Abstract

PURPOSE: A waveguide slot antenna and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by forming the waveguide with a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION: A waveguide slot antenna(100) is comprised of a lower conductive plate(130), an intermediate conductive plate(120), and an upper conductive plate(110). These plates(110,120,130) are layered. A first feeding line(133) is formed on a lower surface of the lower conductive plate(130) and functions as a frequency signal path. An end of the first feeding line(133) is opened. A first waveguide(132) is connected to the first feeding line(133) to transmit the frequency signal. A radiation waveguide(131) is connected to the first feeding line(133) to receive the frequency signal. A protrusion is provided on an inner of the radiation waveguide(131) to change a direction of the frequency signal. The intermediate conductive plate(120) is layered on an upper of the lower conductive plate(130). A plurality of radiation holes(121) are provided on the intermediate conductive plate(120). The radiation holes(121), a second waveguide(122), and a second dividing path are communicated.
