Claims (9)
- 제 1전극집전체와 상기 제 1전극집전체의 적어도 한 면에 형성되는 제 1전극활물질층을 구비하는 제 1전극판과, 제 2전극집전체와 상기 제 2전극집전체의 적어도 한 면에 형성되는 제 2전극활물질층을 구비하는 제 2전극판 및 제 1전극탭과 제 2전극탭을 포함하는 전극조립체와,상기 전극조립체를 수용하는 캔과,상기 캔의 상단개구부를 밀봉하는 캡조립체를 포함하여 이루어지는 리튬 이차전지에 있어서,상기 캔은 장곡률반경부와 단곡률반경부를 포함하는 타원형의 기둥 형상으로 형성되며, 상기 장곡률반경부의 반경이 상기 단곡률반경부의 반경보다 크게 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
- 삭제
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 전극조립체는 상기 캔의 형상에 부합되도록 장곡률반경부와 단곡률반경부를 포함하여 형성되며, 상기 제 1전극탭은 상기 전극조립체의 장곡률반경부에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 1전극활물질층의 단부는 상기 전극조립체의 장곡률반경부에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 제 1전극활물질층의 단부와 상기 제 1전극탭은 각각 상기 전극조립체의 서로 마주보는 장곡률반경부에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 제 1전극활물질층의 단부와 상기 제 1전극탭은 상기 전극조립체의 동일한 장곡률반경부에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 캡조립체는상기 전극조립체의 상부에 위치하는 안전밴트,상기 안전밴트의 상부에 위치하는 전류차단수단(CID), 및상기 전류차단수단의 상부에 위치하는 캡업을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 캡조립체는상기 캔의 상단 개구부에 용접되어 상기 캔을 밀봉하는 캡플레이트,상기 캡플레이트의 하면에 결합되는 절연플레이트, 및상기 절연플레이트의 하면에 장착되는 터미널플레이트를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 1전극판은 양극판이며, 상기 제 2전극판은 음극판인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차전지.
