Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove unnecessary reflection caused by reflection from the ground surface and the like and improve receiving sensitivity by providing a first and a second transmitting antennas, a first and a second receiving antennas of the same shape thereof, a load dispatching means, a differential receiver and the like. CONSTITUTION:An antenna part A is composed of a pair of transmitting antennas 11, 12 parallelly arranged by spaces and a pair of receiving antennas 21, 22 parallelly arranged by equal spaces thereto. A pulse signal of the same phase and amplitude is output from oscillators 31, 32 when a trigger signal is output from a timing circuit 33 and fed to the transmitting antennas 11, 12 respectively. On the other hand, a differential receiver 34 is synchronized with the trigger signal from the circuit 33 to operate and a signal corresponding to the difference between respective outputs of the receiving antennas 21, 22 is output. Said signal is transmitted to a display 36 after processing of gain adjustment, filtering and the like the aid of a signal processing circuit 35 and a reflected wave image of underground piping and the like is shown.
