Abstract
Description
Claims (7)
- 理論空燃比を目標空燃比としたストイキ燃焼モードとリーン空燃比を目標空燃比としたリーン燃焼モードとに切換可能な内燃機関と、車載のバッテリにより駆動されて、少なくともリーン燃焼モードの一部運転条件下では吸気量の一部を分担する電動式吸気供給装置と、を備えた車両用内燃機関の制御方法であって、
内燃機関のトルクおよび回転速度をパラメータとして、上記ストイキ燃焼モードとするストイキ燃焼運転領域と上記リーン燃焼モードとするリーン燃焼運転領域とを予め設定するとともに、
上記ストイキ燃焼運転領域から上記リーン燃焼運転領域へ移行したときに、上記リーン燃焼モードへ切り換えた場合の上記電動式吸気供給装置の要求電力量を求め、
この要求電力量に対し上記バッテリの充電状態が不十分なときは上記ストイキ燃焼モードを継続する、車両用内燃機関の制御方法。 - 上記要求電力量は、ストイキ燃焼モードからリーン燃焼モードへの切換およびその後のリーン燃焼モードからストイキ燃焼モードへの切換に伴い発生するNOxの処理に必要な燃料増加量と、リーン空燃比とすることによる燃料減少量と、の損益分岐点となるリーン燃焼モードの運転継続時間に対応して設定される、請求項1に記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。
- 上記リーン燃焼運転領域の中で上記電動式吸気供給装置に依存せずにリーン空燃比が実現可能な運転点へ移行するときは、リーン燃焼モードへの切換を許可する、請求項1または2に記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。
- 車載の他の電気機器が必要とする電力量と上記要求電力量とから、上記バッテリのSOCの下限値を設定し、
上記のバッテリの充電状態が不十分であるか否かを、上記下限値と上記バッテリのSOCとを比較して判断する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。 - 車両の自動運転時に、予測される車両の運転パターンを考慮して上記要求電力量を求める、請求項1に記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。
- 上記リーン燃焼運転領域における各運転点に対しリーン空燃比である目標空燃比を割り付けたリーン空燃比マップと、少なくとも上記ストイキ燃焼運転領域の各運転点に対し理論空燃比近傍の目標空燃比を割り付けたストイキ空燃比マップと、上記ストイキ燃焼運転領域および上記リーン燃焼運転領域の双方を含む運転領域の各運転点に対し上記電動式吸気供給装置の停止を前提として理論空燃比近傍の目標空燃比ないしリーン空燃比である目標空燃比を割り付けた第3の空燃比マップと、を備え、
上記のバッテリの充電状態が不十分なときは上記第3の空燃比マップを用いる、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の車両用内燃機関の制御方法。 - 理論空燃比近傍を目標空燃比としたストイキ燃焼モードとリーン空燃比を目標空燃比としたリーン燃焼モードとに切換可能な内燃機関と、車載のバッテリにより駆動されて、少なくともリーン燃焼モードの一部運転条件下では吸気量の一部を分担する電動式吸気供給装置と、コントローラと、を備えた車両用内燃機関の制御装置であって、
上記コントローラは、
内燃機関のトルクおよび回転速度をパラメータとして、上記ストイキ燃焼モードとするストイキ燃焼運転領域と上記リーン燃焼モードとするリーン燃焼運転領域とを予め設定した制御マップを備え、
上記ストイキ燃焼運転領域から上記リーン燃焼運転領域への移行の要求を検出したときに、上記リーン燃焼モードへ切り換えたときの上記電動式吸気供給装置の要求電力量を求めて、この要求電力量に対し上記バッテリの充電状態が不十分なときは上記ストイキ燃焼モードを継続する、
