- 하기 화학식 Ia의 키랄 화합물:상기 식에서,W1 및 W2중 하나는 -Z1-A1-(Z2-A2)m-R이고 다른 하나는 H이며;Z1 및 Z2는 서로 독립적으로 -OCO- 또는 단일 결합이고;A1 및 A2는 서로 독립적으로 1,4-페닐렌 또는 1,4-사이클로헥실렌이고, A1은 단일 결합일 수 있고;m은 0, 1 또는 2이고;R은 탄소수 1 내지 12의 알킬 또는 알콕시이거나, 화학식 P-Sp-X(여기서, X는 O 또는 단일 결합이고, Sp는 탄소수 1 내지 12의 알킬렌 기 또는 단일 결합이고, P는 아크릴레이트이다)를 갖는 중합가능한 기이다.

- 제 12 항에 따른 혼합물을 포함하는 콜레스테릭 또는 표면 안정화 콜레스테릭 텍스처(SSCT) 디스플레이.
- 제 8 항에 따른 중합가능한 혼합물로부터 수득된, 컬러 필터, 광대역 반사 편광기, 패턴화된 필름 또는 보안 마크.
- 제 15 항의 화합물을 중간체로 이용하여 제 1 항 또는 제 4 항에 따른 키랄 화합물을 제조하는 방법.
