BACKGROUND OF THE
Recently, with the expansion of digital cameras, consumers' desire for miniaturization and high performance of cameras is increasing. However, miniaturization and high performance have opposite problems. In general, a camera module is composed of a shutter, an aperture, an ND filter, and the like to correct exposure.
Aperture is a mechanism for adjusting the amount of light entering the lens. Inside the lens is a wing that blocks light called the aperture wing. Of course, if you block the front light does not come in, but slightly open to adjust the amount of light.
The camera receives light using the size of the aperture of the lens and the shutter speed at which the shutter curtain moves. The wider the aperture, the larger the hole through which light enters, and the more light comes in. The longer the shutter speed, the longer it takes to receive light.
Aperture is indicated by each step as ..2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22, etc., and shutter speed by .... 30, 60, 125, 250, 500 ... The difference between the steps is that the amount of light is double or one half. Like a seesaw, the smaller the aperture number, the larger the shutter speed number, and the smaller the shutter speed, the larger the aperture number. When you take a picture, a half shutter means you press the shutter button halfway, which means you are in focus.
On the other hand, to miniaturize the camera, it is necessary to reduce the parts used for exposure compensation, and conversely, to improve performance, all of the aforementioned parts must be used.
However, in the conventional case, the high-end digital camera module uses all of the mechanical shutter, aperture, and ND filter, whereas the camera module mounted on the entry-level camera module or mobile terminal uses only the electronic shutter or only the electronic shutter and the aperture. The corrections do not meet both high performance and miniaturization. In particular, since most camera modules mounted on a mobile terminal use only an electronic shutter, it is difficult to take a lively picture. Sometimes there is a camera module to which an aperture is applied, but there is a problem that it does not reach the performance of the camera module equipped with a mechanical shutter.
The present invention is to solve the above-described problems, by controlling the motor for driving the aperture in the exposure control of the digital camera module to realize the same performance as the operation of the aperture, such as a mechanical shutter, miniaturization of the camera module It aims at realizing high performance.

As shown, the
The CCD /
The camera module typically includes a focus drive motor 106 for focus adjustment and a
2 is a view showing an aperture driving apparatus according to the present invention.
The aperture driving device having a mechanical shutter function according to the present invention includes a
The DSP / ISP 200 performs AF and zoom operations through initial metering. Metering is performed again because the exposure value changes after AF and Zoom operations. The DSP / ISP 200 transmits the measured amount of light to the controller 220, and the controller 220 reads the aperture value Av and the shutter speed Tv from the exposure value table 202.
When the aperture value Av is determined, the stepping
In other words, the present invention is able to perform the aperture function and the shutter function by operating in the aperture mode and the shutter mode using a single aperture.
The pulse speed value determines the driving speed of the stepping
Figure 3a is a view showing a two-phase excitation method according to the present invention, Figure 3b is a view showing a 1-2 phase excitation method according to the present invention.
The two-phase excitation method is characterized in that the step angle is large because the two phases are driven simultaneously by applying current to the stepping motor. On the other hand, the 1-2 phase excitation method is driven by applying current to only one phase at a time and then driving by applying current to two phases at the same time. Therefore, the step angle is smaller than the two-phase excitation method.
As shown in FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B, the driving range of the two-phase excitation method, that is, the driving angle is 90 degrees, and the driving angle of the 1-2 phase excitation method is 45 degrees. Able to know. Therefore, it can be seen that the 1-2 phase excitation method enables more precise driving than the two phase excitation method. Therefore, in the case of the aperture driving that adjusts the amount of light, the driving is performed by the 1-2 phase excitation method for more precise work, and the driving by the two phase excitation method for the shutter drive requiring the quick driving. .
4 is a diagram illustrating an example of a driver control signal according to the present invention.
As described above, the present invention allows driving in the aperture mode and the shutter mode. That is, when the aperture value and the shutter speed are determined by metering, the controller generates a control signal for satisfying the condition. At this time, any one of the two-phase excitation method and the 1-2-phase excitation method is performed according to the aperture mode and the shutter mode. As shown in the drawing, the control unit may variously determine the driving speed of the stepping motor by providing a control signal for determining the phase method and the pulse speed.
5 is a view showing the size of the step angle and the size of the step angle in accordance with the method of the excitation according to the present invention.
As shown, it can be seen that the operation according to the 1-2 phase excitation method and the operation according to the two phase excitation method generate a double step angle difference in its driving range. Therefore, as described above, when a more precise drive such as an aperture drive is desired, an operation according to the 1-2 phase excitation method is performed, and when a fast drive such as a shutter drive is desired, an operation according to the two phase excitation method is performed. Do it. 5 shows the operation according to the 1-2 phase excitation method and the operation according to the two phase excitation method, and also shows the operation by switching from the operation according to the 1-2 phase excitation method to the operation according to the two phase excitation method. .
When the shutter mode is operated, the setting is changed from the 1-2 phase excitation method to the two phase excitation method with a double step angle, and a high speed pulse is applied to perform the high speed mechanical shutter operation in the high illuminance and the sports operation mode. When operating the iris mode, it is possible to capture smooth images during video shooting by adjusting the fine step angle through the 1-2 phase excitation method and the low speed pulse.
6 is a diagram illustrating an exposure value table stored in a memory unit in the present invention.
In the present invention, the aperture value and the shutter speed are determined according to the measured exposure value EV. The exposure value table is as shown in FIG. 6. Once the exposure value is set, it does not operate at a constant shutter speed, but at a shutter speed that matches the aperture value. In particular, the shutter speed changes the pulse speed applied to the motor depending on the position of the aperture. For example, if the camera is equipped with a mechanical shutter and the exposure value (EV) is set to 10 at the aperture value of

(S102).As described above, the present invention performs AF and zoom operations through initial metering. After the AF and the zoom operation, since the exposure value is changed, metering is performed again (S100). The exposure value is set according to the metering, and accordingly, the aperture value Av and the shutter speed Tv are determined (S102).
(S106).After setting the aperture value Av, when the user performs a half shutter operation for photographing (S104), the stepping motor is driven in the aperture mode. At this time, the stepping motor is driven in a low speed 1-2 phase excitation method and moves to the position of the aperture at a fine step angle (S106).
When the aperture stops moving to the position where the aperture value is determined (S108), the stepping motor is set to a high speed 2-phase excitation instead of a low speed 1-2 phase excitation. When the user presses the shutter after the half-shutter operation for capturing, the stepping motor performs the shutter driving in a two-phase excitation method of the fast pulse according to the set value (S110). After performing the shutter driving, the camera returns to the standby mode, which is the initial mode, and performs metering (S112).
On the other hand, as described above, although the low speed 1-2 phase excitation method and the high speed two phase excitation method are selectively used depending on the aperture mode and the shutter mode, the present invention is implemented only by the low speed 1-2 phase excitation method. It is also possible. That is, in order to implement a finer step angle regardless of the mode, it is also possible to implement by only a 1-2 phase excitation method, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
The technical spirit of the present invention has been described above with reference to the accompanying drawings, but this is by way of example only and not intended to limit the present invention. In addition, it is obvious that any person skilled in the art can make various modifications and imitations without departing from the scope of the technical idea of the present invention.
As described above, the present invention enables a fine step angle and a slow aperture operation when driving an aperture to finely reflect a change in brightness of an image when capturing a moving image or a still image, and enables a large step angle and a high speed shutter operation during a shutter operation. In addition, it is possible to miniaturize the camera module by reducing the use of the motor.
