating backwash water from sand filtration using tubular membrane'. Therefore, the economic advantages are secured by the reduction of the site and the reduction of compact equipment.
The technical idea of the apparatus and method for reusing and concentrating the backwash effluent of sand filter paper using the immersed hollow fiber membrane of the present invention can actually repeat the same result. In particular, by implementing the present invention, the technical development is promoted to promote industrial development. It can contribute and is worth protecting.
