The present invention relates to an electrolytic cell of a complex mediated oxidation apparatus capable of treating organic waste liquid by electrochemical mediated oxidation and ozone oxidation.
Recently, organic wastewater is generated in various chemical processes, and organic waste liquids are incinerated and removed or oxidized and removed by an electrochemical method.
However, incineration of organic waste liquids causes a high cost of maintenance due to corrosion of the incinerator, and also generates secondary pollutants such as dioxins and nitrogen oxides during incineration. There are many difficulties in securing it.
In addition, as environmental standards for waste treatment have been strengthened, much attention has been paid to the treatment of organic waste liquid.
In order to solve the above problems, the present inventor has filed a patent application 2004-23367, "Compound mediated oxidation treatment apparatus for organic waste liquid by electrochemical mediated oxidation and ozone oxidation". However, there is a need for a higher efficiency mediated oxidation treatment device, and further studies have been conducted to solve this problem.
Mediated Electrochemical Oxidation (MEO) process using cerium (Ce) as an intermediary metal ion is a process that decomposes organic matter by using a strong oxidizer (Ce 4+ ) generated by oxidizing Ce 3+ electrochemically As a result, the electrolytic cell portion in which Ce 3+ is oxidized to Ce 4+ is the most important part in the MEO process. Difficulty in decomposing organic material decomposition treatment technology and economic efficiency can be an important factor of the technology. The decomposition efficiency and economic efficiency of the organic waste liquid in the complex mediated oxidation treatment device are greatly influenced by the performance of the electrolytic cell producing Ce 4+ which directly decomposes the organic waste liquid. For example, Environmental Progress, Vol. 20, No. 4, 2001 and US Pat. No. 5,756,874 require 0.89 kWh / kg-Ce (IV) energy to produce 1 kg of Ce (IV), which is still economical and efficient. There is a need for development of an electrolytic cell that can be used.
Therefore, it is very important to develop an electrolytic cell having a high energy efficiency and a relatively low operating cost in facilities in a hardly decomposable organic material treatment process.
Apparatus according to the present invention for solving the above problems has been found to have a better energy efficiency when using a mesh electrode in the electrolytic cell of the conventional mediated oxidation treatment apparatus to complete the present invention.
Therefore, the present invention is to provide an organic waste liquid complex mediated treatment apparatus and an electrolytic cell that can increase the energy efficiency in the difficult-decomposable organic matter processing process, by using a mesh electrode.
In addition, the present invention is provided with a diaphragm between the anode chamber and the cathode chamber, an anode electrode and the cathode electrode is composed of a mesh electrode and an organic waste liquid complex treatment apparatus comprising the same.
In another aspect, the present invention is to provide a composite electrolytic cell comprising a multi-stage anode electrode and a cathode electrode, and a complex mediated oxidation treatment apparatus of the organic waste liquid having the same.

In detail, in the complex mediated oxidation treatment apparatus for organic waste liquid including a mediated oxidation reaction tank, an electrolytic cell and a catholyte regeneration tank, the electrolytic cell is provided with a diaphragm between the anode chamber and the cathode chamber, the anode electrode and the cathode. The present invention relates to a complex mediated oxidation treatment apparatus for organic waste liquid and an electrolytic cell having the mesh electrode.
