Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the dimension of a hydraulic pump and permit steering rear wheels and hold rear wheels at each neutral position when a hydraulic pump fails, by installing an accumulator, centering mechanism for the right and left rear wheels by the oil pressure supplied from the accumulator and a selecting value for connecting and disconnecting the supplied oil pressure. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator 42 communicating through a one-way valve 41 to an oil pressure feeding passage 36 formed between a hydraulic pump 37 and a power cylinder 25, centering mechanism 44 for holding the right and left rear wheels 3 and 3 at each neutral position through tie rods 21 and 21 by the pressure supplied from the accumulator 42, and a selector valve 45 for opening/closing the communication of the supplied oil pressure are provided. With this constitution, the rear wheels 3 and 3 can be properly steered in the state where the holding power supplied from the centering mechanism 44 does not act in the ordinary operation of the power cylinder 25. The right and left rear wheels 3 and 3 can be surely held at each neutral position by the oil pressure supplied from the accumulator 42, when the pump fails.
