Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable re-adhesion control corresponding to the nature of rail face or the rail condition, by retrieving rail condition corresponding to the position of an electric vehicle upon detection of idling or slippage, and then retrieving a common pattern corresponding to the rail condition. CONSTITUTION:Nature of rail face or rail condition at a point separated by some distance from a predetermined starting point are stored previously in a memory 1. Various current command patterns are recorded in a memory 2. On the other hand, distance from a starting point is indexed based on the rotation of a driven wheel when an electric vehicle is traveling. Upon detection of idling, the memory 1 is retrieved based on the indexed distance so as to specify the rail condition. Furthermore, a current command pattern suitable for the specified rail condition is retrieved from the memory 2. Then a motor 5 is controlled based on the current command pattern.
