Abstract

A touch screen device for a vehicle is provided to secure easy data input of a driver, and to have a protective film for protecting a touch screen. A touch screen device for a vehicle comprises a touch screen panel(50), at least more than one pair of sliding panels(10,20,30,40), a link mechanism and sliding grooves(111,112,113,114). The touch screen panel is installed in a steering wheel cap(110) of the vehicle. The sliding panels are installed in the front of the touch screen panel and opens/closes the touch screen panel. The link mechanism connects the sliding panels to each other so that the touch screen panel is opened/closed by interlocking with at least one sliding panel. The sliding groove is formed on the steering wheel cap so as to be not interfered with the steering wheel cap in case of opening/closing the sliding panel.
