Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the feeding of fruits in excess of a predetermined amount by establishing a fruit conveyer with a movable unloading end wherein, when a scale detects a predetermined amount of fruits, the encircling motion of the conveyor feeding fruits into a fruit receiving box located on the scale is stopped and the unloading end of the conveyor is relocated to the other box. CONSTITUTION:A fruit conveyor 5 carries fruits 2 by its encircling motion with an unloading end thereof so positioned as to feed the fruits 2 into a receiving box 3 located on a scale 1 and, when the fruits fed into the box 3 reach a predetermined amount, the scale 1 detects this amount. By this detection, the encircling motion of the fruit conveyor 5 feeding the fruits 2 is brought to a stop, while effecting a controllable relocation of the unloading end of the conveyor to the side of another box 4. When the unloading end has stopped where the fruits 2 can be fed into the box 4, the encircling motion of the fruit conveyor 5 is restarted for feeding the fruits 2 into the box 4, thereby preventing the fruits 2 from dropping all together into the box on the scale 1 and from exceeding the predetermined amount to a considerable degree upon relocating the unloading end of the fruit conveyor 5 and from exceeding a predetermined amount to a considerable degree.
