Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily enable hour modification by the aid of normal hour modification operation by holding timer data less than minute units in the case where only the hour hand is modified at time modification and resetting second unit data from among the timer data in the case where the minute hand is modified. CONSTITUTION:A timer control means 3 gives a correction permit (g) for a timer correction means 4 and a display hand drive signal generating means 8 after coming in a time set mode by the use of an input signal detecting means 2 and further a timer stop instruction a is given to a timer stop means 5 when the minute hand is modified. A regular number modification is performed for a timer means 6 only when the timer correction means 4 detects hour and minute modification and a correction permit (g) is given. The means 5 gives the means 6 to a timer basic clock (b) output from a basic clock generating circuit 7 normally composed of an oscillating circuit 15 and a dividing circuit 38, but the clock (b) is not given the means 6 when the instruction a from the means 3 is received. The display hand drive signal generating means 8 synthesizes motor drive wave-form from the output (d) of the circuit 38 and a motor drive signal (e) is output in an outside output member 9 on the basis of timer data (c) from the means 6.
