Description
The present invention relates to an arc welding wire cutting tool capable of cutting an arc welding wire without deforming a cross section, and an arc welding method using the same.
Conventionally, gas shielded arc welding such as carbon dioxide arc welding and MAG welding has been used when assembling automobile parts and the like. A welding torch used for this gas shielded arc welding is composed of a contact tip to which an arc welding wire is fed and a cylindrical shield nozzle disposed so as to enclose the contact tip. In gas shielded arc welding, a large current is passed through a contact tip to a wire for arc welding that is continuously sent out to generate an arc (discharge) between the wire for arc welding and a member to be welded, In this welding method, the arc welding wire and the member to be welded are melted by heat generated at that time, and the member to be welded is welded. When performing gas shielded arc welding, in order to prevent blowholes from coming into contact with the welding location and air, inert gas such as carbon dioxide or argon gas is diffused with a shield nozzle. Instead, it is supplied to the welding location. As the arc welding wire, a solid wire having a solid cross-sectional shape or a flux cored wire filled with welding flux inside is used.
As shown in
In addition, when the clearance between the contact tip wire delivery hole and the arc welding wire is increased, the arc welding wire delivered from the contact tip is displaced from the target welding position, resulting in poor welding. .
In view of this, there has been proposed a contact tip that improves the accuracy of the welding target position as shown in Patent Document 4 and Patent Document 5. The contact tip shown in Patent Document 4 is a contact tip divided into a plurality of pieces by a fastening ring. Thus, if the contact tip shown in Patent Document 4 is used, the arc welding wire is elastically sandwiched between the contact tips divided into a plurality of parts, and the wire for arc welding and the wire feed hole of the contact tip are Therefore, not only the accuracy of the welding target position is improved, but also the arc is stabilized because the contact tip and the arc welding wire are always in contact with each other. However, the contact tip shown in Patent Document 4 is very expensive because it is composed of a plurality of parts and requires an assembling process as compared with a conventional contact tip having only a wire delivery hole. It becomes a product. For this reason, there is a problem that the use of the contact chip disclosed in Patent Document 4 as a consumable contact chip increases the cost.
The contact tip shown in Patent Document 5 is formed by bending a wire delivery hole by bending, and improves the accuracy of the contact position and stabilizes the arc. However, the contact chip disclosed in Patent Document 5 also has a problem that it is difficult in terms of cost because it requires bending.
If the clearance between the wire for arc welding and the wire delivery hole of the contact tip can be reduced, the occurrence of the burnback phenomenon and the increase in spatter can be avoided, and the accuracy of the welding target position can be improved. However, it has been very difficult to reduce the clearance for the reasons described below. In order to set the arc welding wire on the welding torch, the arc welding wire must be inserted into the wire feed hole of the contact tip. When exchanging the contact tips, the tip of the arc welding wire is melted into a spherical shape due to the heat of welding. For this reason, it is necessary to cut | disconnect the front-end | tip of the wire for arc welding with cutting tools, such as a nipper, and to remove the said spherical part. As shown in Patent Document 6, the nipper that cuts the wire has opposing press contact blades that are axially attached so as to be separable from each other. As shown in FIG. The material to be cut is pressed and cut. However, when the arc welding wire is cut with such a nipper, when the arc welding wire is pressed, the portion to be pressed is greatly crushed and the cut surface is deformed into an elliptical shape. For this reason, conventionally, in order to insert the arc welding wire with a deformed cut surface into the wire delivery hole of the contact tip, the inner diameter of the wire delivery hole is added, and the deformation of the cut surface is added to the diameter of the arc welding wire The inner diameter was larger than that (shown in FIG. 12). However, if the wire delivery hole is set to the inner diameter as shown in the table of FIG. 12, the clearance between the wire delivery hole and the arc welding wire increases, and as described above, the occurrence of burnback phenomenon, increased spatter, The problem of a decrease in the accuracy of the welding target position occurs.
Provided is an arc welding wire cutting tool capable of minimizing deformation of a cutting surface of an arc welding wire. In addition, an arc welding method using a wire cutting tool for arc welding that can avoid the occurrence of a burnback phenomenon and increase in spatter during welding and improve the accuracy of a welding target position is provided.

To do.
The gas shielded arc welding method of the invention according to claim 6 using the wire cutting tool for arc welding of the present invention is a welding method for joining members to be welded by arc welding, wherein the receiving portion is provided at the tip of the handle portion. The receiving member and the blade member having a blade portion formed at the tip of the handle portion, the receiving member and the blade member so that the blade portion slides in close contact with one side surface of the receiving portion. For arc welding in which a blade member is pivotally mounted crossing the blade member, and a receiving groove for receiving an arc welding wire to be cut is formed in the edge portion of the receiving portion facing the blade portion in the width direction. An arc welding wire is received in the receiving groove of the wire cutting tool, the arc welding wire is cut, and a contact tip in which a wire delivery hole having an inner diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the arc welding wire is formed. Cutting the said By inserting the arc welding wire, by setting the contact tip to arc welding torch and performing arc welding.
The invention according to
For this reason, the arc welding wire is received in the receiving groove at the time of cutting, and is sheared between the blade edge of the blade portion, so that deformation at the time of cutting the arc welding wire can be minimized. By using the wire cutting tool for arc welding according to the present invention, even if the contact tip has a wire delivery hole that is slightly larger than the diameter of the wire for arc welding, The hole can be inserted, and the clearance between the arc welding wire and the wire feed hole of the contact tip can be reduced. For this reason, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of a burnback phenomenon or increase in spatter during welding and improve the accuracy of the welding target position, and to reduce welding defects to 1/2 to 1/3 compared to the conventional case. Is possible.
In addition, since the clearance between the arc welding wire and the contact tip wire delivery hole can be reduced, the arc welding wire can be securely attached to the wire delivery hole even if the overall length of the contact tip is reduced to half or less. It is possible to significantly reduce the material of contact tips composed of expensive copper alloys (1/2 to 1/3 by volume), and to provide contact tips at a low cost. It is possible to contribute to resource saving.
When the clearance exceeds a predetermined value, the contact tip is replaced to avoid welding failure. However, when the wire cutting tool for arc welding of the present invention is used, the wire for arc welding and the wire feed hole of the contact tip are not connected. Clearance can be reduced. For this reason, the conventional contact tip having a large clearance from the beginning was replaced in about 2 hours. When the contact tip corresponding to the present contact tip is used, the usage time is about 4 to 6 hours. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the cost of the user and contribute to resource saving.
Further, conventionally, the clearance is large from the beginning, and in order to extend the life of the contact chip, a solution treatment for dissolving chrome, manganese, silicon or the like in copper or a precipitation hardening treatment is required. Then, since the clearance can be set small, the life of the contact chip can be extended and the manufacturing cost can be greatly reduced without performing a solution treatment or a precipitation hardening treatment. Further, since it is not necessary to perform the solution treatment or precipitation hardening treatment, it is possible to increase the electrical conductivity (95 to 100%) without reducing the electrical resistivity, and for contact tips and arc welding. It becomes possible to stabilize energization with the wire, and the arc becomes stable.
The invention according to
For this reason, since the lower half of the arc welding wire is cut while being received in close contact with the bottom of the receiving groove, the arc welding wire can be further prevented from being deformed.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the invention, a receiving groove for receiving the arc welding wire is provided in the width direction in a position facing the receiving groove of the receiving portion of the blade portion. It is characterized by that.
For this reason, since the arc welding wire is received by the receiving groove on the blade portion side at the time of cutting, the deformation at the time of cutting the arc welding wire can be further suppressed.
The invention according to claim 4 is characterized in that, in the invention according to
The invention according to claim 5 is characterized in that, in the invention according to claim 4, a pinching portion protruding to the other side is formed at the tip of the pinching portion formed at the tip of the blade portion and the receiving portion. To do. For this reason, even when the arc welding wire is welded to the outlet of the wire delivery hole of the contact tip, the arc welding wire is pulled by holding the tip of the arc welding wire with the clamping portion. It becomes possible to cut.
The invention according to claim 6 includes a receiving member in which a receiving portion is formed at the tip of the handle portion, and a blade member in which a blade portion is formed at the tip of the handle portion. Arc welding in which the receiving member and the blade member intersect with each other so that the blade portion slides in close contact with each other so that the blade portion is pivotally supported, and the edge portion of the receiving portion facing the blade portion is cut. From the diameter of the arc welding wire, the arc welding wire is received in the receiving groove of the arc welding wire cutting tool in which the receiving groove for receiving the wire for welding is formed in the width direction, and the arc welding wire is cut. The arc welding wire is inserted into a contact tip having a slightly larger inner diameter wire feed hole, and the contact tip is set on an arc welding torch to perform arc welding. . For this reason, it becomes possible to set the clearance between the wire for arc welding and the wire delivery hole of the contact tip small, avoid the occurrence of burnback phenomenon and increase in spatter during welding, and improve the accuracy of the welding target position. It is possible to reduce the welding defects to 1/2 to 1/3 compared to the conventional case.

(Configuration of the present invention)
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a wire cutting tool for arc welding according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. (First Embodiment) FIG. 1 is a top view of a wire cutting tool for arc welding according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a front view of FIG. As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the wire cutting tool for arc welding is configured by pivotally mounting the
The proximal end side of the
The base end side of the receiving
The
FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of the receiving portion. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a receiving
Opposing portions of the
When the operator grips the
(Operation of the present invention)
When cutting the arc welding wire, the operator receives the arc welding wire in the receiving
FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram showing the effect of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 6 (3), when the arc welding wire is cut using the arc welding wire cutting tool of the present invention, it is cut in a state of being received in the receiving
In this embodiment, the receiving
In the embodiment shown in the drawing, the receiving
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, when a cutting blade is also formed in the receiving
(Gas shield arc welding method)
FIG. 7 shows an explanatory diagram of the gas shield
The
The
When the
When the arc welding wire is cut using the arc welding wire cutting tool of the present invention, as described above, deformation at the time of cutting can be suppressed to a minimum, so as shown in FIG. Even if the inner diameter of the 53
Thus, by reducing the clearance between the wire for arc welding and the
(Configuration of Second Embodiment)
The top view of 2nd Embodiment is shown in FIG. 8, and 2nd Embodiment is demonstrated. As shown in FIG. 8, in the second embodiment, a
(Configuration of Third Embodiment)
FIG. 9 shows a top view of the third embodiment, and the third embodiment will be described. As shown in FIG. 9, in the third embodiment, gripping
Note that the dimension between the clamping surface 1i and the
(Configuration of Fourth Embodiment)
FIG. 10 shows a top view of the fourth embodiment, and the fourth embodiment will be described. As shown in FIG. 10, in the fourth embodiment, a pinching portion 1j and a pinching portion 2j protruding to the other side are formed at the tips of the pinching portion 1h and the pinching
