Abstract

PURPOSE: To freely and speedily adjust fastening force by composing a main body part to cover a lower part of a leg, a malleolus, an instep, and the arch of a foot, and a rubber band of such a length as to be fixed to a boundary part between the instep and the arch at one end, wound at an ankle in a cross form, and adjustably applied to the opposite side of the foot to the boundary part at the other end, and adjustably pulling both side edges of the main body part. CONSTITUTION: A main body part 5 is vertically cut on the front side to have a gap, a tongue part 7 is disposed on the inner side of it, and a lace 8 is put to adjustably lace up. The main body part 5 covers both sides of the malleolus, a hole 9 is opened at a part of a heel 10, and a tiptoe 1 is protruded from the main body part 5. The rubber band 6 is formed in such a length as to be sewn to a boundary part between an instep and the arch of a foot at one end 6a, diagonally extended through an ankle front part a little above an instep, wound through the malleolus and around the back of the ankel to the opposite end, and diagonally extended in front of the ankle till the other end 6b reaches an expanded part on the opposite side of the instep and the arch where it is applied. Freely bending motion performance can be held, and an articulationes pedis can be protected with a sufficient tightening force, thereby fastening force can be freely, easily, and speedily adjusted.
