The present invention relates to a mask for recording holographic data, a method for manufacturing the same, and a method for recording holographic data, and more particularly, to a mask for recording holographic data used for recording holographic data on a storage medium, and a method for manufacturing the same. A holographic data recording method.
There are various data recording apparatuses which are widely used in recent years. Typical data recording apparatuses include semiconductor memory, CD, HD-DVD, and Blu-ray. A more advanced data recorder is the holographic data recorder.
DVD(digital versatile disc)는 현재 계속해서 진화하고 있지만, 50GB(giga byte) 수준에서 기록용량의 한계에 이를 것으로 예상된다. Digital versatile discs (DVDs) are still evolving, but they are expected to reach the limit of recording capacity at 50 gigabytes (giga byte). However, holographic data recording devices are expected to be capable of 1TB (terabyte), and the degree of integration is expected to be about 10 times higher than that of DVD.
The data recording method of the holographic data recording apparatus is different from the conventional general recording method. The holographic data recording device interferes with one point by using Fourier transform method for the entire information of the plane unlike the DVD method that records brightness information one by one for each specific coordinate to record data. Page-Oriented Memory is used to record the interference fringe. In addition, the holographic data recording technology records data in units of pages, and the input / output method also uses a parallel method and can support a speed 150 times faster than a current DVD in transmission speed.
On the other hand, the holographic data recording apparatus irradiates the reference light and the signal light to record data. Some of the holographic data recording devices that have been developed so far have been developed in the form of discs, such as CDs and DVDs. The holographic data recorder, developed and released by Japan's optware company, is in the form of a 12 cm diameter disc with the same diameter as a CD or DVD.
이러한 디스크 형태의 홀로그래픽 데이터 기록장치는 WORM(Write Once Read Many) 방식이나, RW(read/write memory)이 주로 개발되어 왔다. Such disk-type holographic data recording apparatus has been mainly developed by write once read many (WORM) method, but read / write memory (RW) has been mainly developed. Recently, a technology for a holographic data recording device using a read only memory (ROM) method using a faster copying technology has been disclosed. The ROM type holographic data recording apparatus is effective for mass duplication of discs.
As a prior art for such a holographic data recording apparatus, there is a Korean Patent Application Publication No. 10-2005-0100168, Holographic Information Recording and Reproducing Device and Holographic Information Recording Method. The patent discloses two-dimensional data incident on the entire disc at one time by using a mask patterned with a predetermined pattern, which is a data pattern, for mass reproduction of the holographic data storage medium. The reference light multiplexes the reference light at various angles using a conical mirror located at the bottom of the disk. The disk used is a transparent material. The data is recorded by the signal light passing through the mask and the reference light incident on the substrate.
However, the reference light passes through the substrate and a portion of the reference light is reflected by the blocking layer of the mask. The reflected reference light is incident on the substrate again, and at the same time, the signal light passing through the mask is also incident on the substrate. As a result, unwanted interference fringes may be generated on the substrate, thereby causing the dynamic range (DR) of the disk to be eroded.

That is, the two-dimensional plane data can be recorded using one mask, and then replaced with another mask, and then the entire two-dimensional plane data can be recorded at different positions by changing the incident angle of the reference light. In the following embodiments, embodiments of the mask and mask manufacturing method and holographic data recording method used at this time will be described in sequence.
1 is a cross-sectional view showing a mask for recording holographic data according to an embodiment of the present invention. The mask for recording holographic data according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a
The
The photochromic material may be silver chloride (AgCl) and other light absorbers may be used. Reversible reaction of silver chloride takes place, allowing for repeated reuse. The reversible reaction of silver chloride is shown in the following formula (1) and (2).
Formula 1 represents the forward reaction, and Formula 2 represents the reverse reaction. The forward reaction is faster than the reverse reaction. When positive reactions occur, silver ions absorb light and cause darken states. As an example, when 0.01% of silver is added to the
The thickness of the
In Equation 1, T denotes transmittance, I denotes intensity of transmitted light, Io denotes intensity of incident light, β denotes an absorption coefficient per length through which light passes, and χ denotes a distance through which light passes.
In Equation 2, c represents the concentration of the absorption stage, ε represents the extinction coefficient (absorption amount per unit concentration).
