FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a
The

An example of the
For example, when using pulsed light oscillated from an optical

The
The
The

FIG. 4 shows an example of information stored in the
In addition to the example shown in FIG. 4, information about the intensity of the target gas may be stored. In this case, a profile of an absorption spectrum of exhaled breath emitted from a patient with a specific disease may be stored as image data or the like, and the disease name of the disease may be associated with the profile. The profile may be an averaged absorption spectrum of exhaled breath from multiple patients with the same disease. In that case, it is not necessary to specify the target gas corresponding to the peak of the absorption spectrum, and therefore the information of the target gas name may be omitted.

Exhaled air is introduced into the
Infrared light is incident from the
The
The analysis unit 192 records the detection result in its own memory or the like (S106). In this case, the analysis unit 192 normalizes the intensity I 1 of the
The
The analysis unit 192 calibrates the wave number of the detection result recorded in the memory or the like (S110). In this case, the analysis unit 192 identifies the detection result from the
As schematically shown in FIG. 6, on the basis of the detection result from the
The analysis unit 192 subtracts the detection result from the
As schematically shown in FIG. 6, an absorption spectrum (c) is obtained by subtracting (b) which is the absorption spectrum of the
The analysis unit 192 compares the absorption spectrum obtained as a result of Step S112 with the profile of the absorption spectrum stored in the
According to this embodiment, by identifying the wave number using the
In addition, since the wave number can be swept in a wide band, absorption spectra of a plurality of types of volatile organic compounds contained in the
Further, by detecting the pulsed light that does not pass through either the

FIG. 7 shows an outline of another
An example of the
The optical
The optical path of the pulsed light emitted from the optical
The optical
The optical
The
As described above, since the
Note that the
As another example of the
In the above embodiment, one
The
For medical use, the
For agricultural, forestry, fishery and livestock applications, the
In this case, it is possible to specify the disease, breeding state, production location, presence / absence of agricultural chemicals, freshness, and ripening state of the crop as the generation factors. As food management, by using the
By using the
By using the
In any of the above-described application examples, the absorption spectrum profile is acquired using the
In particular, it is preferable to accumulate the breath and skin gas infrared absorption spectrum profiles of the subjects classified for each disease using the
In this case, since there may be a plurality of diseases inferred from only a single component, the diagnostic accuracy can be improved by simultaneously monitoring the plurality of components using the
Further, in the present embodiment, the infrared absorption spectrum of all components of the measurement target gas such as exhaled breath and skin gas is comprehensively analyzed, the characteristic absorption line for each disease is statistically analyzed, and the obtained absorption is obtained. A top-down research process that contributes to detailed identification of component information and biological reactions / mechanisms from line information is carried out. This research process is in a complementary relationship with the conventional bottom-up research process of elucidating the biological reaction at the molecular level and the pathogenesis mechanism from environmental factors such as DNA, protein information, diet, and air pollution. Both of these research processes will facilitate applications in healthcare and non-disease diagnosis.
