Claims (12)
- 양극, 음극 및 전해질을 구비한 전극 조립체 및 상기 전극 조립체를 감싸는 포장재를 포함하는 전기화학소자에 있어서, 양극을 외부 단자와 연결시키는 양극 리드, 음극을 외부 단자와 연결시키는 음극 리드, 또는 양쪽 전극 리드가 여기에 전기적으로 연결된 보호소자를 구비하고, 상기 보호소자가 포장재 내부 공간에 위치하고, 보호소자를 구비한 전극 리드가 보호소자의 양측에서 각각 절곡되어 보호소자의 최대 평면이 전극 리드가 존재하는 포장재 내 측면 상에 적층 배치되며, 전기적 단락을 방지하도록 절연 필름으로 상기 리드 또는 상기 보호소자를 테이핑한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 양극, 음극 및 전해질을 구비한 전극 조립체가 내면과 외면을 갖는 포장재에 의해 포장된 전기화학소자에 있어서, 양극을 외부 단자와 연결시키는 양극 리드, 음극을 외부 단자와 연결시키는 음극 리드, 또는 양쪽 전극 리드가 여기에 전기적으로 연결된 보호소자를 구비하고, 상기 보호소자가 포장재의 내면과 내면의 접착부위에 배치되고, 포장재의 접착부위를 절곡하여 보호소자를 구비한 접착부위가 포장재의 측면에 적층된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 보호소자는 상기 전기화학소자의 온도 상승시 전류를 차단하는 보호소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 보호소자는 PTC, 온도 퓨즈(thermal fuse), 바이메탈 및 제너 다이오드로 구성된 군에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 전기적 단락을 방지하도록 절연 필름으로 상기 리드 또는 상기 보호소자를 테이핑한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 전해액의 침투를 억제할 수 있는 polymer로 상기 보호소자를 코팅한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 보호소자는 상기 보호소자에 의해 연결된 리드의 길이방향으로부터 벗어난 방향으로 보호소자 부위가 더 연장된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 보호소자는 상기 보호소자에 의해 연결된 리드의 길이방향에 직교하는 방향으로 보호소자가 더 연장된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 양극 리드 또는 음극 리드와 상기 보호소자가 용접에 의하여 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기화학소자는 적층된 전극 조립체에 연결된 양극 리드와 음극 리드가 각각 절곡되어 V-form을 형성하는 적층(stack)형 전극 조립체를 구비하고, 상기 보호소자가 상기 양극 리드와 상기 음극 리드가 각각 형성한 V-form에 의해 형성된 공간에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항의 전기화학소자를 단수 또는 복수로 구비한 전기화학소자 팩.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 전기화학소자가 병렬 또는 직렬 연결의 조합으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기화학소자 팩.
