Abstract

A radial tire for a truck and a bus is provided to reduce separation phenomenon between layers constituting the tire by installing a wave-shape section at a bead section that is rarely deformed by air pressure. A radial tire for a truck and a bus comprises a tread(1), a sidewall(2) and bead sections(3,31). A cacas(4) is installed between the bead sections(3,31). The code of the cacas(4) is made from a wire. A part of the cacas code has a wave shape. The wave-shape section formed in the cacas code has a length within the range of 20mm to 30mm. The waveform direction of the cacas code is horizontal to a cacas surface or is perpendicular to the cacas surface. The wave-shape section has an amplitude twice or three times as large as the diameter of the cacas wire.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to tires for truck buses and, more particularly, to tires made of steel carcass cord.

When pneumatic pressure is applied to the tire, it is supported by the carcass, which is the major component of the carcass that is supported by the carcass. Therefore, the pressure caused by air pressure is ultimately supported by the carcass cord.

In pneumatic tires, the air pressure applied during traveling changes from time to time, and excessive pressure is temporarily applied. For tires made of carcass cords, the cord can accommodate such pressure changes, but for tires with cords made of steel, there is no way to absorb the tension applied to the steel cords. There is a problem that the strength of the steel cord is lowered as the tension is excessively changed as it changes.

Thus, in the related art, tires which are adapted to absorb a change tension applied to the carcass cord by forming a part of the carcass cord into a waveform have been provided in JP 1999-042909. However, in the conventional tire in which a part of the carcass cord is formed into a wave, the corrugation part is formed in the belt bottom of the tread. When the carcass is stretched at the bottom of the belt layer, the carcass layer and the belt layer are separated. It was found that there was a significant shortcoming that accelerated the phenomenon.

Accordingly, the present invention, while forming a portion of the carcass code as a waveform as in the prior art above, the position of the corrugated portion is installed, the upper and lower centering around the carcass turn-up edge of the least concern about the occurrence of delamination due to expansion By setting it in the 30 cm range, it is possible to reduce the separation phenomenon between the layers constituting the tire while absorbing the changing tension of the corrugated carcass cord to reduce the strength of the cord, attached to the present invention Referring to the drawings as follows.

It consists of a tread 1, a side wall 2 and a bead part 3, a carcass 4 is provided between the bead part 3 and the other bead part 31, and the cord of the carcass 4 is provided. (5) is composed of a wire, and a part of the carcass cord 5 made of a wire is a corrugated portion, in the present invention, the upper corrugated portion is a total length of 20 ~ 30mm up and down around the carcass turn-up edge (6) Characterized in that set to.

The present inventors found that the portion of the tire having the smallest change in stretching due to the air pressure is the bead portion, and therefore, it is preferable to install the corrugated portion of the carcass cord as described above near the bead portion. Also, it was found that it is effective to place the center of the corrugated portion at the turn-up edge portion such that the corrugated portion does not cause separation of the carcass turn-up edge portion even in the portion near the bead portion.

The present invention also provides a tire in which the amplitude direction of the corrugated carcass cord is formed horizontally on the carcass surface and a tire hydrated on the carcass surface. In another aspect, the present invention provides a tire formed in a form in which the corrugated portion of the carcass cord is wound like a coil.

It is preferable to form the waveform amplitude of the above-described corrugated portion at two to three times the diameter of the carcass wire. When the amplitude is formed as 4 ~ 8 times the diameter of the cord as in the prior art, but the shock absorption effect is excellent, but there is a high risk of causing interlayer separation.

In the present invention, by forming a portion of the carcass code into a waveform, the bead is a portion of the wave portion is the least deformation by the air pressure while absorbing the tension that changes the carcass code of the waveform to reduce the strength of the cord Although formed near the portion, by setting the installation portion in the upper and lower range 30cm or less around the carcass turn-up edge, there is an effect that it is possible to reduce the separation phenomenon between the layers constituting the tire.
