The present invention relates to a modified water rust prevention effect determination device and a modified water rust prevention effect determination method, and more specifically, in a short time, easily determines that the rust prevention property of water has been improved by reforming water. The present invention relates to a modified water rust prevention effect determination apparatus and a modified water rust prevention effect determination method that can be performed.
Generally, when a metal is immersed in water for a long time, the surface of the metal is corroded. Metal corrosion is caused by local polarization of a portion of the metal surface to the anode and cathode. When a small amount of current flows between the anode and the cathode, an oxidation reaction occurs at the anode and a reduction reaction occurs at the cathode. As the surface of the metal is oxidized by the oxidation reaction at the anode, the corrosion of the metal proceeds.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various water reforming apparatuses that can purify water with ceramics that emit far infrared rays are known as apparatuses for reforming water. As an example of this water reforming apparatus, there is an apparatus named “The Bio Water” (registered trademark) commercially available from Urban Expansion Co., Ltd. (see Non-Patent Document 1). It has been reported that the water reformed by this water reformer has various effects, and in particular, it is attracting attention that it is effective for measures against red rust degradation. Specifically, the water reformed by the water reformer is less likely to corrode the metal than the water not reformed by the water reformer. In other words, the water rust prevention property is improved by reforming the water with the water reformer. For example, by providing a water reformer in the middle of a pipe and passing the reformed water reformed by the water reformer into the pipe, it is possible to suppress the progress of metal corrosion on the inner surface of the pipe. Can do.
In order to evaluate the progress of metal corrosion by observing and analyzing the surface of a metal immersed in water, it usually takes several months to several years after the metal is immersed in water. . Similarly, in order to verify the effect that the corrosion of the metal on the inner surface of the pipe can be suppressed by providing the water reforming apparatus in the middle of the pipe, several months to several years after the water reforming apparatus has been provided. About time is required. Therefore, after providing a water reforming apparatus in the middle of piping, there exists a problem that it cannot determine that the rust prevention property of water improved in a short time.
In general, the water reformer is generally installed in piping of a large-scale facility such as a factory or a building. In order to investigate the water reforming effect of the water reformer using the pipe where the water reformer is installed, temporarily stop the operation of the equipment equipped with these pipes and drain the water inside the pipe. After that, it is necessary to observe the inner surface of the pipe. Stopping the operation of the equipment is often difficult in practice, and a great deal of labor is required to drain the water inside the piping. Is difficult to verify in a pipe in which a water reformer is installed.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is that the rust prevention effect of reformed water that can be measured in a short time and simply that the rust prevention property of the reformed water that has been reformed using a water reformer has been improved.
In the present invention, the cathodic reaction can be rapidly advanced by energizing between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode. Therefore, even if the experiment time is short, the formation of the calcium carbonate coating on the cathode electrode proceeds to such an extent that the difference in rust prevention between the reformed water and the unmodified water can be determined. According to the present invention, it is not necessary to conduct an experiment in which a metal is immersed in water for a long period of several months to several years, and it is determined that the rust prevention property of water has been improved by a short-term experiment of several days. It is possible to provide a modified water rust prevention effect determination apparatus and a modified water rust prevention effect determination method that can be used.
Moreover, since the modified water rust prevention effect determination device and the modified water rust prevention effect determination method of the present invention can determine the rust prevention effect of the modified water using the resistance value between the pair of cathode electrodes, There is no need to actually observe the surface of a metal immersed in water, and it is simple.
The modified water rust prevention effect determination device of the present invention includes a first resistance measurement device, a second resistance measurement device, and determination means. Hereinafter, the first resistance measurement device will be described with reference to FIG. 1, but the second resistance measurement device has the same configuration as the first resistance measurement device shown in FIG. 1.
As shown in FIG. 1, the first
When the pair of
The shape of the anode electrode is not particularly limited, and may be a plate shape, a rod shape, or a line shape.
The anode reaction is generally an oxidation reaction. For example, when the surface of the

よって、カソード反応が進むにつれてカソード電極3の表面には、CaCO3(以下、「炭酸カルシウム」と称することがある。) The cathode reaction is generally a reduction reaction, and, for example, the following reaction (3) or (4) is caused.

2H 2 O + 2e − → 2OH − + H 2 (4)

Calcium carbonate can take mainly two different crystal structures, aragonite and calcite. Aragonite crystals are known to have a needle-like shape. On the other hand, calcite crystals are known to have a granular shape. In calcium carbonate having a large ratio of aragonite, acicular crystals adhere while forming many gaps, so that the calcium carbonate coating sparsely covers the surface of the electrode. On the other hand, in the calcium carbonate film having a large calcite ratio, the granular crystals adhere without gaps, so that the calcium carbonate film can uniformly cover the surface of the electrode. The electrical resistance of the
When a metal is immersed in water, a calcium carbonate film is formed on the metal surface by a cathode reaction, so that the calcium carbonate film functions as a protective film on the metal surface, and oxidation of the metal surface is suppressed. Further, since the calcium carbonate coating covers the metal surface, it becomes difficult for current to flow between the locally polarized anode and the cathode, and oxidation of the metal surface due to the anode reaction is suppressed. Therefore, the more the calcium carbonate coating covers the metal surface without gaps, the more metal corrosion can be suppressed.

As the 1st electric

As the current supplied by the first

As shown in FIG. 2, the first
Examples of the water reforming apparatus include an apparatus having a hybrid ceramic disposed in the water flow passage. For example, “The Bio Water (registered trademark)” manufactured by Toshi Kogyo Co., Ltd. can be used. it can. The hybrid ceramic is a ceramic that radiates 4.4 to 15.4 μm of far-infrared rays with an integral emissivity of 92% or more. By modifying tap water with this hybrid ceramic, “life activation power”, “ At least one of the water-modifying effects among the antibacterial power, the antioxidant power, the detergency, the environmental cleanup power, the reforming sustainability, and the anticorrosive power is achieved. (See non-cited document 1).
The reformed
More specifically, in the metal immersed in the modified
In FIG. 2, the
The determination unit 91 can determine the antirust effect of the reforming
The determination unit 91 can determine the rust prevention effect of the reformed
The measurement output means 36 may be an apparatus that combines a measurement device that measures the resistance value between the cathode electrodes and an output device that outputs the measurement result to the determination means 91.
Next, the operation of the present invention will be described.
For example, as shown in FIG. 4, when a
Next, the first
The modified
Furthermore, the magnitude of the current supplied by the first
The larger the resistance value between the cathode electrodes, the more the calcium carbonate coating containing abundant calcite crystals is formed on the cathode electrodes.
The measurement output means 36 and 86 output the measured resistance values as the output signal A and the output signal B to the determination means 91. The determination unit 91 determines that the electrical resistance of the

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described using examples.
(Example 1:
Unmodified water 42 was obtained by adding calcium sulfate to 5000 mL of tap water so that the hardness was 300 ppm. In this unmodified water 42, the same hybrid ceramic plate (130 × 200 × 7 mm) loaded in “The Bio Water” is put and left to stand for 25 minutes to obtain modified
Next, the first
Then, after 120 hours, resistance values between the cathode electrode 13 and the
From the above, it was shown that the
Thus, based on the resistance ratio between the output signal A output from the measurement output means in the first resistance measurement device and the output signal B output from the measurement output means in the second resistance measurement device, the presence or absence of the reforming effect is determined.
