Abstract

PURPOSE: A circuit for controlling a ringing sound level in a telephone terminal is provided to control a ringing sound level synchronized through a speaker phone circuit of a telephone terminal having a speaker phone when a ringing sound is produced from a telephone terminal which does not have a speaker phone, thereby increasing product reliability. CONSTITUTION: A variable volume circuit(10) controls volume of an inputted ring signal sound according to a volume control value selected by a user, and outputs the controlled volume. Resistances(R2-R4) and a capacitor(C1) apply the volume as a reference power of the ringing signal sound in connection with an input end of the variable volume circuit(10). An amplifying circuit(12) amplifies the controlled ringing signal sound at certain level, and outputs the amplified signal. Resistances(R6,R7) and a capacitor(C2) control a level of the ringing sound as much as the ringing sound level which is synchronized through a speaker phone circuit.
