Abstract
Description
図1〜9は、実施形態1に係る鉛蓄電池およびその要部を模式的に示した図である。鉛蓄電池においては、複数の正極板及び負極板がセパレータを介して積層された極板群が複数用意されて、電解液と共に、電槽1の中で区切られた複数のセル室にそれぞれ収容されている。電槽1は上方が開口しており、その開口部を第1の蓋2が塞いでいる。
図10は、実施形態2に係る鉛蓄電池を模式的に示した図であり、第1の蓋2の周辺以外は実施形態1と同様である。本実施形態の特徴は、第1の蓋2の外周の少なくとも一部に沿って持ち手4dを設け、使用時にこの持ち手4dによって持ち上げれば取手機構となることである。すなわち、鉛蓄電池を車両内等の設置場所から持ち上げて取り外したり、逆に設置場所に納めようとする場合に、持ち手4dの把持部4eを手で持つことにより、容易に鉛蓄電池を持ち上げて移動させることができる。

- 極板群と、
前記極板群を収納する複数のセル室を有しているとともに上方が開口している電槽と、
前記電槽の開口部分を塞ぐ第1の蓋と
を備え、
前記第1の蓋には、それぞれの前記セル室の直上に設けられて電解液の注液を行うための複数の第1の孔と、隣り合う前記第1の孔同士を連通させる第2の孔と、一つの前記第1の孔と外部とを連通させる第3の孔と、外面に設けられた窪みであって前記第3の孔の外部への出口が底部に開口している窪みとが設けられており、
それぞれの前記第1の孔は栓によって塞がれており、前記栓には前記第2の孔と繋がっている第4の孔と、該第4の孔と前記セル室とを連通させている通気穴とが設けられており、
前記窪みは第2の蓋によって覆われており、
前記第2の蓋は、平板部と、該平板部の一部の領域を底として前記窪み側に突き出している筒状部と、該筒状部にはめ込まれた多孔体からなるフィルタとを備えており、
前記平板部のうち前記筒状部の底となっている部分には第5の孔が設けられている、鉛蓄電池。 - 前記極板群は、正極格子と正極活物質とからなる正極板と、負極格子と負極活物質とからなる負極板と、正極板と負極板の間に介在するセパレータと

前記正極格子は、上辺において前記正極格子を構成する複数の網目同士を連結する枠骨を有しており、側辺においては枠骨を有していない、請求項1に記載の鉛蓄電池。 - 前記正極格子がエキスパンド格子である、請求項2に記載の鉛蓄電池。

- 前記第5の孔の最大径は前記筒状部の最大内径よりも小さい、請求項1に記載の鉛蓄電池。
- 前記第1の蓋には鉛蓄電池を持ち上げるための持ち手が取り付けられており、
前記持ち手は、前記第1の蓋に回転自在に填め込まれた支点部と、前記支点部から延びて把持される把持部とを有しており、
前記把持部は、前記第1の蓋の外周に沿って置かれている状態と、前記支点部を中心に回転して前記第1の蓋の上方に位置する状態との間を行き来する、請求項1に記載の鉛蓄電池。
