Abstract

PURPOSE: A pipe joint and a snap ring for the pipe joint are provided to maintain watertightness by pushing a pipe into the pipe joint without additional parts except the snap ring and packings and to simply separate the pipe from the pipe joint. CONSTITUTION: A pipe joint comprises a body(20) in which a pipe(10) is inserted; a snap ring(30) inserted inside the body; and packings to maintain watertightness between the pipe and the body. The snap ring forms a fitting piece holding the inserted pipe. The fitting piece has a first bending part(32a) bending toward the inside of the body of the pipe joint, and a second bending part(32b) extended from the first bending part. The tip part(32c) of the second bending part bends with inclination in the spiral direction. A rotation-preventing unit to prevent the snap ring from rotating by the rotation of the pipe is formed to the outside of the snap ring.
