본 발명은 중차량용 타이어에 관한 것으로, 특히, 숄더부의 러그에 형성시키는 홈을 개량하여서 된 타이어에 관한 것이다. 종래의 타이어에 있어서는 숄더부의 러그에 형성시키는 홈은 그 크기가 작아 방열성능이 부족하고 트레드와 사이드월 사이의 움직임을 차단하는 효과가 적었던 바, 본 발명은 숄더 러그부에 주행 방향으로 기다란 홈을 형성시키되 홈의 간격이 러그와 러그 사이 간격의 40~45%가 되게 간헐적으로 형성시키며, 홈의 양단을 홈의 직경보다 큰 직경을 가지는 구(球) 형태의 공간부로 형성시켜서 된 타이어를 제공하여, 숄더부의 강성을 유지하면서도 트레드와 사이드월 사이를 이격시키어 트레드의 움직임이 사이드월에 전달되는 것을 감소시키며, 나아가 방열 효과를 상승시킬 수 있게 한 것임.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
