Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve current control response, by providing an equivalent circuit of an armature winding in a current control system and operating a voltage to be applied across the armature winding. CONSTITUTION:An inductance voltage drop estimating circuit 22 estimates two-phase voltage drop due to an armature winding inductance based on a two-phase current feedback signal and two-phase inductance of the armature winding. A DC resistance voltage drop estimating circuit 23 estimates two-phase voltage drop due to DC resistance of the armature winding based on a two-phase current command signal or a two-phase current feedback signal and DC resistance of the armature winding. An induced voltage estimating circuit 24 estimates a two-phase voltage to be induced in the armature winding based on a two-phase rotary angle signal. A phase voltage command circuit 25 produces a two-phase voltage command signal from a two-phase voltage drop signal fed from the circuit 22, a two-phase voltage drop signal fed from the circuit 23 and a two-phase induction voltage signal fed from the circuit 24, si as to control an inverter based on the two-phase voltage command signal.
